I will skip the obvious innuendo, as that would suggest an intimate knowledge; but lets's face it, it was only dinner.I have have seen so many of those science programmes that seek to prove this...when they play dance music people work faster or exercise harder, when they play classical people get less stressed and are more relaxed. I guess anything that can touch you so deeply has to be considered seriously. I know that music can have a direct effect on my emotional state and the choices I make (though I accept that this may be linked to subconscious memories/experiences). IP: Logged |

Only dinner!?! But you paid for it! That's gotta mean something. (Today's work day is the easiest thus far this week. An anomoly for month end.) I was watching a comedy spy show last night. Maybe you know it? It's called "Chuck". Anyway, he's got this computer in his head, and it was making him go a bit crazy. His brilliant scientist father, however, also had one of these computers in his brain, and he created a regulator to keep things working properly. That's part of what sparked this thought today. Never heard of it, but that kind of freaks me out. I guess someone could control my mood, to a certain extent, if they were clever. Please don't take offence, it wasn't the dinner date, but I am likely to be awol for a few weeks. Will pop in when I can. Nite nite x IP: Logged |

I haven't read the last few pages, so I hope you are all well. I watched 'The Wrestler' tonight. I love Mickey Rourke. Anyway, GREAT movie, I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. How are you AG? I miss you. IP: Logged |

so...ummm....yo. Yeah I haven't seen that movie Gyps. And I'm a bit of a movie buff. Last movie I saw was Iron Man II with my midgit. Hey, my daughter is in town for a couple of months! I am SO happy So are you still doing the play AG? I was on FB earlier today very briefly and saw the pic of your cast..very cool. You might get a kick out of checking out one of my friends who does gigs dressing up as various characters. His name is Eric C (can't remember how to spell the last name). But he's an oriental dude. I LOVE the way this guy puts his outfits together. His big one is Elvis, but he has an outfit for the little kid from the movie UP. Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say hello

No, the play is over. Kind of sad that it only runs for two weekends after we'd been preparing for it for four months.I'm gonna do myself a solid tonight, and hop into bed now. It's not quite 10:00 here. I've been meaning to get more sleep all week. IP: Logged |

I wish everbody a good weekend!Today I asked myself and my colleages a question. And right now I'm gonna ask you the same question. What is the difference between willpower and determination? This because they say scorpio has got willpower and leo is determined. IP: Logged |

Willpower is about self-control.Determination is about getting what you want. That's what I think. IP: Logged |

AG, I agree. It's a good anwser. I can say something more, buth I don't want you to get arrogant. Or do you have enough willpower not to become that or are you determined never to become that? WinkAway, I like your example: "I bought that candy with the determination to eat it all, but I had the willpower not to." LOL
Hello Evanski, sounds libra like...I'm still undecided on whether I was good (only eating half), or bad (buying the thing in the first place)?

Ha! yeah, I see it Wink! So, my Mom went to this psychic, who does like 'John Edwards' kind of readings. And the psychic said that my Mom was too apprehensive for the spirits to come to her yet, so she gave my Mom a reading, and it was all about me. Mom had to call me and yell, "Why is that your life is so much more interesting that even psychics want to talk about it, and I get nothing!"
haha! Sorry Mom. She wants me to go next week. Gulp. I might. Hope you all are well. IP: Logged |
