Madame T!! I would Kill for a Potato The 25-day detox/cleanse is over on Tuesday night (no potatoes allowed). On Wednesday, I'm having everything that was a no-no!! Orange juice, corn, tea with *caffeine*, and yogurt -- and I already bought my reward for making it thru the entire 3-1/2 weeks: Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate squares Mel, is that offer of some Kombucha tea still open?? Are you culturing it yourself from the mushroom?? IP: Logged |

Mme Z, Congratulations on the 25 day detox/cleanse!! How are you feeling? Besides like you want to eat every "bad" non cleansing thing in sight. Yeah, I took two baked potatoes home from work tonight because they were going to get tossed anyway and i havent gone grocery shopping yet this week. A little butter, broccoli and cheese on top and YUM! Ooo sorry, i'll stop now. lol"OK, I'll be the Party Tent :-D" Awesome! I promise to clean up in the morn. And I was only teasing about you teasing me. The comment came from me simply not being able to believe my eyes and your offer - too good to be true - thought i needed a pinch. I wish I had a picture of the shower curtain I had in my old apartment. You wouldve LOVED it for sure! It was made up of very large patchwork squares, silky and similar to the piece you posted above, but more of an oriental type design. It was the inspiration piece for my bathroom, which i then decorated with buddha statues and lotuses and bamboo plants and things of that nature and painted a teal color similar to the one in that piece of fabric you posted above. OH patchwork quilts!! I so want to learn how to make quilts!! Could you teach pixie and I how to use our sewing machines plz? So, you want the old birthtime/place eh? That's all? Okay, you got it! Actually I thought you already had it, lol I'll send it off to you soon. Yes, I vaugely remember that thread.... Now listen. You Libras are always concerning yourselves with "balance"....i say you three Air Venusians could use a little Earth Venusian in the bunch. In fact, what you said gave me a visual of this: with a Taurus on the ground holding your strings together. I think it's a perfect balance! I am here for you three, as your "rock", so you dont get "carried away" with the winds of change. See? Taurus, stability, fixed sign...you need me more than you know. IP: Logged |

(**turns bullhorn on**) "GOOD MORNING CAMPERS, UP 'N AT 'EM, GET THE LEAD OUT!!!"Today after breakfast (**must have immediate discussion about who's going into town for more vittles**) we have lots of activities to choose from -- for the waterlovers: Or we could run over to the nearby hot springs and soak there..... And for the hikers: And the ones who'd rather sit on their rump while something else does all the work: Oh, and Happy Mothers Day to all us moms <3 <3 <3 IP: Logged |

I had a dream about scones last night, eating my way thru dozens of them (probably because I can't have wheat flour products for several more days ) -- but Ms Wheels, what on earth is "clotted cream??" After reading the description of how it's made it still sounds disturbingly dubious, but it sure LOOKS good ;-)) quote: Now listen. I understand your train of thought Tbird, but this is more MY concept of that situation: I'm not sure that you weigh enough to keep you (and the rest of us) Earthbound, from skyrocketing to the stratosphere with the Libran Air Brigade IP: Logged |

Lovely tattoo Fiery (lovely legs also!)Helloooo Zala!! How's tricks? quote: What is that young man to your right doing in the pic of you and Mr Wheels with the storm-kettle?? Ms Zala would be very interested in joining a group that smokes a peace(something) around the campfire late in the evening….. ;-))
That's Gemini man. He lovely man. You'd have loved a piece of his birthday cake then (made by Mr W). It was Gem's 30th, which was why we were camping in the first place. The cake was a regular chocolate sponge but with a...difference. I rather messed it up for myself because I had the thinnest sliver of it and passed out half an hour later. Missed the entire night! D'oh! Totally with you on the brocade Zala. I like all the heavy brocade 1970's curtains that you can pick up from charity shops. We should make a Quilter's Corner thread like 'Stitch and B!tch' or something. I totally love the balloon image of 3 librans and the Taurean earthing them. Have a lot of time for Taurean ladies. They are solid. IP: Logged |

firey, quote: What does 'kumbaya' in the song "Kumbaya, my Lord" mean?-------------------------------------------"Kumbaya, my Lord" started out in the 1920s as a Gullah spiritual sung on the islands of South Carolina between Charleston and Beaufort. Gullah is the creole featured in the Uncle Remus series of Joel Chandler Harris and the Walt Disney production of "Song of the South." "Come by here, my Lord" in Gullah is "Come by (h)yuh, my lawd" (see our Gullah dictionary). American missionaries probably took the song to Angola after its publication in the 1930s, where its origins were forgotten. In the late 1950s the song was rediscovered in Angola and returned to North American where it swept the campfire circuit as a beautiful and mysterious religious lyric. That is why the song is associated with Angola in many current printed versions. http://www.alphadictionary.com/articles/english_grammar_style/kumbaya.html
I think Melody has a guitar. One of mine broke during one of my many moves. And I sold my dobro. Sorry. I might have brought my harmonica though. Will check. IP: Logged |

Lol WheelsYeah, so I was planning on learning Crazy Train as my first song not authored by me, but um, ok, Kumbuyah. My summer assignment... to learn a little of each. I kind of like the invocation of God idea. But I'm totally telling my buddies it was Crazy Train... so I better learn the intro to that first...
