This show was moved to prime time due to its popularity. In this episode, London-born Jerry examines his family history against a disturbing backdrop of fascist oppression.

There is a full synopsis online, not sure if the video segments are going to be workable, they didn't for me, but I managed to catch the whole show before the Beeb took it down.

In a previous episode of the show, Stephen Fry visited the place from which his grandparents were transported to their death. He says: it's that effin' word, Aushwitz.

The next day I read some viewer's comments on the Beeb's website. Someone was complaining about the swear word as they would no longer be able to watch a recording with their grandchildren. It boggled my mind.

On his episode, Stephen visits his grandparents' former apartment. People living there had put up a plaque in memory of the elderly people taken from the building by the Nazis. The concierge, as I recall, said he was the first descendant to visit. And there he was, with a T.V crew, broadcasting to millions.

Everything points to Neptune -:

The spiritual quest of Mars in Pisces Trine Neptune. Maybe it is part of a Grand Trine with the Moon. That could explain why his journey has been romanticised/captured the imagination of many - depending on your point of view. Also, the mini-triangle with Uranus/Pluto Trine Venus.

The T-Square with Moon/Mercury/Jupiter. We are not looking at a person motivated by self-preservation, or really, common sense, either.

Saturn is hiding. Maybe he is Trine the Moon, but I don't think so. It could easily be out of orb. I have Moon Trine Saturn. I recently went climbing in the Scottish mountains. I took a map, a compass, a mobile phone, emergency rations and a freelance guide. Saturn could be a singleton.

The position of the Moon could potentially make a Kite shape on the chart. There is a cradle present.

Chris McCandless has a Neptune heavy chart, I found out when I astro-snooped (though I don't have a time or place of birth). But inconveniently, I couldn't make Neptune out of his name. But he has Mars in Pisces, and a full name with lots of handy words in it. If only there was a U.

Wow can I identify with that Saturn in the 11th description. Probably because of my Leo Moon I don't at all equate denial or rejection with love, but I could relate to the rest. I also have Venus in Cap, so that reinforces my caution and pessimism.

I'd be interested in hearing more of what Herbst has to say about Jupiter in the 11th. It may help me decide if Jupiter belongs there or in the 10th.

I know you mentioned on my 11th house thread that you identify more with Mars in the 3rd. I can see its placement in the 4th fitting as well. I guess it depends on how you view the 4th. I don't think of it as just the home in the outer world, but as your inner home. It's how you feel at the deepest part of yourself. So if you have Mars on your 4th house cusp (with equal house), then at your core you'd be a martial type. A fighter and survior, with some fire in yer belly. And since you're a Gemini sun, the way you express that inner fire is in your thinking and communication.

Also, I've found that people almost always express the planets in their 3rd house in their immediate environment. With Mars in your 3rd, I would think that you'd more willingly and freely share your aggression with the outer world, instead of keeping it primarily to yourself.

Mars in your 4th, otoh, would be similar energy to your Moon-Pluto conjunction. The times when your aggression does come out, you may feel like it's coming out too forcefully because of how your Mars squares your Asc. To other people, your reactions may not seem excessive. But to you, it seems too forceful b/c that Mars square to your Asc pushes you to expressing outwardly what all the other parts of you would like to control and keep private . Moon conj Pluto, Scorpio Asc, Saturn trine Moon, and Mars (possibly) in the 4th would prefer NOT to express you aggression with others. But you're "meant" to express it--what you have to say needs to be heard--and that square is forcing you to share that fire with your environment.

Sorry, I got a little carried away there with my interpretation....
