In a dream, Albert Eeinstein was drawing my attention to the chalkboard over a complex mathematical problem, what could this mean? I do not recall the numbers but I believe there was a radical in there.

You don't give much detail, so broadly, I would say that you are being advised to view a problem from a logical, and somewhat academic stance. Because he was essentially giving you a lesson, this may not be an issue you have encountered before - that may help you narrow it down. Look to your waking life for an issue that you've not experienced before, and you could try writing it down like an equation - break it down into its parts, try to see the connections between the parts, and if there is a pattern. Knowing the numbers would help, as you may be able to use numerology to get a feel for the nature of the parts.

I would also advise that you keep your eye open for any authority in your waking life that may be trying to give you counsel on a situation. Listen to those you respect who are giving you advice, and be open to those you wouldn't usually take advice from. Einstein was considered a bit of an eccentric, even though he was a scientist, so you may be offered counsel from an unlilkely source, one you wouldn't usually consider, or that others may consider 'weird'.

Don't worry if you don't figure this one out, the mind is tenacious when it wants you to know something, the same issue will be brought up again, in perhaps a completely different dream, and over again, until you grasp its meaning, or naturally resolve it by default, or through circumstance.
