It keeps popping up every where. I always seem to look at the clock when its 5:17pm (17:17). I am working as a housekeeper in a hotel until I go to college in January. More often than not when I go into the room 217 and I go to dust the desk with the alarm clock it's almost always 17 minutes after whatever time it is. Once even at 5:17pm. Recently I've been playing online scrabble to kill time in the evenings and for a couple days I was constantly scoring 17 points. Durong commercials on tv or being in the car listening to the radio I will suddenly pay attention when I heae the number 17.

17 The Star of the Magi This is a highly spiritual number, and was expressed in symbolism by the ancient Chaldeans as the 8-pointed Star of Venus. The Star of the Magi is the image of Love and Peace, and promises that the person or entity it represents with rise superior in spirit to the trials and difficulties of earlier life, with the ability to conquer former failure in personal relationships and the career. 17 is "the number of Immortality," and indicates that the person's (or entity's) name will live after him--(should one decide to die, that is, which is a choice, as you'll learn in the Physical Immortality chapter). This is an extremely fortunate Compound number, with one warning. It reduces to the Single number 8, so it's important for anyone with 17 as a Compound Key Number to carefully read the section about the numbers 4 and 8 at the end of this chapter.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you."
