Taurus rising, he likes to EAT! ALOT of eating going on over there!!

His little nose even looks like a bulls, I picture steam coming out of it, if she doesn't give that bottle back.

Taurus rising, you say?
Long, drawn out birth...?

I was also hell on my poor mother, coming out almost 3 weeks late and putting her thru 20 hours of labor...we will not be rushed

I'de say so! 34 hours of labor, and one hour of pushing! My poor girl, what she went through, ugg, seriously, I never want to see that again!!

I think I'm more scarred than she is. There is something magical about birth, in that, you know you had pain, but you can't really remember the intensity of it. Good thing, or everyone would be an only child, I'de assume.

But the magical birth thing does not work for bystanders holding their daughters hand and legs for 35 hours!!!

My son was a 35 hour birth as well, only he ended up being taken by c-section, after 3 hours of pushing. He wasn't going to be rushed either! He isn't a Taurus rising though, he's a Scorp rising/sun.

Stubborn? Dramatic? I don't know. He sure is lovable though!!!

Maybe it's a fixed rising sign thing, Gypsee.... or even a fixed Mars position??? I wonder.

it makes me scared to give birth...but the more I think about it lately, the more I realize I would like to have one before it's too late......

You should, MVM, I always tell all my friends this...

Chances are once you HAVE a child, you will NEVER regret it, but, if you don't have one, you will probably (in most people I know) regret that. Just my onion.

You would be a great Mom. My mom is a Virgo, and she is very comforting in times of crisis, very good at handling situations. She's a Leo rising, so, she's proud and makes us kids feel good.
You said you were Taurus rising, Gosh, those two placements, just in general seem like the makings of a great parent.

I think I'd make a good mom too...thanks for saying I would
I am good in crisis. I was talking my mom off the emotional ledge since I was 8
Moon in the 12th house too seems to be good for that kind of stuff, I think. But I think my sun in the 5th would make me act like a kid right along with them

I'm with someone now, and I feel like things are good, though I have no idea how things will change either.... I'm by no means secure in my own life as well, so I need to wait...hopefully not too long though

There is a saying, "If you don't like the weather in Ohio, wait 15 minutes, it will change." Totally true, and this is why the Doctors make a fortune here. People get sick easy. One day you are in shorts, the next day, in a parka. lol. That would be a Saggie exaggeration, but you know...

Well, it's also been my experience that if you wait until it's the "right" time to have a kid, you never have one. There will always be a logical reason why you shouldn't, you know??

Saggie parents are weirdness packaged.
Same like your 5th stuff, I act like my kids too, and have done crazy/ridiculous things to make them laugh. I have to be the balance from them having a Cappy dad, whose immediate answer to every question, BEFORE it comes out the their mouth, is "NO!" lol.

They think I'm waaaaaay out there, and they are right, but I doubt they'll forget me when I'm gone!!

I think you'll have one, a lil boy in fact!

Are you psychic or something, Gypsee? I have been told several time (and have dreamed!) that I would have a son. It's always so weird to hear it though.... confirms a lot.

We'll see...yeah, there's always a reason to wait. On the other hand, I'm barely making ends meet these days, and Aqua and I are living in his single together (omg, it's getting annoying I think )...but SOON. Like within another year or two, maybe. I hope to feel at least a little more secure.

I was raised by Aquas...my mother and grandmother, two very hard-headed Aqua females who raised me. I was raised in an environment where I'd go to sleep with nonstop arguments about politics, religion, and the economy....when I go home to see my family (Aqua stepdad and brother too), it's music to my ears to hear the political background noise and be part of it. Odd what we find soothing, eh ?

Awww, what a cutie lil baby!
Very expressive face. I didn't think babies could glare like that. Makes me shiver.

Well, there is something in all my water houses, but, I don't know if I would say "psychic," I could never read someone on demand, I don't think, it either comes to me or it doesn't, you know?

LOL, I was raised by my Grandparents. Grandma/Aries, Grandpa/Taurus, and my Aunt and uncle. Aunt/Taurus, Uncle/Aries.
All of them Italian.
I fell asleep to arguing and crashing objects every night, so, I know what you mean!
Quiet people freak me out, and it took a loonnnng time for me to learn to use my "indoor voice," which I haven't totally mastered yet!!

Right now, I'm really interested in nodes, and how they play out in the evolution of one's life. My SNode is in Scorpio, and I never feel more comfy with any other sun, yet, there is alot of drama with them for me. Except my son, *fingers crossed. EVERY family member I have, including my kids, has Scorpio in the big 3. It's kind of freaky, and really gets me thinking.

*Thank you, CS, he does have some serious facial expressions!! His Mommy was the same way, man could that girl pout!! Pisces are excellent babies though, they entertain themselves so well, and have their little imaginings, it's nice raising a lil fishy.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!
So cute!! I can't stand it ...!!! Sorry for the long wait before logging on (no internet at home as I've said and full schedule classes on Mondays so ...) but here I am and your grandbaby is really cool Gypsee. I especially love the first pic of angry face.... what self control!! He looks like he is barely tolerating being photographed but he's taking it 'cos he's a wise soul or something. Thanks for posting the pic again Gypsee it really is sooooooo beautiful!!! Your baby's baby is gorgeous!!!

Oh, the Italian background isn't that far from Egyptian...Mediterranean and all
Arguing seems to be The Way. My poor stepfather is Dutch and very quiet (well, he was quieter until a few years into life with us, and then his voice went up a few octaves, which we all found amusing !!! ) ...my mother and I always argue in the kitchen while cooking like my mother and grandmother did. My dad says it's because we're all alpha females

Thanks, Tink, yeah, I think we'll keep him! He has Taurus rising as I said, and that is my NNode, maybe he'll teach his ole' Granny something, or two somethings.

OMG! MVM, my stepfather (#2 & 3- she married him twice, and is thinking, maybe the third time is a charm) is DUTCH! A Dutch Cancer, he literally dissolves, I mean, just disappears in family, erm, discussions!!

One time when my brother was in high school, some guys were terrorizing him. I guess he slept with someone's girlfriend or something, but, they gathered like 8 of them packed in a car, to come beat up my brother.
They came round to the door, and my brother hurried up and slammed it shut, wide-eyed and panicked. He ran and told my step dad, who then retreated to his bedroom!

So, they kept coming 'round and 'round the block, yelling things, slowing down in front of our house.
My poor lil bro was terrified.
I said, "ok, I have a plan!" <--wow, bad idea.
And, so, we opened the garage door just a smidge, and hit amongst the stuff. Then when they rounded the corner again, we came out screaming like banshees (sp?) him with a huge sledge hammer thingy, and me with a tire iron, and we attacked their car. Just went nuts on it!! It was great. lol.

Then we waited in terror, for the cops? parents? more kids? We had no clue.

They never came back, and my Stepdad did NOT come out of his room until my Mom was home at dinner time.

Yeah, Alpha females.
