Tell me please, Lexx, if you have any knowledge of mine, and remember, no holding back, I'm a tough cookie...

I wanted to mention, there is a really good film, it's called, 'Dead Again', starring Kenneth Branaugh and Emma Thompson. WOW, I just watched it again, because of this thread.

It's great because it shows how gender roles do flip, and it shows the dark side (as well as light) of remembering what happened and seeking out those you once knew. I don't know how much press this film got, but I really recommend it to anyone who has interest in this...

In one part of the film, the couple says, "they are each half of one whole."

If you think on that logically, wouldn't your "other half/twin/whatever we call it" HAVE to be once a male and once a female?
Otherwise, how could they know the complete all of the whole that is both of you? Does that make sense?

And Lexx, your drawings look like aliens hybrid with cats. That is how they look to me, but I'm wondering if you have such an affinity for cats in this life because of something you remember from another??

You are a great teacher, Lexx, and a great person to converse with. You have a wonderfully open mind, and a wealth of knowledge. I don't think people tell people what they think of them enough, and if they did, the world would be a much nicer place..

But then, I've always been called the dreamer. still.. to you...!

Oh yes! "Dead Again"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I must have watched it a dozen times or more to date!
As to if I pick up anything about you, yes I will tell.
So far it is only quick flashes.
I see your eyes a lot, and it is you looking up at me, and you are an adult woman, I know it was you,in a few lifetimes, not just one.
Laughter, I hear happy laughter, gentle laughter too!
I will let you know when I get more on it all. It makes me smile someplace deep within myself.

Well, so far I do not buy into the "other half" concept. I do think the twin concept may have some validity if the two were actually real physical twins as myself and my beloved have been. But not twin souls.
As to having been gender switched, yes I think that amplifies things but is not required. My beloved of now, was a woman and I a man who were lovers and were brutally murdered in 1737 in Scotland.

Hmmmmm....never really noticed the cat aspect.....perhaps you have hit upon something important for me.
I do not think there were any cats on Earth when I was looking like that however.
I do love cats though!

You are my teacher too! The student is always the teacher as the teacher is always the student. That is what makes for a great teacher!
LOL!
I try to keep an open mind! However not so open that my common sense falls out! LOL!
I think you are a great person to converse with also!
quote:
I don't think people tell people what they think of them enough, and if they did, the world would be a much nicer place..
Indeed!
That is one thing the Dale Carnegie courses teach!
Hmmmmmmmm......maybe I should start a thread to do that!
Grrrrrrrrrr.....wanted more smileys in this post but ran over the limit! LOL!

Posting glitch, so instead of leaving it, am re-posting from page 11 some pictures and so forth.

Ancient Denmark....
I was a young androgynous albino

sacrificed
by men a bit like these...

after having my back broken and paralyzed from neck down.

I had these memories surface when I was not quite 4 years old.
I have since met one of the men, and we are friends nowadays.
He recognized me and freaked out at the sudden intense bursting forth of memories.
He and I have shared many lifetimes.
No, never as mates.
I was his teacher many times and he tried to save me from being sacrificed or executed in other times.

Weird...posting glitching again........
So adding re-posts here too from page 11.

posting glitch...........
So will re-post pictures from page 11 rather than leave it as is.

Here is a place which I have intense memories of.

The Great Serpent Mound is located near Locust Grove, Ohio. Built between

100 B.C. - A.D. 700, by what is thought to be the Adena Cultures.

This sculpted mound of earth is 1348 feet long, 20 feet wide and 2 feet-6 inches high.

LEXX, I saw that past life image you posted earlier today but didn't get a chance to comment because I was busy.
No problem!
I am often unable to reply in full immediately after reading a post.
quote:
I get a really strong water vibe off it, like you were spending a lot of time on ships. A seafarer maybe?
LOL!
Yes, many times!
quote:
I don't know if it's just this image alone which speaks to me or if it triggers other stuff, but I get something with boats, ships, sailing, water and the like.
You are definitely picking up on much of my past lives!
quote:
But it's like you were a person who liked the carefree lifestyle and at the same time you were very philosophical about life in general. Something about you sort of didn't mesh with your environment, you were set apart because of your high intelligence which you didn't like to hide lol.
LOL! I am laughing because that fits very well with a few and one time in particular!
quote:
I also see a lot of artistic talent in this life, and there wasn't a lot of opportunity to really 'study' it in a formal way, but more in like a hands-on way. Writing poetry alone, drawing privately, etc.
That fits several lifetimes very well.
quote:
I feel you weren't really too connected to anyone in this life, like you 'stood alone' somehow. But you were happy with it, it was a kind of simple life in the sense that pleasures were simple but you were very reflective and able to just enjoy these simple things on a profoundly deep level and they really stirred your soul.
That fits very well several times I remember well!

Funny thing is many of my lives were in the desert too....and they are like oceans of sand, and the camel is known as the ship of the desert.

quote:
I have no idea if that makes sense at all.
It made a whole lot of sense!
Thank you for confirmation!

I really love seeing into people's past lives... it's like a form of personal time travel
Indeed it is!

I do think I have something prominent in Greece though, something with priestess work. Or something at a temple with a bunch of other women hanging out lol.
Any chance that it was in about 16 BCE? Or perhaps 6 CE.

I had the trippiest dream a few months ago where I was on a mountain top in Greece, just doing some kind of humble priestess or whatever work in a courtyard which somehow looked down on the sea. It was around sunset and I looked down at the water and saw a boat sailing through the water and felt all excited.
Like anticipation!?

The WEIRD part is the SAME night my boyfriend dreamed he was in a boat in the sea, in Greece, looking UP at a little building on the mountaintop. I was like WHAAAAAAT?! It was so freaky to hear - I hadn't even told him my dream!
Cool! It sounds like you knew each other in that time and place!

I also think I was definitely burned at the stake maybe more than once for witchcraft or different religion or something, because I've had several dreams about those. Those were scary.
Same here. Yes, very scary! I think my executions were for scaring the fools and religious fanatics with my scientific theories which terrified the narrow minded morons.

I will tell if I do pick up anything!
Do you have a picture of yourself posted?
If not, you could send it to me in private.
My e-mail is at Labors Of Love forum on top left of index page.
I can often "see" better with a picture to help me focus on a person.

LOL! That may have been me with the horses!!

IDK, Kiss is 7 hours ahead of us, so she's probably sleeping.
But, I had that in the notes from the post that got wiped out.

That I saw you hit by a horse drawn carriage, and the driver didn't stop.
Something with your leg....and I don't know if you kept the leg or not, but you were bedridden and then never walked right again.

Or, you weren't walking right in what I saw, let's put it that way, I can't really say "ever" again, but it was implied.

I also felt like you were a midwife.

There are more, but I'm sitting in the dark, woken by a crazy craving for a Dorito!
So, I'll tell you tomorrow.
Hope you get to feeling better.

Morning, ladies. Yes, I was asleep

LEXX, horses, ah... When I was 12, I got absolutely mad about horses and horse riding. I read about horses and I painted horses( in oil, still have all of them in my parent's flat), and I dreamt horses, and I begged my mother to let me have riding lessons, and my mother refused categorically and it broke my heart! For the next few years I was inconsolable and never forgave my mother for that. Then it just ended and I never felt the same about horses and now I wouldn't even come near one. But they used to be BIG love in my early life. When I was about 3-4, I used to beg my mother to give me a little brother or sister, and when she refused, I asked her to buy me at least a white horse, LOL! We lived in a small city apartment and I never saw a live horse at that point in my life!

I am gobsmacked you brought it up!

Hi Lexx! I just love the pictures you put up of yourself. You do look like Johnny Depp (so does your beloved )

I have some intense feelings while looking at your water cat people drawings. I got the gooseflesh, and a "trance shiver" (I call it that cause I don't know what it is, so I gave it a name. It's when I go into a quick trance, and get the hair standing up all over my body, and then snap right back out.)

WHITE HORSE! That was what I was hoping you would say.
In your childhood dreams and thoughts of horses what were some of the feelings, thoughts and so forth?
Are you afraid of them now? Or just became resigned over not having one?
And a curious question.....
in times past, even ancient times;
when female, do you think you would dress like a man or woman?
Would you prefer pants or leggings over skirts or dresses?
Do you think you would have just ridden horses or do you feel you may have been a trainer or handler, like in charge of horses in a caravan on the ancient trade routes betwixt Spain and China and all the countries in between? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silk_Road

LEXX,
" WHITE HORSE! That was what I was hoping you would say."

Why White? I have just realised the only horse i rode was White. And I have an oil painting (by myself when I was 12)of a white horse on a white canvas. And I asked my M to get me a White horse if I couldn't have a sibling.

"In your childhood dreams and thoughts of horses what were some of the feelings, thoughts and so forth?"

I was totally obsessed, I was breathing horses!

"Are you afraid of them now? Or just became resigned over not having one?"

Afraid.

"in times past, even ancient times
when female, do you think you would dress like a man or woman?
Would you prefer pants or leggings over skirts or dresses?"

Definitely pants and leggings over dresses, always!

"Do you think you would have just ridden horses or do you feel you may have been a trainer or handler, like in charge of horses in a caravan on the ancient trade routes betwixt Spain and China and all the countries in between?"

In charge, not just riding. They spoke to me!

Why that particular region, LEXX? What made you pick up on it?
