There are lots of those spooky kind of things happening at the moment.

But, alas, still no photo!

Every now and again I find myself voluntarily doing something tedious. Tonight I started recording all of one program's drum samples, so I could use them in another program. I have no idea how many there will be in total. Could be hundreds.

...but I need the sounds. The second program is a really easy to use drum machine. It's much easier to construct an elaborate drum beat using this program than the first.

See.....spooky.

I mentioned that I was cleaning my decking (and burnt my neck?) - it took 6-7 hours. Well today I decided 'in for a penny, in for a pound' and that I should oil it all. To make matters worse I decided to use a tinted oil, so it's one of those jobs that once you have started you have to finish. Well, a further 6-7 hours spent today and I am no where near finished. My back is killing and I have burnt my neck AGAIN. I wish I had never started - it's so tedious!!!

Today i've been very angry. In june I finished my law bachelor. The university told me i'd recieve a letter tird week of august, to tell me my bachelor certificate was ready. Today I called the university to say i didn't recieve the letter and asked if my certificate was ready. They said yes, you can come and get it. So i went to the university. There they told the certificate wasn't ready yet and i'll have to wait for the letter. It made me very angry, i could give someone a knock-out. Next week my master colleges already begin. I decided to try to go for master. So far so good i'd say.

TURKEY
Shared Blessings

The Turkey is the symbol of sacrifice.
It give life so others may live.

Many saints and mystics have Turkey as a totem.
With a Turkey totem, you have transcended self.
You act and react on behalf of others.
This act is not a sense of moralism or guilt,
but a deep knowledge that all life is sacred.
What you do for others, you also do for yourself.

To have a Turkey totem is a true gift.
Its gift may be spiritual, material or intellectual.
Through giving to others will you reach your own goals.

The Turkey is linked to the third eye,
the seat of feminine energies within us, and the center for higher vision.

Turkey is also the symbol of the Mother Earth and her abundant harvest.
All of Earth's blessings and the ability to use them to their greatest advantage
are part of Turkey's teachings.

You mentioned it awhile back, and I just wasn't sure if you were actually coming.

I'd be happy to meet you. I wouldn't have too much too contribute to your trip. I could maybe help with accomodations, but that would probably be the extent of the help I could offer.

Well, I don't have much time. Just the last days of octobre. Halloween is octobre 30th. What exactly do people at haloween? Is it only for children or adults? Early octobre i'm busy. Flying Tickets are a lot of money for a week stay. And what's the accomodation gonna cost me? Has your house a room for me? Will i have a good and safe time for that money? I'll like to meet you to, buth curiousity isn't a good starting point from what i've learnt before in NY. Will you be a guide for a lonely tourist?

I personally don't usually do much. There are Halloween parties and so forth. I'm sure people will be dressed up and partying in the city. I have a couple friends that are very connected with what's going on in San Francisco, so I could definitely find something happening.

My house does have a spare room, but currently it's cluttered with so much of my roommate/landlord's stuff. I don't know if it would be habitable in time (or if you're tolerant enough to enjoy a sofa). If you really wanted to come out, I could see if my Dutch friend would like some Dutch company. He's a Cancer, so I think you would get along easily. He's divorced, and he's an orthodontist, and he's got a teenage Scorpio daughter that spends a lot of time at his house. Nice guy.

I would do my best for a visiting tourist, but I won't have any real vacation time as I'm taking a week this month, and another in December.

I wonder what Rob would think of me setting him up with my international friends. I'm sure he'd approve.

Wow! I just got on board a busy train, and was able to get a seat! Yay!

Someone fainted in the office today.

And have you told Rob already about your plans to turn his home into a bed and breakfast?

Why did they faint?

No, I haven't told Rob yet. Should I? Actually, you and Eskimono can check out Rob on my Facebook page. VDB are the initials of his last name.

I told her I was going to the U.S.A. to meet a total strange man,
She fainted right away when I said that.

Now serious, this collegue works in the other side of the office. When I came in the room
she was almost laying in her chair. So me in my direct way said are you tired, your practically
layng in that chair. You should go home and sleep. Then I walkd to an other collegue whom,
I needed. There from a distant I saw it went very wrong with her, she fainted. Some collegue gave her
an energy drink before she fainted, buth that didn't help. So i think she fainted because she was very tired.

It would very difficult to come in october, because work wouldn't allow us to take days off
in the period from october until december. And i've got law exams during this period.
So januari is a better time to come. Eskimono are you going alone to SF?

Hey both

Yes - family (daughter, mum and dad) are coming too. We are doing San Francisco, down the coast, over to Yosemite, then on to Colorado. Late May/early June.

I know what you mean tho Caroline - my Mum and Dad will have a fit over me going to meet a strange man from 'the internet' - gonna have to think how I get round that one AG!

You're not going with the purpose of meeting a strange man from the 'internet'. You're going to visit one of the world's favorite tourist destinations. Meeting me is just a bonus hopefully.

No, I can understand any trepidation. It is a bit of a strange thing. All my Sagittarian planets are quite faithful, though. I generally have faith that things will work out, and not be too awkward.

Of course my record of meeting strangers from the internet is pretty good. I have a kiwi Scorpio friend that asked me to meet her friend, K, from Vermont who had won a trip to San Francisco. I did. 'K' and I got along splendidly, and 'K' moved here for two years to be with me. She did eventually move back, but it wasn't because there was turmoil between us. She felt bad about her mother living alone.

Good night!

Finally an easier day at work. Yay!

Eskimono, I've got another picture for you. The quality is terrible, because it's from my phone:

Saw this tiny lizard on my way home yesterday.

Oh, I guess the quality's not too bad. Just don't try zooming, because it pixelates pretty quick.
