Well, that is the reason that I didn`t post any pics here; actually that is the reason I avoided looking at my pics for several years.

But somehow it only seems fair to let you know how I look, since I can see your pictures, too.

And after all, it`S what they say in one of my favourite songs: "I am what I am".

This cutie on my arms is the son of my best friend, who has only been 10 days old, when the pic was taken (in april).

Your pictures are great especially with the young one. You should change your username and come up with some positive one.
Don't worry about the weght if you are comfortable in it. You can lose your weight if you want to, Venus just did.

Or if its not hurting your health don't worry about it.
I am most likely the heaviest person here at LL.
I used to be athletic before becoming disabled almost 2 decades ago.
I gained over 200 pounds whilst suffering from partial paralysis and medication.
I have lost 100, but want to lose about 130 more, taking it slow, no more than a few pounds a month.
Be the best you that you can.
Be happy with yourself no matter what weight.

Believe me, people will not pay much attention to your weight when you do not let it stop you from being you!
People who cannot accept you as you are are simply afraid they might gain weight.
Its not you, its them with the hangup!
Plus you have your youth on your side!
I have 20 years on you! My husband is only 5 years older than you and when we met
almost 11 years ago, he saw past my weight and disabilities and more.
Let your personality shine! And like I said, you have a very nice friendly pretty face!
Posture, and attitude, and love yourself!

Thank you for your caring words!
I count each day as a blessing even though I still struggle
for some normalcy in my life.
A few rare type strokes and osteoarthritis have brought on
more neurological episodes, but blessedly the large muscle group
paralysis has responded to meds and a tens unit,
plus chiropractic and pressure point therapy.
It is not easy for my dear husband, as on the bad days he must help me alot.
It is his daily care which has made it so I can function somewhat normal,
and not be bedridden.
My chiropractor taught him how to do a few things and how to use the tens unit.
Whenever I awake from time to time blind, he can work a few accupressure points and my vision returns in a few minutes.
People see me with cane and or walker or days when my face droops on one side from palsy,
and a few have wondered why I don't just end it all. Some have been cruel and disgusted or even laughed at me.
They do not understand that life is still wonderful and worth living!
I feel sorry for them and people like them.
They never stop to think that such misfortune could befall them too.
Yes I'd love to be fit and athletic again,
but despite being disabled,
I am emotionally/psychologically happier then I was back then.
I do not take anything for granted.
I am truly blessed!
