Now I'm happy, I kept trying to remember where I had seen this: quote: Soulmates always have a powerful composite chart. That is, their composite chart is not scattered—it contains plenty of strong aspects and connections. The Sun and Moon are generally strongly aspected (not necessarily with each other); and similar patterns exist with the other personal planets—Venus, Mercury, and Mars.
http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/soulmateastrology.html Though I think soulmates is an over used word on LL, and also, I confess I've never bothered much with composites. However, I tend to think the principle holds true for synastry as well as composites. That is to say, patterns tend to jump out of charts of significant relationships. Grand Trine, Kite, Mystic Rectangle, Grand Square, Grand Cross ~ they've all appeared on my personal charts. T-Square and overlapping Stellia, also, I think I would included them, I have an example of one with each parent. Oh, and a Cradle with my brother, which always amuses me, so apt. This an observation rather than a rule.

BM, too much of a coward to ask this on your other thread but on the Astrodienst chart, what colour are these aspects? Are they the black scary looking ones?Ta! IP: Logged |

They're the dotted black lines ~ at least on the default style Astrodienst they are ... Normally they are listed in the grid, the sign for Sesquiquadrate is a square with a semi-square cut through it at the bottom. IP: Logged |

Attractiveness ....This subject appears at infrequent intervals, call me a cynic but I think there may be an element of narcississm involved. Not evident here, this is more philsophical. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/016001.html IP: Logged |

That was our introduction. It takes some skill to offend a forum full of women. At first I thought it was me, being quick to take offence (Scorpio Rising Square Mars). But.

What's your inner animal? http://www.quizilla.com/quizzes/7915467/whats-your-inner-animal
quote:
Fox Animal: Fox. Name: Kori. Personality: You are a loner but if you can, you will be around others. You generally prefer silence but you can also be very energetic. But no matter how your feeling that day, you will always be a ‘now’ type of person. You do everything then and there. You never give up and are always pushing yourself to the limit. Wish: You wish to one-day get to the max. That you no longer have to work so hard. That you can just relax and look at everything you’ve done. Friends: Your friends with few people but somehow you just attract people to you and you become friends. You have enemies because your very straight-forwards towards people. You like having your friends with you, but you will never admit it. Color: You like bright colors, red, yellow and orange. Colors that represent life. Stone: Garnet. Hobbies: You should take a bubble bath. Relax and enjoy life, don’t just push through it. You’re both physically and mentally strong, you just have to learn how to apply them both together to reach the maximum you can do. Quote: “Never give up, for around the next corner, your life might change forever.” –Quote I read somewhere. “Do not be ‘against’ anything, being ‘against’ wakens you. Be ‘for’ what you want, being ‘for’ empowers you.” –Another quote I read. “You never lose until you quite trying.” –A quote I read that came from a different source then the other two.

blue ~ quote: In my youth, I had a gentleman admirer with this aspect [Uranus conj Asc]. He had razor green eyes and heavily tattooed arms (including his name on his knuckles). I took him home to meet my parents, but this attempt to annoy them backfired because they liked him, they said he was a "nice, polite lad". My mother said he was too good for me.
Your sense of humor slays me!!! (that's a good thing ) I love your library here, blue!! I have hundred of LL bookmarks -- if you're interested in browsing them for inclusion here, please let me know..... IP: Logged |

Zala, yes please, let's have some more links! The more the better, so handy for when people ask questions that have already been given great answers, and I find the anecdotal evidence very helpful.

Solar/Leonine humour Traditionally the teller of jokes and not the self-depreceating kind. Examples: Snobby, self-important view of the world ~> Patricia Routledge as Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced Bouquet) - Leo M.C Self-involved monologues ~> Ronnie Corbett - Leo ASC Self-obssessed ~> Tim Curry as Frank-N-Furter - Leo ASC Superior sneering ~> Kenneth Williams - Leo ASC Dress-up ~> David Walliams on Little Britain ~ Sun/Moon/Venus in Leo Master and Servant ~> Jeeves and Wooster Stephen Fry as Jeeves ~ Virgo Sun Hugh Laurie as Wooster ~ Leo Sun Moon/Cancerian humour
Sarcastic, self-protecting; cutting in a defensive, snappy manner. Taps into the public mood, finds the slapstick and crazy in everday behaviour, sitcoms as an example. quote: the great raconteurs have important Moon (right-brain placements). These anecdotes often originate from a deeper understanding of human natuer (Mercury links, juggles and connects; the Moon provokes and emotional response, demands an reaction and moves its audience with pathos and empathy)
Lunar comedians Bob Hope ~> Moon/Venus in Cancer Charlie Chaplin ~> Moon rising in Scorpio David Jason ~> Moon rising in Sag Lucille Ball ~> Moon rising (also Sun Square Mars for phsyical humour)
