I've been good! Life is different. There is more hope, and more smiles than usual. I have been thinking a lot about angels too. It feels like there are some opportunities for change, so I have been speaking to Universities as I am thinking of studying music. So, it's been Jupiter's handywork for me.

How have you been?

What's this induction I am hearing about at AG's thread?

I have trouble with Facebook, on this laptop (I lost all internet connectivity on my own computer, a couple of weeks ago). I was just checking in to see how things were going... will try Facebook later on, on another computer.

No baby to show yet. We are about 18 or so hours in, and they say probably no baby until tomorrow. I need toothpicks to hold open my eyelids. I'm too old for this stuff, remind me if I ever get all crazy about having another of my own, that I am TOO DAMN OLD!!

If I can't stay awake for a birth, I couldn't possibly raise one!

Ugg, anyway, just stopped home to get some comfy clothes, and a frappacino, and some DVD's for her. They have a player in the room. OH, and my sons Bob Marley blanket, because I forgot they keep hospitals at minus zero temps.

Will update when I get back. They are giving her some kinda, whassit thingy, bulb? balloon? IDK, goes into the cervix and then they double the petocin drip. All this to avoid a c-section, so insurance doesn't have to pay. Good ole' American medicine. whoo hoo!!

*I buzzed the nurse, (she actually answered!) to ask for a heating pad. My daughters ribs were bothering her. They said they would have to order one? Is this like a pizza? It's a hospital!!!! Don't you have a closet full of those things!! Have mercy! Two hours later and she still hasn't got it, so I'm bringing that too.

Maybe I'll just deliver him myself as well!!

Yes, I'm getting testy.

At the very least, you would expect a hospital to have a heating pad. I don't blame you for getting testy.

Thank You, 34 hours, and an hour of pushing.

She says she never wants another one. haha!

I think I said that after each one, she looked pretty serious about it a few hours ago!!!

Thank You, Eskimono, Oh my, but he is a cute one.

She said the Father has already developed middle of the night deafness. LMAO!

Very familiar with that!!

Anyway, she was hooked up to the I.V. and had the baby in her arms, and she needed to use the restroom. So, she was calling his name, and saying, "David, take the baby, take the baby! I have to pee!"

His response was this sleep walking thing, where she said he grabbed a blanket and shook it out, (like the baby was in it?? LOL) and said, "there you go," and promptly fell back asleep.

She had to fling assorted objects at his head to get the situation right. She IS my child, no doubts of baby switching with her!!

lol..

I think I'm gonna enjoy that one when my girl has a baby <evil grin>

My mom has her "curse" that she put on my sister and I. She says "may you have one just like YOU" lol. Well I popped out 4 and my sister 5. So much for one...

But seriously, doesn't it make you...almost want another one? almost, right? lol.
They are just so sweet when they are babies.
Then they learn how to stand and walk and it's downhill from there.

Tell her she'll spend the first two years teaching him to walk and talk and the next 16 yrs telling him to sit down and shut up!

I kinda look forward to being a grandma...not anytime soon hopefully. But you get to hold them and enjoy them....then give them back lol.

Ohhhh I'm honory today...

CONGRATS TO YOU AND YOUR BABIES!!

lol, gypsee that was a marathon. my grandson only took 12 hours....but 3 of them were pushing!

yes grandkids are great, i had a lot more to do than cuddle and give back but i wouldn't trade my relationship with him for anything...and ultimately i have way less stress than when i was a mom.

and especially the first few days it is nice to have a childless home to go back to!!

LOL, Wink, my mother cursed all of us too.

ACTUALLY, she said, "may you have a TEENAGER just like you!" I was God awful.

Ran away when I was 15 with a 25 year old. It took her a week to find me. That was just one lil thing. I used to steal their cars, OH MY!!
So, ok, one teenager down, two to go, I keep eye balling the other ones wondering which one exactly my Mother has cursed!!

KAT, it was a marathon. You know what? I am STILL shaking, it affected me that bad. Also my arms and legs feel like...I dunno, the way you feel when you've done unusual strenous exercise. I mean, I held her legs, rubbed her back. But just leaning for hours over that hospital bed has totally wiped me out. Probably mental exhaustion too.
When she was pushing, I started pushing, OMG, it's on the video!! I figured if she watched my face push, she would mirror me, which she did. Then it occurred to me, I need to be careful, I could pee my pants!! LOL! I don't think I would of noticed at that point!!

You know what Wink, it does give me baby fever.
Crazy.
What is worse? The Pisces I have been talking to loves babies, he said, "Well, if we got together like in the next year, we could still have another one!!!"

I have entertained the thought, and then I wake myself up, and say, "are you insane!!"

LOL, it's a sweet dream, but I think not. We both have grandkids, best to just stick with that!!

OOOHHHH, I creeped myself out! I watched 'Slither' on MTV or VH1 ( I forgot which one) last night. I have an irrational fear of worms! I hate them! Actually, anything with slime totally grosses me out. I felt like I was watching a train wreck, I didn't want to watch, but I couldn't stop watching. Then, they replayed it again, back to back, so I watched it twice. YUCK! What is wrong with me, I wonder??

I dreamt of purses. Tons and tons of purses. I can't analyze my own dreams though!!

Yeah, I reckon one day we will have a good laugh about it, she and I, right now, she is too sore to see any humour!

The new in-law-ish people are being pains in the rear end. They force themselves over her house with their huge tribe of unruly children, and wake the baby! Gasp! Out of his sleep, to play with him! Then wonder why he's so "fussy!" Grrrr. People can be somethin' sometimes!

She's too nice. She needs a Merc/Scorp, poor kid!!!

Grrr....

*Angsty Musing Alert*

Why, oh why, do people want to involve me in their drama??? I don't bother anyone!

The ScorpEx's brother was texting me last night, which I couldn't answer because I'm out of phone minutes.
Apparently the lot of them went out for St. Patrick's Day, to the bash that started at 6 am.

I have known this particular Scorpio for three years, and he should NOT be drinking beer at 6am!! He can drink three to my one. Hell, he can drink one whole beer in one chug! ugggg!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, he couldn't drive (oh, big surprise!) and he had to have his brother follow him and my friend home. Once there, there was some kind of scandal, who knows what, and he threw his brother out (this would be when the frantic texts were being sent <--- Like I can do anything about it, home with 4 kids and a newborn, and no car) so then the cops were sent to the brothers house AFTER he had already left peacefully.

*This is the petty stuff the ex does, "Oh, you want to dis me? Fine, I'll call the cops on you!" ???????

So, in turnabout is fair play action, the brother shows the cops the texts from Mr. Scorpio, which of course, are horrible death threat texts, and the cops say, "WELL, okaaay, and where does HE live??"

His brother wouldnt tell (go CAPS!!) and told them it would all be fine.
But, genuis #1 didn't bother to realize that when you dispatch cops to someone ELSE'S house, your adress will be known from your phone call. He called from the land line.

SOOOOO.... they showed up at his house. IDK how he got out of that one, but he did.

THEN, I get a rash of nasty emails because the brother is still my friend, and I wasn't even there!

Now he's on a plane to Hawaii, not even caring about the drama he stirred up, while the rest of us are walking about muttering under our breaths. ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHG@#!!!*&^%$$^%$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

M'kay, I feel a little better now. Thank You.

Thank You, sweetie. I didn't write you back last night since you were busy with your "paperwork."

I guess my musing is along the lines of...why does he do this??

He couldn't be bothered to respond to my text when Mandee was being induced, but yet, when his brother gives him imagined trouble, THEN he wants contact??

Is this like a way to not let go. Find something, anything to b!tch about and mail me? Pfft!!!

Anyway, it IS even sunnier out, but, after all that stuff I did yesterday, then holding and playing with the baby last night, I am wiped out.

I doubt there will be any wall washing today, or after school hoop shooting with mini-sco.

I'm working in the fam business tomorrow in Mandee's place.
So, I will be gone ALL day and part of the evening. Saturday, I have a dox appt, and then going to an event with my Mom (? I know, right?) So, if I don't talk to you, have a wonderful weekend! xoxo

(In comes the Kiss, dragging along a big machine gun, and plonks it in front of Gyps).
It's time to put this p1sser out of his misery,my girl. He doesn't know his brain from his ass IMHO. Let's shoot him and I will hide the body for you. He is not worth a sh1t.
(Fires the gun). Bye, looser.
