You could also hold down Alt with your left forefinger, if that works for you.

Oops. yeah there is an ALT on the left too, I'm so observant.
What do you mean you don't have numbers on the right hand side?? Are they on the left? Or do you only have numbers up top?
I've never seen a keyboard without numbers someplace other than the top. Weirdo!

All three laptops at my house have right side keypads. I'm not sure what brand she has. We have Dell and Toshiba.

OK, well, I am feeling really guilty because I'm reading everyone is having such a terrible time with all the Scorpio business up there in the sky.

I guess my time will come inevitably, but right now, other then being unemployed, life is great.

TRUE, I do have a dastardly cold..
but,
I got a new living room set today.
I've been cleaning and getting rid of stuff like a madwoman <-- always good for the soul, IMHO.

My Dad is coming to visit on Thursday, I am so excited!!

My dude bought my son the bike he wanted because of aforementioned unemployment on my part. I didn't have the money, but he did, so he surprised him with the bike, a bunch of balloons, and a card with some spending cash.

Very cute to watch two Scorpio guys give/receive a gift while still being all cool about it.

what else??

Hmmmmm..... Well, I guess that is it for now, but I hope the gloomies dissapate for all those who are not having any fun at all right now.

I've been wanting to do this, but then I either sit myself down here, or snuggle up on the couch with a book.

I love getting new furniture, or redecorating. I'm glad that not everyone is suffering.

I only just got to it a couple days ago, Teasel. (The cleaning bug)

Actually I feel the energy drain as well, but I thought it was more the cold that any thing.

The sky is so gray.
My curtains are billowing out every time the heater kicks on, and it lulls me into daydreaming.
I made some hot chocolate and crawled back under the covers today.

I seem to get my energy at night, when everyone else is asleep.

*sigh* Yay, winter, here comes the season of my discontent.

Actually, it's more like my season of reflection, but that's okay too.

To everything there is a season.

How are those designs coming along

PS - I think you and I should hang out, because I am totally, stubbornly nocturnal, even when I am forcing myself to work a temporary 9-5 job lol. Body clock wont let me go to sleep before 12:30. On my own I sleep at about 4 or 5, sometimes later.

They say the mind is at its most active at about 3-6 AM, and that's when people slip into REM state more easily. It might be an explanation when a lot of artists also get their 'beg' idea.

Hi MVM;
Nice to see you.

Well, no sketching so far. My Dad is coming to visit on Thursday, and I've been cleaning like a madwoman. Two of my children have never even met him.

I tell you I'm getting so nervous.
Do you think your 6th house Moon makes you a nervous person, generally?
I notice that pattern with 6th house Moons.
Or maybe it's just cause I've got so much going on... *sigh*

Anyway, I'm one of these people that cannot create in chaos. You know?

So, before I can start, I had to ream out my closets, throw away a bunch of shite, organize my book shelves, gather and sort my art supplies.
LOL.
I know that sounds like I am procrastinating, but really it's my process.

And when I was cleaning I found stuff I forgot I had, like about 5 tarot sets.
How you forget what cards you have, I'll never know, but I did it.

I found my Julia Cameron books too, so I was thinking about re-reading 'The Artists Way'.
Doing that daily journaling she suggests is actually pretty helpful, especially during the dreary winter months.

I also talk alot when I am nervous can you tell?
I think the dogs are picking up on my nervousness, because they are jumping on and off the furniture and wanting in and out.
It's like having two toddlers and it's driving me nuts.
They need doggie xanax, or maybe I need doggie xanax.

Sleeping- ARgghh. I cannot shut the brain off. I have always been this way, and now my oldest daughter is like that too.
I try to sleep, and then when I am laying there I reconstruct every conversation or interaction I had that day, and sort of examine it, think of how it could be different, then I MAKE it different, kind of like my own soap opera of my own life.!

So, I think I fell asleep around 3am this morning, then I got woken at 6 by the kids. Then 8 by the dogs.
I fell back to sleep until noon.
But my sleep is so disturbed, it never feels complete.
Plus now I have that annoying 'getting older thing' where I have to pee in the night, which makes me start ALL over with the thinking, and the trying to fall asleep.

So, anytime you're awake in the night, I probably am too, and we can totally hang out. In person would be much more fun, but I don't see me in Cali anytime soon. Unfortunately!

Sorry for the novella, I told you I was nervous!

How goes the temp job? Are you becoming homicidal yet? Is this office work, I assume? Oh God, you'd have to chain me to the desk! ICK!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I just typed a response and lost it

Anyway I WAS writing that 6th house anything would be all restless and have nerves (yes you seem like you're chatty when you've got nerves, I can relate LOL) but then I was reading your chart and wondering if insomnia or like extra nerves has been happening for you because Uranus is moving through your 12th house of sleep/dreams/even creativity so it would definitely contribute! My moon in the 12th is accosted by Uranus in my chart and makes for super insane hours when I am working on a creative project, to the point of staying up insane hours you would not BELIEVE.

BTW so funny that you mention the Artist's Way! I bought that book long ago and got into the daily journaling. I have to say that the ONLY reason I was able to write my first book in such little time (I mean the rough draft LOL) is because I was writing in a journal every day religiously for 6 years! It gave me tremendous discipline. I don't write anymore in a journal like that. I just got bored of it after a few years but it works!

As for my temp work, I finished a 3-4 month assignment at a nonprofit law firm that does appeals for death row inmates. Crazy stuff, I was talking to 15-20 inmates a day on the phone and it was pretty intense. I think this is my 12th moon in action because I never skipped a beat talking to them, except when a couple of them were off their meds and had an extra helping of crazy for dinner. For the most part tho they were sweethearts to talk to (even tho I had the files on all of them and knew in excrutiating detail what the did to land them in prison which I assure you is really pretty hairy stuff as you know).
So I am finished with that assignment for now and I am glad because I love being in a job that makes a difference but that thing was draining as HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!
For now I'm grateful for my mundane new assignment just doing regular admin for a while, and saving up the money. My tolerance for 9-5 starts to drop off at about the 2-3 month mark though and I hate desk work too, but thank goodness for the internet at work LOL

OK enough rambling, I'll write later when I'm home from work

MVM, I seriously want to read your book.
Zala has a copy doesn't she?? Maybe she will let me borrow it. I'm sitting here with 'Wuthering Heights', 'Jane Eyre', and 'Great Expectations'. Cripes, I need something from THIS century to read!

Although Wuthering fits my mood of late.
I read your dream, btw. I am thinking on it.
I've got some ideas, but I want them to make sense, not NyQuil sense.
Hope you have a great weekend.

Hey Gypsee,

Scorpio news.
The scorpio guy I told you about. The one I kissed and who's got a girlfriend. Well nothing happend after that.
He's my collegue so that's a tricky situation. Well I find him stupid now. he's a moon gemini and asc sag.
Well a new scorpio has arrived. A real black one. sun and moon in scorpio.
I've met him at the university. Back than he had a girlfriend and got married to her. It was student friendship between us,
he didn't make any move at all. I never found him happy about his relationship, although his wife is a pisces.
We stayed in contact trough e-mail, suddenly he e-mailed me after a long time that he has gone trough a divorce.
So I asked him if had a new girlfriend or he's going to enjoy the single life? Maybe not a good question to somone who's
been through a divorce recently. He didn't reply. And to my surprise he e-mailed me to congratulate me for my birthday
and asked me to have lunch with him. I wonder what he wants....I'm curious! Sigh, well am i ready for another scorpio?
My mom's got asc scorpio and her boyfriend is a scorpio.

How are you doing? Has your dad arrived yet?

Sheesh, you are a brave Scorpio, Scorpio to take on a Scorpio sun and moon! I'de be careful there! What do you want, in this relationship? I'de be sure to at least have a good idea, because you know this is going to be a serious person, right?
Let me know how it goes.

I've often thought that two scorpios would be a no-no. I couldn't think of any scorpio that I knew which had a relationship with another scorpio. And Then, i remembered my dad had a scorpio girl for 10 years, she was born on his birthday, Nov. 5. They fought terribly.
But in retrospect he said she was probably his soul mate, but.. he said they were both too stubborn. Neither would give in, even on the most basic of things.. like what to have for dinner. So two fixed signs, I see this as being too hard. Just my opinion, of course.

I've got to write my grocery list for T-giving, then I'll be back.
