Not sillier than me.

I think I'm going to San Francisco this Halloween.

If there is someone in a furry rabbit costum talking to AG and saying "guess who I am"
It's proberbly me.

BTW: Did you know that David Bowie once wanted to be a mime before he discoverd music.

Excellent! Now I need to get my Irish, and Kiwi Scorpio friends to come visit.

No, I didn't know that about Bowie. Seems like a bad career choice.

and maybe by the time I get there you will be bored with the idea of meeting relative strangers.......boo hooooooo

Want to do Pacific Highway south (maybe 2 nights) loop back to Yosemite (1 night - booked) and then stop over at airport for morning flight to Denver. Where should we stay on Pacific Coast?

Santa Barbara is the first place to come to mind, though I'm not positive I've ever been there (seems likely that I have been).

Monterey, Carmel, and Santa Cruz are all coastal, though they're fairly North; just an hour or two outside of San Francisco.

You could look up San Luis Obispo. I think that's coastal.

If you want to go all the way down one day, and come back the next, then San Diego's the southern-most big name city. Not quite all-the-way-down to San Diego is La Jolla. That's a nice place.

I'm now getting on my map app.

Los Angeles and Orange County are coastal. I grew up in Orange County. My older sister's family is there as well as my uncle's family. Disneyland's in Orange County (if you want amusement parks there are two others in that area as well).

So, remember that one time when you said isn't it redundant to put the symbol # before you write the actual numeral??

I've noticed lately (myself included) that people say, so and so is their BFF Forever. You shouldn't need the forever in there. But if you say just BF, it seems to imply boyfriend.
Ok, just one of those weird observations that happens when you hang around with too many teenagers.
Miss you all.

I find the psychology of shopping fascinating. I am a brand addict, and I wonder why...it must be rooted in childhood. I do remember always being the last family to get something, but when we did it was the 'best'. I think I was always taught that buying cheap was a false economy and the concept has become so entrenched that when I try to buck against it I am always uneasy with my purchase!

Did I miss something - what is 801st?

Oh, hello there.

Last night was quite alright. We went to a club where they play house music. I don't
like house music. I only can listen to it for at least two hours, than I want to leave. My friend likes it though. Most of the people were younger than us.So those house parties are not something for me.

I see you've posted another article. I like that, the last one was interesting!

LOL, i guess i'm a bit of nerd i like reading articles more than dancing on house music.

By getting older you learn to appreciate yourself more I think. Buth how boring if you wouldn't be surprised about yourself anymore.

801st post. She was indeed being silly.

Nice to see you Gypsee!

My new Cap/Gem friend is a brand addict, too. He claims to be extremely brand loyal, but he won't give up his reasons. With that stellium in Aquarius, they probably aren't very politically correct reasons I imagine.

That's kind of cool that your family always held out for the best. Does that mean you will rent that apartment in San Francisco that you showed us? It looked pretty nice.

I personally prefer to buy specifically, and I do prefer the best. However, being a man of slender means I must settle for less than the best often.

If my situation changed I would buy with not only an eye for the best, but also the most interesting. I like having things other people don't have, and have never heard of. Here's an example:

Virtually no one I've demonstrated this item for has ever seen or heard of it, yet it easily puts out the most amazing sound for it's yo-yo size.

Can't get that link to work.

AG - that apartment is the 'cheap' option! I like nice hotels, but I guess you won't have seen the price of a nice hotel in SF?

The problem lies in convincing my parents. They would like to be close to public transport, so would prefer a city centre hotel. The guy who booked my flights was trying to talk me into the 'W'?

Anyway, I am leaving that decision for a few weeks, and taking some of the smaller chunks first. I have booked the hotel at Yosemite Falls - astronomical, but it's only one night!

OH! Is that out of your window, or were you somewhere else? If I showed that to my daughter she would be coming to sleep on your floor! What a fantastic vista.

That's out of our dining area window. Not the first time I've seen deer out here, but I don't usually catch them this close to our house. I didn't know they would eat ivy. We also have wild turkeys around here.

I would imagine hotels in good parts of the city are quite expensive. I don't regularly check them out, no.

Wow, Facebook makes quick work of uploading photos these days.

I prefer quality. About new things I'm conservative. What's that what your trying to sell me? Frown, frown.
I mean I wouldn't impulsively replace a good thing for something new.
Over the years I've learned that sometimes I try something new and than finally come back to
my old things. So white cars are in fashion now, buth I know I will always love the dark grey and dark blue colors
for a car. I'm very classical. It's not that I'm afraid of something different.
I would have the nerve to wear pink jeans, buth i will always love my blue jeans and come back to them. I chose what I love.

BTW: that so sweet, the pictures. That's a nice view.

Thanks Caroline and Peri.

I just installed my photography software on my new computer finally, so I'm going through the pictures I've taken since having the new computer. Last night I posted my pics from my trip to Lake tahoe for the 4th of July.

AG About the song, the singer is singing about an very old man. Buth AG your not that old yet. I liked the song, because its about growing older. Just wanted to let you know! Buth now i think of it the singer is actually singing about his father. Nahh, maybe not so good a song for your pics. Buth it's a beautifull song tough.

That's ok. Still thoughtful. One of my favorite sentimental songs about getting old is Everthere by Elbow. Such a great song.
