Hi! First off, thank you Randall for registering me. <3 This is my first post! My name's Mandy. Nice to meet you. I thought I'd share some cool connections I made to my name and birthday. There's a tiny bit of astrology mixed into this, and a question for your opinion and insight at the end (thank you!).TDLR Summary of below paragraphs: -want to change my name for better number vibration -asteroids Ishtar and Innanen make exact hard aspects to luminaries -birth name (17 and 6) associated with Venus/Ishtar/Innanen -seems pretty cool with the connections but -should I still change my name? I mean, it makes an 8. Ew. plus I wanna be a successful musical artist/producer and writer. birth # and secondary birth # is 5. What's your opinion? So we all know the planet Venus - the planet of love, desire, and sexuality; the Roman name for the second closest planet to the sun. Venus is also known by many other names, three of which are Aphrodite, Ishtar and Innanen, which are all names assigned to three separate asteroids. Being a curious cat, I found out that I have Ishtar exactly conjunct my sun and square my moon (I have sun sq. moon), and Innanen square my sun and opposite my moon. The orbs are a few minutes apart, so I'm thinking it's pretty cool and decide to learn more about what Ishtar and Venus is about - their mythologies especially. I learned about the 8 pointed star aka the symbol representing Venus/Ishtar aka the Star of Ishtar. Now during all this I was in the middle of wanting to change my name because, lets face it, Mandy is so yesterday. Also I wanted a cooler number for my name for "luck." My full name equals 28, and I do relate to the description of that number in Star Signs (my middle name is occasionally used with my first). Because Chaldean numerology dictates you calculate your most common name with your last name, and I'm almost always only called by my first, I calculated my first and last and I got 17/8. Ew, 8, right? But after all the researching about Venus and Ishtar, when I reread the 17 description for the hundredth time, I noticed it - this number is associated with the 8 pointed Star of Venus. Not only that, but Mandy equals 15/6, the planet of Venus. Not only THAT, but the Latin meaning of Mandy is "much loved" and the basic meaning of Venus is "the loved one" which is the same in their basic meanings. Lastly, and I'm not sure how (not-so) important this tidbit of a connection is, but I also have asteroid Aphrodite exactly conjunct Chiron and sq. Mars. My Mars is only aspected to my Mercury w/ a 5 degree orb. Now I'm like 10% less sure about changing my name because while Mandy's so yesterday it's like everything fell into place and is some sort of fate that I'm afraid I'll miss if I change it... lol. Idk, but 17/8 is kind of a hard number, is it not? My career aspirations are creative ones: musical artist/producer, writer, etc. IP: Logged |

Ty Randall I don't wanna though. LOL. With a moon opposite and sun/jupiter square saturn, and Capricorn stellium, I naturally kind of want to embody less Saturn. I'm thinking, if I change my name will I lose my #17/8 progress because the meaning of that number is hard early life and good later life? I went through/am still going through the hard stuff. It probably doesn't work that way HAHAHA I'm ready to balance myself through every aspect possible! I'm looking at a 11/22 (33) name right now, I've been bouncing around names for the past several weeks lol. Is 17 or 33 more favourable? IP: Logged |

33 This number has no individual meaning of its own, but carries the same vibration of the 24--except that the magic of love, the extent of originality and creativity, and the promise of eventual financial success are deepened and increased. Due to the double 3, people whose name equals 33 are more fortunate in every way when involved in a harmonious partnership of some kind with the opposite sex, which applies to the career as well as to romantic and marital relationships. This is a number of well-deserved karmic reward. 33 people are advised not to abuse the astounding luck which will descend on them at sometime during the life by allowing it to tempt them into laziness, overconfidence, and a feeling of superiority. When a sense of humor and genuine humility accompany the 33 vibration, it's a wonderfully fortunate number.IP: Logged |

24 Love--Money--Creativity This number is also most fortunate, another Compound number of karmic reward, justly earned in past incarnations, particularly when it's the birth number. It promises the assistance of those with power, and it indicates a close association with people of high rank and position. It greatly increases financial success, and the ability to achieve happiness in love. It denotes gain through romance, the law, or the arts, and a magnetism which is extremely attractive to the opposite sex. The only warning related to the 24 is abused in the present life, it could revert to an 18 or some other extremely difficult birth number in the next. So one is warned not to fail to appreciate the benefits of the 23 and the 24 Compound numbers, and not allow such good fortune to cause selfishness or a careless attitude toward spiritual values. The temptation to indulge in promiscuity must be avoided; likewise a tendency to overindulgence of all kinds. IP: Logged |

I don't like 11 or 22 individually, but together it's a great number. IP: Logged |

I had a lot of different names. One was really long, and it was a 41 (50 with LLC added to it). But I went with the 33 over all of them.IP: Logged |
