On page 146 and 148 of this 1974 numerology book I read that too many 1s in your full name indicates an egotistical person only concerned with themselves and an abundance of 5s means someone who values freedom over anything and can’t be tied down. I’m not egotistical nor am I someone who is at all freedom loving or rebellious, but I have an over abundance of 5s and 1s in my name (I have no 7s). I actually am very selfless (which would indicate a lack of 1s) and very structured (indicates a lack of 5s). What gives?IP: Logged |

Have you considered the possibility that this data is simply false?Either that, or: 1. Your astrological chart cancel these tendencies. 2. You are enlightened, and therefore are not goverened anymore by the stars and their numerical frequencies. Pick the option you resonate with the most out of these three, or come up with another alternative, if that suits you best. IP: Logged |

I take it you don’t believe in numerology. To each their own. IP: Logged |

I do believe in numerology, but: 1. I am not familiar with the idea you described of the meaning of the numerological value of the letters and how often they appear in a name. 2. My response was no joke. Even when I suggested you might be enlightened I was merely pointing out an option. There is such a thing as enlightenment, and maybe you were not aware of it, but as a matter of fact enlightened people are not ruled by astrological influences (numerology is a part of astrology as the numbers are the frequencies of the planets). Does that mean astrology doesn't work? Of course it does. But not in the case of the enlightened soul. 3. If your astrological chart is very different than your numerology, the numerological traits would appear less frequently in your character. 4. I suggested that specific idea in the book you mentioned might be false. It was just a suggestion. It might also be right. What I was implying was that you can assume a critical approach and check the data you came across in the book in real life. If it does not apply to you, then see if it applies to others that you know. I personally know numerology to work, but I think not every numerology book automatically contains the truth, as there is more than one approach to the subject and not all of them are correct. In order to see if something truly works, I would test it. That's it. IP: Logged |
