ABC;Maybe he feels just as nervous to approach you as you do him? Men take rejection just as bad as we do. He could take some cues from you maybe, and that would/could prompt him to take action. Try a little light flirting to feel him out and see what happens. Good Luck! Keep me posted. IP: Logged |

TOMORROW is going to be exciting, I find out the sex of my daughters baby @ 12:45!!!AND it is my sons 14TH birthday!!! My little baby boy, is....gulp 14! He has so many girlfriends it's ridiculous!!!! He told me the other week, that he is saving his money, cause when he turns 18 he is getting a tattoo. He then showed me a sketch of it. It is a giant cross with my name in Italian written in a banner that weaves all around the cross. He wants it on his back. I know. I cried. Then tomorrow night, we go down to a little town we call "Halloweenville" because the whole town is nothing but shops of Halloween stuff. They have all kinds of things to see and do, and eat! So this should be interesting since I have the flu. If nobody hears from me by, say, Monday, just know the excitement killed me, but that is OKAY, cause it was probably worth it!!!!!! I will take pics, but unless somebody posts them, well, you know how that goes. ugg. IP: Logged |

Thank You ladies for your congrats. I am completely planning to dominate and take over in the competition for my new Grandsons affections with my rival (cue scary organ music) The Dreaded Other Grandma. Actually she seems like a nice lady, but she is OUT there. Anywhoo, she has 5 kids, and another grandbaby due 3 mos after mine, so I figure, time wise, I'll have more to give him. Let's seeeee......other grandma is a Leo, and I'm a Sag, baby should be a Fish, if born close to due date. I think I have a better chance..... hahahahahah Anyway, back to bed with my dog and the flu. I called my doctor, just to whine, mind you, and she said, rather huffily, I might add....."It's perfectly normal and common to have the flu for 6-8 weeks. I've seen a bad flu take a person down for a whole season!" OKAAAAAYYYY, someone is a lil stressed at work. Course we have a HUGE outbreak of swine flu in Ohio. YAY! Hope you're all well... Wow, I haven't posted in my own thread for a month. Geez, this is what the flu will do to you. Hope everyone got a flu shot (I did not ~ brainiac)Something, GOD only knows what, urged me to look up transits yesterday. Yeah, wish I never did that!!! *crawls back under fuzzy blankie with even fuzzier dog, will be back in 2011, when Saturn is done having his way with me* IP: Logged |

Well I hope you've registered your interest in what the little chap calls you. The maternal grandparent gets first pick, according to my mother. Therefore she claimed "Grandma" first, while the other one gets to be called "Nana" (which my mum hated because she thinks it sounds old - I'm like "Hello? Grandma doesn't?"). Actually there were four grandmothers in the mix, as my Dad got remarried and so did the other granddad, so my Dad's wife is called Nanji, the other granddad's wife is Nanny. You following? It's tricky and political, and I suggest you do what my mother did, get in there first before the other b!tch does, and if necessary use nails and hair-pulling. IP: Logged |

Thank You "Charm"LOL. Wheels, once upon a time I might have cared. But, I don't. The other "b*tch" (lol, I see you've met her somehow) claimed "Mimi" as soon as the test was positive. Whatever... I noticed with my kids, they made up their own names, no matter what my parents, or the other Grandparents wished to be called. So to this day, one poor step-grandma is still called "Gee" rhymes with "sea" because that is what my daughters little mouth could pronounce. And of course, it stuck!! "Crazy-grammie" would be fine. lol. IP: Logged |

Boy, I tell you these are strange days.I did mention my crappy transits right? Today my bird died, totally unexpected I might add. That is tough to have your little daughter come up to you cradling a dead bird. But like it was discussed in T's thread, it was like I was watching a movie of it, I was the actor, but in no way related to the reality of it. Just weird. Normally, when a pet dies, I get really depressed [[ wow, I am having major deva-vu? did I already write this somewhere else? }} and cry about it, and let the kids cry and have the whole get it out of our system burial thing. But, nothing, just blank. Very weird. Then I got a text message from someone who I was hoping desparately to hear from for days now, and the text came in at 11:11pm. Which got me to wondering about my numbers for sure, so I dug out an old numerology book that I have, and just as I suspected, as of my bday last week, I am currently in and "11" year, which, I gotta admit, scares the crap out of me. So I'm thinking that this detachment feeling is perhaps some sort of defense mechanism building for the even crappier stuff to come, as suggested by my transits, and working through that master number 11. I don't know...just some randomness here. IP: Logged |

I do have them often, but not nearly as much as I used to, now that you mention it. I think I've passed it on to my son, because he is always having them.I used to be so good, though, when I lived in Italy I knew where to go, even though I'de never lived there in this life. In America I can get lost going to the store, go figure!!!!! Lately, my "talents" have been of the dream sort. My transits suggested this as well, and I am really keeping close note of them. Starkiss, where did you go? I know you don't like to put yourself "out there" much, but I admire your astrological insights, and you helped me see something about a person without you even knowing it. I would love to pick your brain sometime. Do you e-mail, or have a myspace? Well, either way, I'm here, and knowing that you haven't left us is comforting. Should you mysteriously disappear before the holiday, know that I wish you the very best, and a joyous new year as well. xox IP: Logged |

I haven't spent a good amount of time here to catch up on what's happening, just biting here and there as I go by, instead.I wanted to say "Hello" and OMG, your son is the best!!! That tattoo thing is very cool. Sure, a mother probably doesn't want tats for their kids (I assume) but it is such a sweet thing, as Lucia said. Anyway, have an awesome day, and I wanted to thank you for just being around on MySpace. That is pretty cool of you because you really don't have to, but you do. And, now I am going to venture out and read your posts to get meself a laugh because you're funny. in a very good way of course. Now lemme go check on Ms wheels and AG. Later dear. IP: Logged |

Oh, Gypsee... Always feel free to say anything, anytime. Carry on with a dialogue if one exists, please! It's the whole reason I have a blog. I'd really like other people's thoughts on matters because I get so... well, you know how I get (from reading the blog) so some new perspective or even a word or two to say that you relate, really goes a long way. So, yeah... now I will be waiting for that comment, dear lady!! IP: Logged |

ok, Starkissssssss, I got it, if you want to take it down.I feel weird too. Have for awhile now. My scary transits maybe, I don't know. Seems like Saturn would like to have his way with me, and in the strangest of ways. It's been all about "the past" for awhile now. Maybe over a year or so. The ex's are coming out of the woodwork, or computer wires so to speak. I suppose I should learn to get closure properly. Some things I don't mind reliving, and other things, well, I just don't see the purpose in digging back through that stuff. I suppose figuring out the lesson is half the battle with Saturn... I wasn't a very nice person in my youth, well, I mean I wasn't horrible or evil or anything. It's just that Saggies are not really fit to be getting tied down to someone when they are young. And so, relationships TO ME were about fun and games and good times. Apparently, to some others they were about more than that, and I did a little damage here and there. So, why you must be wondering do I accept friend requests or calls what have you, from these long agos? Gullible. Cause I live in a place in my head of universal brotherhood, sort of like my own Utopia. So, when someone finds me, I get excited and only think of the good things, only remember the fun things, and imagine how cool it will be to take that trip down memory lane. Only some people are very insiduous in how they go about this. They come out of the box just that way, and when you've had 3 or 4 weeks of just talking and nonsense, they hit you up with the running list of all the careless, selfish things you said and did to them before. NICE. I even accepted one today, do I never learn? I figured, bring it on Saturn, if we got to get it done, might as well get it done this go 'round so I don't have to meet up with these angry peoples in my next life as a singing nun. *sigh* Okay, I'm done ranting now. I will most definately email and tell you what lil thing it was you said that helped me see the big picture about someone. Cause that is one really cool thing about life isn't it? We never really know who we touch and how, because most of the times they don't tell us. Well, I'm telling. This way, when I'm a singing nun, I can just walk around humming with absolutely no thoughts in my head at all. *ok, so that doesn't sound THAT radically different from this life, accept for the nun part* But, still, ya know what I mean. Universal brotherhood Utopia, lol! That is so me. Why can;t people live in loving circles of friends and be nice to each other...Yeah, right. What i am really enjoing at the mo is my little xmas tree, rainy weather for a change and feeling that i am arriving at the end of my journey and there is nothing i can do about it - what will be will be.This silly thing called life is so tiring and repetitive. Do you think i am bonkers? Merry Xmas!!!!!! Am waiting for a letter,Gyps xIP: Logged |

Nope I don't think you are bonkers, and if you are, I'm bonkers right along with you. Perhaps it's generational. So how was you Christmas? The stomach flew came into town before the sleigh, and well, it would be amusing if not for so completely Newtons Law. Nothing like opening presents and simultaneously vomitting. Makes for a great Kodak moment. I haven't forgotten to email you Star, I just haven't had the energy to do it yet. Hopefully this bug will pass quickly, so I can try to get over the other bug that I picked up in early fall. OY! I HATE BEING SICK!!! I swear if I have to look at these purple tinkerbell pajama bottoms for another minute, somebody is going down!! I know, just change them. But they're so soft!! and tinkerbellish!! IP: Logged |

Sooooo, my Brother in law (an Aries with a Cappie rising) has always been the best gift giver in the family. This year he got me a gift card to a book store that I frequent. I had quite a good time getting out of the house on Wednesday and going there. I actually got out of my jammies and put makeup on!!!! I nearly stabbed myself in the eye with the mascara wand, that is how long it's been since I've bothered with that stuff. Anyway, I got the following:The Astrological Oracle by Lyn Birkbeck----now this book is designed to be used as an oracle, but it completely covers the meaning of Sabian symbols, so I was enchanted with it. Synastry-Understanding The Astrology Of Relationships by Rod Suskin Pluto-The Soul's Evolution Through Relationships by Jeffrey Wolf Green---now this one I was kinda torn about because it is Vol. 2. They did have volume one but it was Pluto concerning something else, and right now, I'm interested in Pluto concerning relationships, BUT, now I'm worried that book 2 might continue where book 1 left off, and I will be lost. Let's hope not. Astrological Crosses in Relationships-Understanding Cardinal, Fixed & Mutable Energies by Pauline Edward Intuitive Astrology by Elizabeth Rose Campbell Saturn-A New Look at an Old Devil by Liz Greene (have to admit, I was judging that book by its cover) Symbols Of The Soul by Gina Lake So, I should have some reading material for awhile! I have to start going back for these treatments in my arms. Infusion therapy, they call it. It's done in the chemo room at The Cancer Center. Ugg. Last time I did them, it was 3 months long, and I went 3 times a week, with the IV running in my arm for an hour and 45 minutes per visit. It is NOT chemo, but it does make you pukey and lightheaded, so you can't drive yourself. Anyway, since they draw so much blood each week to check your levels of this and that PLUS the IV drip from hell, they put this sort of plastic cast type thing on your arm, it puts pressure back down on the veins, plus acts like a bandaid. I hate that thing, it restricts movement. I usually take it off and then get yelled at on my next appointment. heh heh my lil act of rebellion. IP: Logged | |
