Gah!! What do you mean "when I was a young man"??? You are!! It's kind of interesting because you are very practical and wise in the WAY of an older soul, yet there is this childlike quality you have. Evidenced by the "i'd like to take dance lessons". As though there is all the time in the world for any endeavor you could dream up. *editing to add: So, Obama is speaking in my home state today. I am gutted I couldn't go, and now I have to sit here and get status updates saying things like "This speech is making me physically sick"... WOW. Guess I didn't know some of my "friends" as well as I thought I did. WTH is wrong with people? They hated Bush, and now they hate Obama. It's disheartening. IP: Logged |

Esk,Well, the song hasn't really gone anywhere since before your trip. I still think I have the easy side of this deal, though I am concerned that I'll make a crap song. Ghani, quote: It's kind of interesting because you are very practical and wise in the WAY of an older soul, yet there is this childlike quality you have. Yup. I agree. I do really think there's all the time in the world to still go after any dream. I'm blissfully unattached to anything that would prevent me from doing so. Although there are times that my detachment does concern me a bit. My Gemini side coupled with that Capricornian reverse-aging, I'm still kind of waiting for certain people to take me seriously. The quiet, seemingly serious demeanor, and the totally conformist middle class soccer dad choice in clothing don't seem to be making much of a dent in getting people to understand just how old I really am. ______________________ Happy Birthday to PeaceAngel! By the way, Ghani, my Aquarian sister told me a couple years ago that she regularly started arguments with people in her life, too. She claimed that she'd start without a point, but by the time it was finished she'd have found one. I never really got to witness it, though. I'm just telling you, so you don't think you're alone in that.I sometimes wonder if I'll end up with an Aquarian at some point. IP: Logged |

I'd marry ya! Well, you know, in a different world. I think you would be well suited with a somewhat practical minded Aqua lady. You would both have the detatched thing going, and the weird dreaminess to keep it fun. IP: Logged |

Regarding your edit, MVM just posted something on facebook that Obama was messing with the press for April Fools. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.(Oh, and I've seen my own sister on Palin's facebook page. Talk about disturbing.) IP: Logged |

I guess I didn't realize that my friends were republicans. Not that that matters, but I am just annoyed at the comments. Some of them were racist and words right out of our resident Right winger's mouth. Made me sad, I suppose. I get really heated when it comes to politics and lose my head a bit, so I generally stay out of it. I try to be so objective, but nobody ever seems to be on the same wavelength as I am and it always turns into a feud. IP: Logged |

YES IT IS! SUN IS OUT AND IT'S ABOUT 70 DEGREES! Yes, I meant to leave that all in caps. I was shouting in my head. Happily shouting, as one is prone to do when the winter had finally let got and spring is ACTUALLY here, no more of these random tricky warm days. How is the great West coast today? IP: Logged |

My condolences. I never went as far north as you are in Cali, but I reckon there are similar weather patterns to New England at times. IP: Logged |

We have had short glimpses of spring already (hence allergic reaction), and we can't really mind the rain. The last few years we haven't been getting much rain.IP: Logged |

WTF is right. What is that all about? I don't really go to Astro 2.0, so I haven't a clue. I scanned the Anonymous thread that was locked, I'm torn. My Uranian side is like "heck yeah, let's hear what you have to say" but my more practical side is like "ummm, better to keep that to yourself". LOL. I miss some hilarious stuff on this board. Yeah, they were, and I've never seen Belgz NOT want to talk sex, but I guess it's getting to be too much, because some guy wants to have a private talk with her about sex.Yeah, Mars in Scorpio is kind of over-sexual perhaps. I'm always ready. I've got an 8th house Sun and Jupiter, too, which gives a bit of Scorpio flavor to my personality. IP: Logged |

That's my thinking. Somebody is kinda getting the idea that they can transition an LL friendship into something else on IM? Just my impression. Anyway, here are some crazy looking animals!! Tarsier. Like, Yoda and a monkey and a naked old man all in one! Axolotl. Seriously. What is he smiling at? IP: Logged |

LindaLand has always been a fairly sexual place. It's a Scorpio, too, if I remember correctly. Those animals are interesting. My roommate is recording that Life show you've been watching. I've seen quite a bit of it. That first animal should be the mascot for an energy drink or something. I think the second is happy because it's amphibious, though that's just a guess. (I'm off work now...since 1:00 my time. Considering seeing a movie.) IP: Logged |

That's a good attitude! Preferable really. Well, I'm at the theater. Going to see Clash of the Titans. Matinee showing, which is nice. I thought I gave myself enough time to get some lunch, but I'm not doubting that now. I took WAY too long making my decision on what to order. Only the previews can save me now. IP: Logged |
