Hello everyone!

To Lexx and D;
I enjoy reading your opinions on religion, it makes the thread very interesting, and gives me alot to think about. I appreciate that.
Like I said, feel free to discuss what you like here, as I am non-judgemental on just about everything. At least I try to be!

I have had many times when I have questioned religion and the bible, and all that it entails.
My journey is ongoing and has been a long one.
I respect everyone's opinion, and would never, ever, force my beliefs on anybody. In fact, I get extremely offended when people do that to me.
As in the door-to-door folk. I don't mind anyone sharing their beliefs, but when I calmly and sincerely express mine, and they tell me I am going to hell, from MY front doorstep, I can be downright aggressive.
Everyones journey is different. And I can see something justifiable in every religion I have studied, except for those that are cult-like, there I have a problem.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know, you do have freedom of religion, or non-religion, however you prefer to word it, on this thread. (:

Future!
I have so many thoughts for you in my head. Because you know, I have been there.
But I truly believe that with your smarts you WILL find the balance you seek with parenting and career. It isn't easy, but not impossible!
There are many compromises and sacrafices we make in this world, and for our children, the future of this world, nothing is too much to ask, IMHO.
I see alot of joy and happiness for you, and for all it is worth, I get the feeling you are having a girl.
Just a passing impression, I am not good at that, at least with myself or those very close to me, but when I read your post, I thought, "GIRL!!"
You are very blessed, and I am sure, much deserving. Be well, rest, take care of yourself.

So on the subject of kiddies....
All three of mine, and the (son-not-in-law-in-the-legal-sense) left this morning for an 8 day vacation at Lake Cumberland in KY.
I know I should probably be glad for them, and happy for free time, but I was teary when they left, and they have been on my mind all day.
I guess I am just used to the chaos of many voices, noises in my house every single day, and now it is like, chirp, chirp, crickets in here.
Oh well, I won't inflict my mommy-melancholy on you guys!
Maybe it is eclipse related, although it seems to be a theme on the astro board that it's hitting the water signs hardest, and I am not that.
Last night we all watched 'The Happening.'
Have any of you guys seen it? I believe it is around a year or two old, so nothing new, but I thought it was really good.
I adore M. Night Shaymalad. His movies are so different!
It is kinda funny, in the kind of ironic sense, because I used to subscribe to a writers magazine, and in one was an article about how many possible themes there are for a story/film/book.
The article said, there are three hundred and something combinations that are possible.
Like:
Man vs. Man
Man vs. Nature
Man vs. God etc. You get it.
Yet people come up with something different and original all the time, that has never been done in that exact way before. It is amazing, the imaginations some are gifted with, isn't it?
Have a wonderful evening!

Dearest GypseeWind, I see you are exploding all over LL.
When Saggies are most disturbed and sad, we tend to try and push the pain away by talking.
I might be totally off but it seems to me that you are trying to beat that sorrow down so it doesn't overcome your life.
I just wanted you to know that I respect your opinions and love the way you express them.
Thank you for the lovely email you wrote to me. You are a bright light in these boards and I admire your courage and determination.
I wish we can meet in real life and talk about everything under the sun. You are loved not by only your family at home but also by your friends here.
Please get a Facebook account so we can chat! LOL.
Love you,
Yin

Thanks Yin!
I guess that is probably true..
I am not so much sad as questioning and thinking/re-thinking many things in my life.
Sort of feel adrift.
I'm trying to figure out why I've let some things go for so long, when they haven't proven to serve a higher purpose in my life, do you know what I mean?
I don't like complacency.
Then again, and here is that Libra Moon gonna talk for a minute.........
I try (notice, try) not to let my moods be in charge because I know from experience that they can and do change sometimes overnight, and when I have made rash decisions based on a mood, well, I have been known to regret that.
I forget that people don't shrug it off as easy as me.
And thank you for your kind words and concern. You are a genuine and sweet girl.
So, I do have a facebook account!
The link is in my myspace, I don't want to put my real name here, but if you go to myspace you will find it.
If you missed the post with everyone's myspace's on it, here is mine.... www.myspace.com/477581543.
I realize that putting that there is virtually only a click or two away from revealing my real name, but it just seems like it is a bit more private.
I do check it about once a week or so. In fact, I checked it today.
Anyway, it is getting late and I have to watch 'Frasier' heh heh, I know, so old, but I'm hopelessly addicted.
Take care of yourself and I will talk to you soon!

SO...........

I was laying out, frying in the sun, doing a bunch of nothing, when this song came on the radio..

"Back To Life" by Soul 2 Soul.

Wham! I was immediately sent back to 1990!
It was summer time and I was working at this restaurant/club.
I had no real responsibilities, other than paying my car insurance and rent to my mom.
I was driving a veryfast car, and had money in my pocket all the time.
I had a mad crush on the D.J. at work.
I would time my taking out the trash with his cigarette break and we would smooch against the brick building, underneath the summer stars..... sigh..... right??

Then this little voice I detest, called reality began to speak in my ear...
She said, "um....yeah, do you remember the uniform you had to wear to that job? It was a CHEERLEADER (shudder) uniform with stripes and pleats, made out of polyester, that trapped all the sweat IN. And, yeah, that money you always had? Well, you never got to spend it because you worked all the time?? And your car was a classic nightmare, constantly needed this or that. And dont even make me go there about living with your Mother. Plus, the D.J. was a dog who had a cheerleader in every venue he played at, remember??????"

So now, instead of thinking, "Those were the good ole days" start thinking THESE are the good ole days, cause one day, this is exactly what you will think!!!

Yep. That's what its like in my head.

My myspace link doesn't work? hmmm, 3 people from LL found me on it. Did you try this one exactly...www.myspace.com/477581543
Try it again, Zala, and if it doesn't work, tell me and I'll find another way to give it to you.

AG;
I've been okay. Tired as heck. I have another side business. There is a drive-in movie theater down the street from me. On Sunday morning, it becomes an outdoor flea market. You can rent a space from speaker post to speaker post (abt 12 ft.) for 15 dollars and sell whatever you want.
You must bring your own tables, and your own change.
HERES THE CATCH: It is open from 6am to noon.
So, that means there is a line of vehicles to get in, get the primo spots by 5am. So we get up at 4 am to pack our cooler and snacks, etc..
Every sunday I make over a hundred dollars easy.
But, in order to get stuff to sell, I am like the person people call when they have a basement or attic to clean. They have me do it, so they don't have to pack it up and send it to goodwill.
It's not so bad, but this past week we moved alot of heavy furniture, and um, I am getting a little too old to be carrying huge dressers around. ugg. But furniture is a big seller. Alot of young couples starting out shop there. I do this from April to October. Only not in the rain.

I know you didn't ask for a dissertation, but somehow when I'm talking to you, I just go on and on and on. Sorry if that is tiresome for you, believe me, I've been told to shut up my whole life, so I wouldn't be surprised if your thinking it!

No, that's cool. I like your industriousness. It's great that the lot charge is only $15. Minimizes the risk. That's awesome.

Thanks, Jack-of-all-trades, thats me.
Actually, it's kinda fun. The other vendors are usually the same people from week to week, so theres a sort of community feel to it.
Sometimes I feel like Sanford and Son tho! honestly thank Goodness you can't see my back porch from the other house or the street, because right now it is piled high with furniture! Oh, well, you gotta do, what you gotta do.

Anyway, EEEKKKKK! There is a mouse in my house! OMG! Big, (well, little) tough Gypsee is scared sh#tless of mice! Everyone says when you live close to the river, you'll have this. Plus we have an attic, that came full of crap that the owner has yet to retrieve, so thats another mouse haven, I suppose. Anyway, other than those hideous traps that make a God-awful snapping sound as they murder the poor dude, do you (or anyone reading this) know of a way to successfully capture a mouse?
This house isn't big enough for the both of us! And I may just pack up my gyspy caravan of junk and leave here if he doesn't agree to go peaceably!!!

Your welcome, ABC. My pleasure.

AG, I'm on facebook, you can get the line on my myspace, so I don't have to tell my name here. But I only go on it about once a week or so...

Spent the day at the waterpark yesterday, it was 90 degrees and packed! Fun though!

sigh* you can get the LINK on myspace. I need a personal editor too. Do you think Randall would consider having spellcheck embedded into LL? What am I saying I spelled the word right, it was just the wrong dang word!! ok, maybe I need a little more sleep these days! Sheesh, I'm getting on my own nerves.

OKIE DOKIE

Movie review time....

So don't rent the new 'Friday The Thirteenth' unless you want to fall asleep, which I did consistantly throughout the whole movie. Yeah, I can never get those two hours back.

Then I watch 'The Unborn' which, to my surprise I actually liked. It reminded me of 'The Ring' and was a little bit predictable, but overall, worth renting.

After that I watched, 'The Haunting in Connecticuit' Oh my, that was flippin scary! Usually scary movies don't scare me but that one did the trick! Supposed to be a true story as well. After it ended, the mouse in my house ran across the room which caused me to scream, which made a chain reaction of screaming peeps in my casa. They didn't see the mouse, they thought I was screaming about the movie. Too funny, but I totally recommend that rental, even if you don't believe it happened, it is very entertaining!!
Okay, just wanted to tell ya that.

YIN-STER!

Did you get my email? I think I sent it yesterday, it was 3 days after yours, so sorry for the delay.
Anyway, I was joking about the misspelling, I kinda think it gives character, and sometimes peoples mispelled posts make them really funny!
So if you dont mind, I dont mind......

Yeah, it only took 3 of us, but I got my daughters pic on here!
This is her and I on her 18th b-day, which was in Feb.
Now she's gonna be a momma, boy oh boy, does time really fly!
Everyone says she looks 12! She certainly acts 12 most of the time, lol!
She's into the third month, and no bump yet. Course we're talking about a girl who couldn't get her belly button peirced because they couldn't grab any skin!
Anywho, she's due March 10th, 2010.

Lord have Mercy! I had to get rid of my storage unit, cause it was not affordable, now the contents are on my living room floor and on the back porch. How does one acquire so much sh!t? It was on the front porch too, that was embaressing. I put a bunch to the trash two days before trash day and most of it was gone before the truck got here thank goodness. I yelled over my neighbors fence, he is like 80 something years old and has he 2 60 something year old sons living with him (we call them Cheech and Chong) they smoke weed all day and play pool in the garage, I know interesting neighborhood) anyway, I yelled, anybody over there want a crate of old Playboy magazines???? I think they love me now, and will stop complaining that my bird chirps too loud. huhhhhh, life is funny.
