Well then, goodie for us that more news has been revealed today a little over an hour ago.

The parents of the 33 year old mother (who probably shouldn't be talking to the press) told the press that her daughter has always been obsessed with having children since she was a teenager.

At first I thought this was just the mother enjoying spilling the beans to the press (people begin to enjoy the press attention when they're not used to it like celebrities). Most young girls fantasize about becoming mothers, but astrology gives one clue in the octuplets chart.

In all of the charts natal Pluto is quindecile (165 degree strong aspect) the IC. The IC represents the mother and the early childhood home. Pluto rules obsession and THE NATURE OF THE QUINDECILE ASPECT IS OBSESSION.

Now, whether it suggests that the mother is obsessed or the children are obsessed can be determined by conversations with the children, however I'm pretty dang sure those children will be obsessed with their mother because it looks like they won't ever get the proper amount of attention from her. How could they possibly when they have to share their mother with 13 other children and no father.

One thing the grandmother said is that she told her daughter when the children come home, she won't be there.

THAT gives a tremendous amount of insight right there about the household the mother grew up in. Hmm...maybe not, but the obsession thing sounds right whether it's for the new mother or the children.

I'm guessing with all the talk about talk about who is going to help raise the child financially, I bet some religious organization will step up to the plate and help finance the child or something. And those other six kids can say goodbye to their own childhoods, at least the older ones right now.

Really interesting stuff, I just saw the new update on it as well, Geo.
Do you really think that there might be something cult-like about the whole thing?
I realize she was obsessed with having kids...but when you said it might be something cult-oriented, I got a chill down my spine.

Hi MVM,

I don't know if it's really a cult thing, I was just doing some stream of thought thinking. The thing is, we won't really know anything until it's the actual mother speaking. It seems to me that the parents are trying to clarify things and they are overwhelmed by the press. The press are probably asking a lot of leading questions and for people who don't deal with the press on a regular basis, they don't know how to handle themselves.

I think I'm going to wait until the mother finally says something out of her own mouth. I'm finding myself obsessed with every bit of information that comes, as are a lot of other people I'm noticing and we just don't know what's true. At least I'm not alone. The whole thing is just so unbelievable, know what I mean?

It's finally beginning to come out. I haven't seen any interviews with the mother but apparantly she has given some and people who have seen the interviews are saying that it's like a nightmare. No companies are offering endorsements and even though some TV Networks are considering her for a reality show like another current family who has multiple children, they are still assessing what this woman's life is like.

The question is, who will watch a TV show of a potential crazy person raising infants. You wouldn't find any sponsors for something like that. As much as I claim that I don't like reality shows, it can be a fun guilty pleasure, but watching a crazy person raise infants isn't fun at all, it's tragic.

I found this story tonight on MSN.com and there's a video with it if you watch find the story before they remove the video. It's about her having hired a publicist. Here is it:

LOS ANGELES - Where is the lifetime supply of diapers, formula and baby wipes? The free van? The brand-new house?

Women who give birth to six, seven or eight babies are often showered with dazzling gifts from big corporations, local businesses and strangers. But that is not happening with the Southern California mother who delivered octuplets last week.

The news that she is a single mother with six other children — and that all 14 were conceived by having embryos implanted — seems to have turned off many people, and companies are not exactly rushing to get publicity by piling on the freebies.

Nadya Suleman, 33, has been lambasted by talk-show hosts, fertility experts, even her own mother, who has her hands full taking care of Suleman’s other children, ages 2 to 7.

‘I think it’s a calamity’
A veteran Hollywood publicist said Suleman’s handlers have their work cut out for them in trying to win public sympathy for her.

“I think it’s a calamity,” said publicist David Brokaw, who has handled crises for celebrities. “I don’t see, the way this is shaped, how you can say much about it in terms of something favorable.”

Makers of diapers, formula and other products would probably want to steer clear of her, Brokaw said. He suggested she lie low for now and concentrate on crafting an image as a responsible parent.

Gerber spokesman David Mortazavi said that if the baby-food maker was planning to do something for the family, it probably would have done it already, and that the octuplets’ birth was not on Gerber’s radar. He would not elaborate.

Procter & Gamble spokeswoman Tricia Higgins said that the maker of Pampers does not actively seek out parents to sponsor, but that the octuplets’ mother can ask for what is typically provided in multiple births: a jumbo pack of diapers for each child, baby wipes, and coupons for discounts. That is unlikely to last Suleman a week.

Conservative radio talk show host Bill Handel in Los Angeles, who has branded the births “freakish,” said on the air Tuesday that people are ready to boycott any corporations that help the octuplets or their mother.

Some offer support
Suleman’s spokesman Mike Furtney said that he has received some “fairly negative” comments from the public but that offers to help with the babies have come in from nurses, and some baby stores have stepped forward to volunteer their support.

“I don’t remember the brand name, but one major disposable diaper company sent some diapers,” he said. Furtney said he was confident that once Suleman tells her story, many of her critics will “readjust their thinking a little.”

Furtney said Suleman has had offers for TV and other media deals, but he added it was too early to discuss how much money she might receive.

For a single mother, the cost of raising 14 children through age 17 ranges from $1.3 million to $2.7 million through age 17, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The Suleman octuplets’ medical costs have not been disclosed, but the average cost for just one cesarean birth in 2006 was $22,762 in California. The Suleman babies were born nine weeks premature. In California, a single premature birth in 2006 led to an average hospital stay of 25 days and cost $164,273. That would amount to a $1.3 million bill for eight.

Suleman’s income is unclear. She was employed by a mental hospital from 1997 through 2008.

‘We heard a lot of outrage’
Nasty callers dominated the phone lines in the first few days after the octuplets were born at Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center.

“We heard a lot of outrage because there was a vacuum of information and people were going on rumor and conjecture,” said hospital spokeswoman Socorro Serrano.

But calls of encouragement, particularly from mothers of multiples, have also poured in, along with offers of hand-me-downs and tips, Serrano said.

In 1998, Nkem Chukwu of Houston became the first mother to give birth to octuplets in the U.S. The family lives in a donated, six-bedroom suburban home, and the stay-at-home mom had a small army of volunteers help feed and care for the seven surviving babies for the first few years.

The parents of the McCaughey septuplets — seven babies born in Iowa in 1997 — received a donated 16-room house, a 15-passenger van, baby food from Gerber, and a lifetime supply of Pampers from Procter & Gamble.

The stars of The Learning Channel’s reality show “Jon and Kate Plus 8,” about a couple with sextuplets and twins, are paid, and have received a slew of freebies through the show, including trips to Hawaii and New York, a tummy tuck for mom and hair plugs for dad.

TLC President Eileen O’Neill said production companies that work with TLC have already made offers to Suleman’s family, but the network is waiting to see how TV-friendly the family is.

“We’re certainly like the rest of America; we’re waiting to see how this develops,” O’Neill said. “The number of children or scale of the multiples is intriguing, but it also comes down to what are the family’s lives like?”

this is why i advocate the pill, abortion and therapy, to avoid having children growing deprived of the love, nurturing and support they need from a family.
Therapy bc this woman is nuts...14 kids by implantation!!!! That's nuts. Poor kids.

Thanks, MVM. Yeah, I've heard it called VD Day also. Especially when I was in Junior High School. But it's still funny.

I've told a few people. It's funny because I don't really push myself out there as an astrologer under my own name. Also, the organization I work for is a religious organization and I don't want to be questioned about it in a social way because I tend to NOT defend astrology.

Interestingly, I don't like astrology. Isn't that strange. If I had a choice of a prognostication talent, I'd prefer that it be strongly psychic, but I'm not a strong psychic so astrology has to do. But I grew up in a very NON-RELIGIOUS household, very mundane-reality oriented. I even grew up cynical about religion, so by the time I opened up to spirituality, I had nothing to judge it by and nothing to make me feel guilty. I was truly allowed to find my own way spiritually.

As for astrology, in my core I'm still one of those people who is a skeptic about it, always hated the horoscopes in the newspaper because it never matched what was going on in my life. Maybe 2 or 3 times a year it would, but not enough to merit daily following. But the most amazing thing about growing up without superstition, God or mythological symbols, is that when I began to study astrology in a serious way, the symbols didn't just speak to me, THEY SCREAMED AT ME!!!

So I don't read from a mythological standpoint. I think my natal Mercury-Saturn conjunction suggests my intolerance of mythology. I could never understand it because it just didn't make linear sense. I must think in a linear, rules oriented way. I'm the same way with poetry, I just don't get it most of the time. I really need to spend time with each poem, each Shakespeare sonnet or play in order to truly understand it. I'm actually jealous of people who learn by osmosis, the ones with Pisces on the 9th House, that would be awesome to have.

Anyway, what was the question?

Oh, do people on my job know I'm an astrologer? A select few, after all I haven't really had a chance to meet everyone in a social way.

Oh, I do like astrology, it's just that I was such a skeptic for years, it's hard to let go. I still feel that astrology is the "bast@rd child" of the prognostication arts and it's hard for me to let go of that. But I should just be glad that I have some kind of prognostication talent and just get over which skill God gave me. I should be grateful, ya know.
