LOL! If someone were to pull that on me, 8 out of 10 times I'd just be p!ssed. I am so against cheery people suggesting some healthy action. I only braved it, because you said that it helps that someone's keeping you accountable.IP: Logged |

HI! What are you doing? I am donating what seems to be half my household to this gigantic garage sale for breast cancer research..I was only going for my closet, I don't know what happened. How did that fit in my closet I wonder? How did I find anything in my closet before this week? At least when I fall asleep at night, it's a good honest conk out, from hard work. That's always nice. But no way would you catch me running anywhere, unless it was from a fire. IP: Logged |

I might run for the water bucket to put out the fire.Good for you for cleaning out the closet, those can be scary places! ------------------ We cannot seek or attain health, wealth, learning, justice or kindness in general. She's challenged herself to lose weight while giving me the same amount of time to write a song. You may know that, but you asked what her or I was doing? Otherwise, I'm doing work. It's still 3:30 here. I don't much like running myself. Swimming is my favorite. Hmmm...I wonder if I'd have such an issue putting my clothes away if I only kept what I actually wear. IP: Logged |

You would be surprised, I bet!I used to keep my seasonal clothes in the house, and the off season ones in the shed, then switch. Last year I went through them to where they all would fit all year long. That was a job! Now that I'm really digging, I'm finding stuff I have not worn in a year, and you know what they say about that. Anyway, I was just saying, "what are you doing" in general, to whoever was listening. Cool. Now I'm waiting to leave. Might have freaked my supervisor out by stopping by to hang out. I was, of course, hoping to be dismissed early, but instead it was just a decent conversation.IP: Logged |

Very annoying morning at work thus far. There's a co-worker out, so there's more work, and I've already been put off by our lead when I had a question about a file. She wanted to continue on with her personal conversation rather than deal with me who'd already been waiting at her desk for a few minutes before starting a search for her. IP: Logged |

Annoyed over here, too. Sometimes I hate lawyers for the way their minds are trained to think in circles and manipulative behavior. WANT. TO. SMACK. MY. BOSS. He will tell me something to tell somebody that is calling. I tell them, word for word what he says, they misunderstand, but since it's not HIM that is actually speaking with them (because he never wants to talk to anyone) and I am NOT IN HIS BRAIN, the result of my conversation with them is me having messed up. Really? REALLY? Go eff yourself you giant pain in the a$$. IP: Logged |

I don't work for lawyers. However, every time I've worked for a MAN, the above has been true. It's true right now at my current job - I get to cover up stupid mistakes, omissions and general misunderstandings because my Pisces supervisor lives in Lalaland. As a result, I hate working for men. I've never worked for a guy who can keep his **** straight. Maybe I just relate and understand women better, I don't know. ------------------ Know Yourself IP: Logged |

It's so weird! Normally, I relate to and can work with men very well, but my boss is a horse of a different color. The other lawyer I do the most research/etc. for is much easier to talk to when he's actually in the office. He drives me nuts when he's up in the legislature b/c he never responds to HALF of the things I address to him in my e-mails, but at least when he assigns a task, he is thorough and complete in his thought and what actually needs to be executed. The half answers and "i'm so lost in my own thoughts I can't possibly finish speaking with you so you actually KNOW WHAT THE EFF I'm talking about" thing is really frustrating. IP: Logged |

The only real stand out boss I've had was male, and surprisingly that was also in the Navy! Probably the only boss I've had that was able to clearly articulate what he wanted consistently, and if you asked for clarification on something, he was quite efficient at clearing things up. It really was refreshing. I always knew exactly where I stood with him, and what I had to do to stay in his graces.I have had bosses like Ghani's. That's rough. It seems like you're basically covering for their incompetence. IP: Logged |

I think he's slipping as he gets older. When I first started here, he really had it together. His mind was a trap, but lately, it seems like he's somewhere else. Looking at it that way, I feel kinda sad. IP: Logged |

My favorite kinds of foods are Mexican and Italian, but I'm trying to expand my horizons. It hasn't been until the past five to ten years that I've started getting in to Asian food. Pad Thai is almost always delicious (Americans, don't try Cheesecake Factory's near Pad Thai dish. It's terrible, and way heavier than normal Pad Thai). There is a good Japanese place within walking distance of my house called Hana Japan. They do the cooking right in front of you, and make a show of it. It's good. IP: Logged |

I miss Tokyo Wako!! I think that was the name of it. I think it's a chain. I used to go when I was in LA and Florida. Yum. I love Sushi but haven't been able to eat it since I got pregnant/am nursing. This summer though, I intend to stuff myself with takki! Love mexican food, too. MMMM miss southern Cali so much for the awesome Mexican places like El Cholo! IP: Logged |

An old Navy friend approved my friend request last night on Facebook. He was my best friend in the Navy, but we parted on bad terms, so I'm glad he accepted. I'm fascinated to learn that he's a Virgo. Oh, and talk about a cursed birthdate: Aug 26, 1970 = 8/8/8 We were a couple 8's hanging out together. (I actually don't feel anything particularly bad associated with 8.) Makes me wonder what our Sag's friend's birth number is. Just checked. He's 12/1/71, so no 8's.I'll be interested in looking at my Virgo friend's chart. I wouldn't have necessarily pegged him for a Virgo. IP: Logged |

That is exactly what it was yesterday. They did the cooking right in front of me, and made a show of it. It was fun. I think I can eat Italian food more often than Japanese and Mexican foot.
I'm not a Sushi lover,It's to cold, for dinner I want a warm meal. So you were in the Navy, than you would like my lastname it's got the sea in it. Ghanima81 when was your child born? What sunsign is he/she? IP: Logged |

AG, It's not bland, a lot of it is quite spicy. There are these awesome tuna rolls made with a very spicy orange sauce I can't wait to eat!! I'm sure there are bland kinds if you like it that way, but I like the kick! My favorite are these tuna and shrimp "rolls" that have avocado, sprouts and spicy sauce. Otherwise, I don't eat shrimp. Weird, that. Scorp, She was born 8/15/09 and is a Leo sun/Gemini moon/Cap asc. Mercury is in Virgo and Venus in Cancer. She's got quite a mix in there! IP: Logged |

My Virgo friend's chart is fascinating. Sun is at 2 degrees, so it is trine mine. It's also opposite his NN by less than a degree. He's got a t-square in fixed signs between Saturn in Taurus, Mars in Leo, and Neptune in Scorpio. Easing his Saturn/Neptune opposition is a conjunction of Pluto and Mercury in late degree Virgo (oh, conjunct my Moon). Peregrine Venus in Libra. His Cancer Moon is also opposite my Sun.IP: Logged |

You didn't?!? Bring on the spunk! There are some lovely new people to meet if you haven't already.Wink, that's true. Do you pull in the men like he used to do with the ladies? He's Irish, so he always had that sort of international allure. IP: Logged |

Morning friends! Happy Friday!Well, last night another Navy friend accepted my friend request. He was actually my first friend on my ship. Once again, I'm fascinated to learn his Sun sign. He easily seemed Aquarian, and I actually had to stop hanging out with him after awhile, because he was just too crazy. He's actually a Capricorn born in 1976. I'm astonished to learn that he's married, and has three sons now. Vapor Lash also created an FB account, so that was cool. It's a bummer that she won't post pics of herself as I'm intensely curious what she looks like. I've seen most of my LL family. I'm thinking about tweaking two of my character's voices more. Billy, the kid from New York that gets Shanghaied, needs to be a little higher pitched I think. I think a higher pitch will help solidify his youth. Lorne Order, my military man, may get a New York accent himself. He's just too bland. I also think that an accent will help this character distinguish between his business voice, and his more relaxed voice. Whenever he speaks with Bertha, the girl he eventually gets, he's supposed to kind of break with his military demeanor. I plan on having him pronounce every syllable distinctly when playing military man, and when he breaks character he'll revert to a less disciplined New York accent. IP: Logged |
