Dave Mathews is a capricorn!?! huh. whoda thunk it. Scot being a scorp does not surprise me one bit at all.I'll have to look up your band on youtube and check it out. The band you like, I mean. It's weird with music, because to me, well like I said I am not a musician, but music is kinda the scrapbook of my life. I think most people love music that corresponds to certain events or times in their lives, and they go back to it, like me with the grunge. Your the same age as my brother, who is also a musician, and I remember when he was just going from teen to adult he was into his "speed metal" phase, and I got sooo burned out listening to him play that stuff over and over, then going to hear him play it in his band. I mean, shoot me, but I don't care if I ever hear Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, etc. again. But my brother (virgo) like my ex, would tirelessly explain to me the dexterity it takes to play speed metal. And I comprehend and respect that, but I don't like the way it makes me feel. You know? Then of course, you have to factor in my job. When you are behind the bar you are at the mercy of your patrons choices on the jukebox. Some songs I just never want to hear again. I mean it is a weird sort of hell to hear a drunk person play "Rock Star" by Nickleback, like ten times in one night, murdering the lyrics, singing loudly and off key, and thinking, "oh, man, I LIKED that song, and now you ruined it!" And then of course theres childhood. I am from New Jersey and I saw Bruce Springsteen from the boardwalk playing through the doors of an open tavern. So there will always be a place in my heart for him as well. I could talk about music all day and night. So any time your bored....... p.s. whats "not easy" about my chart? I thought it was very pretty with those triangles in it. Aren't triangles good? I am trying to learn and understand this stuff on my own, but it is alot easier when someone helps to explain it. If you ask on the astro forum, people just ignore you, or tell you to read something else. Which I can totally understand, them not wanting to answer and repeat the same stuff to people over and over. That must be very annoying. IP: Logged |

I had a water bed once, I enjoyed it for a while cause I could get work up a bounce and it would rock me to sleep... but then a little movement would get it bouncing again and it would wake me up... so it had to go haha! nice to meet you IP: Logged |

Unfortunately, red lines are stressful, and the red triangles, especially the ones with Venus as its apex are t-square configurations. T-squares consist of an opposition, and two squares. Oppositions and squares are stressful. The ones involving Venus are potentially more stressful because the degree Venus is at is closer to the other planets involved. Venus is at 21 degrees Sagittarius. Saturn is at 23 degrees Pisces. Pluto's at 20 degrees Virgo, and Uranus is at 24 degrees Virgo. All of those aspects (except the Pluto/Uranus conjunction) are within 3 degrees. That's pretty tight, which means that you should feel it.The blue lines are nice aspects (trines and sextiles). The problem with a configuration like a t-square is that I don't think you'll ever find an adequate interpretation for your specific t-squares. The interpretation of a t-square is generalized. It tells you that it's stressful, that energy is is being expended in too many directions, and that the resolution is found in the area opposite the apex of the t-square (your Venus in this case). The resolution for yours then would be in Gemini in the 2nd house. Gemini deals with communication, teaching, learning, and short trips. 2nd house is material security, money, and what you value. By focusing on these things, your t-square is supposed to be eased. IP: Logged |

Scorplyn; thanks, yeah waterbeds are okay for awhile but a terror on your back, says my chiro. The best night sleep I ever had was once when it was really, really hot in the house and no matter what, I couldn't get comfortable. So i went outside with a light blanket and slept on my kids trampoline. It was awesome, try it sometimes. You wake up to the birds, and sunlight, I wish I could sleep like that everynight. It's nice to meet you.Wow! AG, thanks for the info. I didn't realize the color of the lines had any meaning, other than distinguishing one line from another. That explains alot in terms of my love life. I'm gonna re-read and copy into my notebook what you wrote. It means alot that you would take the time to explain that much to me. Thanks!!!!!!! No problem. If you want a canned chart interpretation, I can post one of those for you later. Seek out Eve, a fellow Sagittarian, if you want someone to spiral thoughts about your chart. People always enjoy her astrological insights. IP: Logged |

Thanks AG and D for your help. The chart I had been looking at for ages (I think someone made it for me off a computer program in 1991) was in black and white, so I didnt see red lines or blue lines. I see them now OUCH, got alot of reading to do.So lemme ask u guys this: Ok, my Sun and Venus are both in Sag. One person I've loved (my kids Dad) has his sun in Cap but his venus in Sag. Another person, has his sun in Scorp, but his venus and moon in sag. So are they drawn to me because of that, or maybe I am drawn to them? Or is it that we all three express love and emotions in a similiar way? Naww, that doesn't fit with the Cap. I don't know I guess it seems strange to me that I would have my venus in sag, and love two people with the same placement. You guys are a big help, thank you. IP: Logged |

D Can you veiw youtube from where your at? If so, go search Guns and Roses, and choose the live version of Paradise City. Yikes! As for the Chilli Peppers, I only saw them once, my brother saw them lots of times and he says they always suck live. He says they are def a studio band. The music was turned up way too loud, there was not enough bass, and Anthony Keidas was not wearing a clip on mic or a headset, he was holding his mic, so half the time he had his head turned in another direction and you couldnt hear any words at all. There were people booing. But it was awhile ago, and I've heard he cleaned up off drugs and stuff, so maybe they are better now. Def Leppard was so bad, we gave up our floor seats to some other people up in in the bleachers. lol. But I did watch just to hear this: Gypsy, sittin lookin pretty a broken rose with laughing eyes Your a mystery misty eyed and shady lady how you hold the key...... Kinda speaks to me. But the rest of the songs, pretty cheesy. IP: Logged |

A man's Venus is supposed to give some indication of what he likes in a woman.A woman's Mars is supposed to give some indication of what she likes in a man. It doesn't necessarily mean that the person needs to be with someone of that sun sign, but it does mean that the person will be attracted to the qualities within any individual that correspond with qualities of that sign. A Venus in Sagittarius might be attracted to foreign or cultured women since Sagittarius rules long distance travel. He might also be into taller women or women with more athletic physiques. He may want a smart or educated woman. He may like his woman to be slightly more masculine, which in this case means "not girly-girl"; he likes someone who can be more rough and tumble; he likes someone who looks good without loads of makeup. Unfortunately, I have way too much work to continue writing at the moment, but that should help you out some. IP: Logged |

wow! thats amazing. I look very foreign, people always tell me. Im not tall, but I was a gymnast for 11 years, so the athletic fits. I only wear makeup when I am going to work, or going out. I hate it. I never get my nails done, I don't cut my hair but maybe once a year for a trim. Extremely low maintanence. Definetly not a girly-girl. I'm always one of the guys. Also physically strong, can pick up people bigger than me and throw them. (part of the job, nuthin special there) So you just made things a whole lot clearer for me AG!! I know your busy, and that makes me appreciate your time that much more, thank you for all your kindness. If theres anything I can do for you, just ask. Obviously I can't read your chart, but I can read cards and stuff like that. I also read palms. But unless we participate in "Hands Across America" don't see that as an option. Thanks again!Note to self: AG says women like the type of men that their Mars is in. hmmm. Mine is in Libra, never dated a Libra. Have to think on that! IP: Logged |

It's true. Not all Sags are tall. That's not necessarily a Sagittarian trait. My Sag ex was taller than average.IP: Logged |

Are you very familiar with Libras (as far being attracted to them because your Mars and Descendant are there)? There are lots of artistic Libras. John Lennon was a Libra. Thom Yorke of Radiohead is a Libra.IP: Logged |

Right, but that doesn't rule out Libras as a possibility. Libran traits would be stuff like a good sense of justice and balance, a nice feel for aesthetics and the arts, possibly refined tastes, some who's fair with people, someone who's good with money, etc.My Venus is in Sagittarius, and I think my last girlfriend was my first Sagittarian Sun. It was a very easy and good relationship for me. I'm still pretty open to most signs. IP: Logged |

thanks guys for helping me to think this through.Definetly drawn to Scorpio. Have had some strong feelings with Virgo. Married a Cap. Before him (@ 17 yrs old) married an Aries, very, very bad for me. Don't have any experience with libra. I had a close girlfriend in high school who was a Libra, but thats the extent of it. Have a thing for Venus in Sag. I don't like pretty boys, or girly men (well, except Johnny Depp, but he hasn't called lately) I usually fall for musicians, artists, poets, people who think outside the box. I have an "ideal type" in my mind, like what I think is attractive, looks wise, but I never end up with that person! Its quite funny! I'm always being told I am "naive" because I fall for the sweet talkin, bad boys, and now you see we have wound are way back to Scorpio obsession again. sigh. IP: Logged |

Song and dance/action-adventure actor Hugh Jackman is a Libra, so it is conceivable that you could find the good looks, the art, and the badboy in one guy.IP: Logged |

Yes, I suppose I could. But I don't. The archtype I'm thinking of, is more like Jim Morrison, Michael Huthence, Eddie Veder, Ian Astbury. More snakey, wirey types. Maybe some people would think that is a girly guy?? Hmm, don't know. But like I said, thats in my head, not what manifests. oh, well. I'm still trippin on this Michael Jackson news, I'm gonna go check some other boards and hear what everyones saying. I kinda fell outta the loop, I went to swim park 2 days in a row, and then here in a little bit, I'm going to a car show in the Scorps corvair, and then to the watch the air show, and fire works @ the Air Force Base. Hope your friday nite is great, AG!IP: Logged |

Gypsee, You sound really nice. I remember you said that you know you will die drowning. I have the same fear but unlike you I don't swim much, the ocean doesn't attract me at all.I was wondering whether this has anything to do with the similarities in our charts. I am a Sag with a Libra moon and Sag Venus too. I wonder what our synastry and composite look like...hmmm... We even have similar taste in men ...well, maybe except for the wiry part. I'm into guys with long hair. Mars in Leo - gotta love the mane Ha! Maybe not the same type of guys at all then! Although I Jim Morrison! Who doesn't fall for sweet-talking guys? We all want to be wooed by impossible romantics... IP: Logged |

LOL, AG. I can't help it if I like Saggies. And Aqua Moons. So Jim Morrison would have been perfect with that Sag Sun, Aqua Moon of his.Cappies with Sag Venus are OK in my book too. I have a friend with those placements - he's a doll and we get along famously! Yeah, Val Kilmer is a Cappie. I liked him in the movie. I wonder if he channeled Jim well and if he did - could it have something to do with the signs? Can you channel your past life/sign energies easy because you understand them and accept them as a part of your own energies? In other words, AG, can you play a Sag in your theater? Sorry Gypsee, tell me if this is getting too off topic and I'll move this to AG's thread. IP: Logged |

I'm not sure. My biggest issue is that I'm not a verbose person. With my Saturn opposite my Sagittarian Mercury I tend to condense, and this has become such a habit that it's proven a little difficult in improv to be very talkative. I am funny, though. I sometimes come out with ideas that surprise people in funny ways. My last girlfriend was a Sag with Capricorn Rising. To her, I was the fun person between us. She used to call me, "Jolly." I can be quite silly with people that I feel comfortable around, especially if I don't feel like I need to censor myself. You Mutable Suns are great at encouraging that kind of honesty. IP: Logged | |
