My friend was married to a guy with the last name "Pollock." Like the artist. But, people would always call him, "POLE-LOCK," as in a racial slur against being Polish. He had a serious complex, they got divorced, can't say that the two are connected, but I have my theories. Anyway, I love the name Jason, it's my brothers name. And you were born in the same year as my other brother, so, you are just a "special" kinda guy. Sooo, this is me today... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljIQo1OHkTI AG probably finds that totally predictable, but, that is ok, I'm sure he finds it in his heart to luv me anyway. Doncha AG??? Yup My older sister got the comment more than I did that we look like the lead singer of that band (Simple Minds). They show up on my Pandora station, too. That's a good song. Oh, and for the record, nothing would've changed about my name Jason, except that it might have moved to top billing since it is the name I go by. Someone once told me here that Jason rings to a Scorpio vibration. I kind of believe it's true. IP: Logged |

I am gonna sound like I am making this up now (I'm not), but one of my daughters teachers is called Mrs Shirtliff, and she is married to a vicar called Mr Shirtliff. She has another teacher called Mr Cox. AG - you lost me, but I think I get it now. I have practiced the name with an American accent and can see how that might be a problem, but am still at a loss as to how it should be said. I am also intrigued as to what you first name is. Most names are mis-spelled now anyway. Weighed today, and am still 2lb short OH NO! When am I gonna get my song????? Gypsee - hi - long time no speak - u ok? IP: Logged |

I know!! Gypsee hardly ever comes around anymore. My last name is pronounced how it's spelled, with a long 'a'. It's interesting that an accent might make a difference, but I can see how it could. My first name is Micheal. So common...and everyone seems to know how to spell it right. My grandmother didn't. My parents did, but decided to pass on the spelling. If you're going to misspell it intentionally, I think it should be really messed up like Mykal or something. Not a spelling that indicates that the person just didn't remember how to spell it. Oh, about the song... I'm just busy right now. I pretty much only get to sleep at home lately, except the weekends, which I admit I probably haven't utilized fantastically, so ...we'll see what the weekend brings I guess. I don't get a night off from the play until Friday. IP: Logged |

HA! My brother Jason IS a Scorpio, funny that!My neighbors in NJ were, Swear to Christ, "The Pizzitasses." I doubt that is how it is spelled, but that is how it is pronounced. I about choked when my regular doc, wanted to send me for my sinus surgery to a "Dr. Kwak." Seriously, there are times when changing ones name is just good for business!!! Hehe, my hand surgeon's name is Bret Bamburger. We called him, Dr. Hamburger, and he calls himself, Dr. HANDburger. Good guy. I've been guilty of spelling Michael wrong all my life, I still have to think of it when I write it. The only way I remember, is that "A" comes before "E" in the alphabet. Here is another one for ya. My FIL (born in Kentucky, won't bother any more with explanations) was to be named after his father, John Bowling. So, when my FIL was born, the nurse came in and asked old Granny what she wanted to name him, she said, "John Junior of course!!" So, on his birth certificate his name is.... John Junior Bowling JR. Lord, never have a baby in Kentucky. That is my advice. lol. Haven't been around much because I have lots going on. Internally and externally. You know I love my warm weather. But, I had some big drama with a long time friend of 27 years, and I had to end the friendship. She posted stuff of an EXTREMELY private nature to my FB wall, while she was drunk. I have kids that read there. I had to delete her, which started a weekend email war. I'm just now comin' around. Hope you all are well. IP: Logged |

I hope you deleted that stuff from your wall. That's one thing they got right at Facebook. If someone says something I don't like, I can delete it. I think I offended my own mother doing that once, but she was misspelling stuff and using improper grammar while trying to be snooty. I can handle being snooty, but you've got to spell right, and not do a run-on sentence. The grammar betrays the superior attitude.IP: Logged |

LOL! That is funny! I mean, I'm not making fun of YOUR mom, just the situation! You know the weird thing was, I was out that night myself, having had been at a funeral, basically 9 hours straight of drama. Anyway, I begged off from the after-after party, and went home. I was going to crash myself, and something made me turn FB on. You can't see me online, because I almost always have my chat turned off. So, she had no idea I was on there, when she wrote that! I can (actually, I can't) imagine what would of happened if not for that little bit of sychronicity. Suffice to say, someone is looking out for me. Yes, I deleted it within, say, 3 seconds? If anyone saw it, they haven't said anything yet. That is when I deleted her. She shot back a mail saying, "she'd never of though I'de stoop so low, as to delete her." I love these English words, so.. GOBSMACKED, is what I was. While you are here, do you remember any of Dave Matthews placements besides Cap sun? I have been searching old astro for the one thread they had on him, I remember there being some discrepancy about birth time or place, something like that. I thought of you the other day, and had to laugh, because I was looking at my wall, and I had three videos up; Dave Matthews, Annie Lennox, and David Bowie. What can I say, as far as musicians go, you my CAPS off to you guys. IP: Logged |

No, I've never known Dave Matthews' placements. I know John Denver and I both have the same Sun and Ascendant (our Moon signs are opposite). I think I might have some placements in common with Eddie Vedder.I would try Astrotheme in your search for Dave's astrology. Yeah, in that Facebook story I had linked an article that stated vegetarianism was unhealthy, so my mom chimed in saying that vegetarians had a lot of health issues or something. I was fine with what she said, and would've corrected it if I had the option, but that grammar and spelling wouldn't do. I'm glad you were online to catch that person. IP: Logged |

Yeah, me too. That would of been all bad.One thing I don't like about FB is that you don't have the option to go in and edit if you put in an incorrect word, which I do ALL the time. I mean, you can delete it, and rewrite it, but that's work. lol. You are probably not here are you? I think I just read you are at improv? So, I'm talking to myself, not much new there. I think I'll head outside and check out that full moon, if it isn't too cloudy. IP: Logged |

Well, well, well....According to Astrotheme, Mr. Mathews has: Cap/Sun Cap/Merc Cap/Moon Libra/Mars (me too) Aqua/Venus Nept/Sco (me too) Uranus & Pluto in Virgo (me too, but we are close in age-same as the Neptune) Jupiter/Leo (me too) NN Taurus (me too) Chiron/Pisces (me too) Interesting. They don't show his Asc, I think that was the thing I read about in here, nobody can find his birth time. They have him listed as a Chinese Fire Horse, which is not right. Fire Horses are 1966, and only happen every 60 years. He was born in 1967. Wonder how they screwed that up? Interesting site though, thank you. IP: Logged |

It's been rainy off and on all day today, so I was pleasantly surprised to find the Moon shining clearly in the sky tonight as I left improv. I've never been all too keen on Dave Matthews. He's alright, and he's done a song or two that I find interesting, but he doesn't inspire me as a Capricorn (this despite his being more Capricornian than me). David Bowie's triple Cap, too, I think, and I enjoy his nonsense sci-fi harmonic artistry. He's like, "I don't talk like a human, so I'll make ridiculous well-crafted space music. I get that. He doesn't want to share any insight. Of course, I kind of like his opposite, too. Eddie Vedder has written some devastating lyrics, and what a captivating delivery. He inspired a generation to mimic his voice. IP: Logged |

Really? Hmm, I think Dave has some of the most beautiful lyrics I've ever read. I was kinda shocked at his chart, thought there would be more "romance-y" stuff in there, but I didn't look at all the aspects and whatnot. I have a video of all his videos, lol, and at the end the director does a commentary, and he said Dave is one of the silliest, funniest people he's ever seen. He does make goofy faces and stuff.I was expecting Gem to be in there, he has that devilish twinkle. I like Bowie for the groove, but I don't see his lyrics as "all that, " I mean they are okay, nothing totally emotionally moving or anything. Eddie though, yeah, the boy can write. Can he ever!! And his delivery is beautiful, so much emotion in his eyes, he looks like an old soul. I guess that is a silly thing to say, who knows what souls look like, but that is what comes to mind. I wonder as I write this, why the Caps in my life have had so much trouble emoting one on one, even my girlfriends, but we have these wonderful musicians of that sun. Maybe it's easier to write it to the world, than to say it to one person??? IDK, just pondering... It's late, and I'm going to fall asleep to what looks like an interesting movie, called, 'The Eighteenth Angel', one of those dark religious movies I so adore. Have a great day tomorrow. IP: Logged |

I just had a big fight with my little Cappy. Crikey, you guys like to carry it on, don't you?Off to Manchester tomorrow to watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on the stage, a spot of shopping, then off to see my Bro in Yorkshire. When I get back I have booked an extra day off to start getting the house ready for our annual house-renters. A bit fearful as I got myself involved in a 'triangle' of sorts when they came last year. Don't know how I am going to deal with that one!!

Yes, Scorpio, I really did live in Naples, Napoli, as you said. My first husband was in the Navy, and we were stationed there, for what was to be 3 years. We broke up after one year, and I wanted to stay. I was working in this fabulous pub, making more money than the hubby, and I wasn't AT ALL interested in moving home. I had myself a roomate from MANCHESTER, who came to Italy for work. Anyway, one day at the pub, two Italian Nationals came in and handed me a plane ticket. I said, "I don't want it, I'm staying here." They said, "No, your husband has filed for divorce, and you cannot stay, without reason." I said, "Well, I guess I will just have to miss that plane then won't I" They said, "Sure, go ahead, but then we have the right to deport you. Will we put you on a ship, probably headed straight for Russia, and we are not responsible for what happens to you after that." This was 1985. I got on the plane, very reluctantly. I still miss it, all the time. *I took my dogs for a run today. Didn't realize I was still able to run. That was weird!! Brain said, "ok, dog wants to run, go feet!!" Feet said, "huh? You want us to do whaaaat??? " I did it, though.. Whew, that was exhausting, but fun, and so, I think I will do it again tomorrow. (O: IP: Logged |

hey Gypseeand there we come full circle! I love your stories. My brain behaves like that too. That's exactly how I started running after 15 years abstinence (I should qualify that with - running very short distances). One part of my brain told my legs to go, and seemed quite amused by the result, but then another part said 'whaaat? are you mad?? look at yourself! My bust is not suited to the activity. IP: Logged |

Ha! That is exactly what it felt like, Esk, my brain to feet conversation. For a second there, I thought I was going over head first. But, the feet remembered what to do, although, they were a little sluggish. I wasn't really dressed for it, and my pants started falling off, so, I must have been quite a sight, running Shih-Tzu in one hand, other hand holding up pants. LOL!AG, you are being recommended for modship in LLC2, you may want to go read there.!! IP: Logged |

I hope ghani still comes to visit us. Yeah, I saw the nomination. Not my first, nor likely my last. I'm not sure if Randall's buried the hatchet on me. I kind of feel like I do a fine job of Moderating without the title. Since [the time] I've stopped doing data entry today, my index finger on my right hand has been intermittently twitching. Gypsee, I meant to tell you my favorite line to sing along with Dave Matthews is (and I only know his radio songs), "I am no Superman that's for sure...". It's kind of a great line, because it suggests that someone may feel inclined to think of him thusly, and in the same breath that he acknowledges it he modestly humbles himself from it. It's kind of the Saturn way, or maybe it's my Virgo Moon that relates. People can think you're as bright as the sun, but there's a danger in going along with that assessment. IP: Logged |

Where I rehearse the play, and practice improv is a fairly new community center that has a 100 seat theater, a small police office, community classrooms, a gym, a library, and a satellite community college campus. I arrived early tonight, and I've just been eating in the courtyard. There's a metal artwork out here that just made it's presense known. It's kind of windy today, and this metal sculpture has kind of a football-shaped thing at the top. It's an open shape, not closed in or encased. From it's spokes or ribs or whatever they'd be called, there are strings strung and pulled tightly to the base. The wind is causing their vibration, and it's making a mildly discordant noise. I like it. I don't know that I've ever thought of using wind to vibrate strings before.IP: Logged | |
