I liked the colours you used and the symetry in your painting.Last week I started painting again. I really got up in it. Every evening after work i was busy painting at home. I bought an edcuation book on acrylic. There are examples in steps you can copy. I just finish one. in the book there's also a planet painting exercise and they used the planet Saturnus. Maybe I'm trying that one sometimes. I like the practical part of painting also, to build something in steps. I like the structure.Using a contrast between light and dark in a painting is very important. Painting with paint and canvas is more fysical and exciting I think. I've just been invited to a sweet sixteen party of the daughter of my niece. My niece is a late january cap. I was actually a little upset with my niece, because see didn't anwser my sms's. I found not answering very upsetting. Just repling with the word 'busy' would have been good for me. Or even just a B. Buth she send me a card this weekend for my brothers birthday, so I'm fine now. I think when the right moment is there I should talk to her about this and how it makes me feel. Saying it to you doesn't solve the problem. I think communicating is very important in relationships.

How about this for a message...........Someone made me really really cross in work this morning. It was someone from another division that we have been working hard to build a relationship with. However, it seems that whenever we take a step forward, we then go two steps back - and the effort all seems to be on our part. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. I was about to just throw it all back at them. I was on the phone and my voice was shaking I was so angry. My desk it right by the window, looking out to sea. I was looking out of the window and a silver number 3 helium balloon floats past. At the same time the girl on the phone said 'there are three things about this for me....'. I knew it was a sign, so calmed down, and we managed to make some progress. I have just looked up the symbolism of the number 3 and it relates to unity and working as a team to create balance. How freaky! IP: Logged |

It was good. Restful and relaxing. Made a new four-legged friend. We had great weather except that the humidity was unbearable for me at times. It's a beautiful place.IP: Logged |

Hello AG, I like the idea of a 'vacation'. We don't call it vacation generally, we say 'on holidays' but 'the holidays' for you are things like Christmas and Thanksgiving aren't they.A vacation to me sounds like structured recreation complete with traditional items packed for the location; and one would come back refreshed with lots of holiday pics in a proper holiday picture album or even a video. 'Holidays', typically Australian, sound like a mish mash of probables where you may end up sleeping on your great Aunty's couch and sharing it with her dog, while spending your days in the backyard on some archaic vinyl sun lounge and arguing with your cousin about who won some distant cricket game. Oops, or was that an episode from an Australian version of trailor park boys! Which makes me think of a story that I read the other day, from an American Catholic priest. He said that there had been a fire or some such in their normal accommodation and the priests had to take up temporary residence where they could. He took up with a family that had several children and was sharing the basement with the family pets. Anyhow, he couldn't stand it and was able to then live with two priests that didn't talk to each other - a much preferable situation for him. He was talking about co-habitation in general. I guess what I'm thinking is did you have a vacation by my idea of a vacation or did you have a holiday that may have even resembled the priest's - given the fact that you have a new found friend of the four-legged variety, ha! No, seriously, PeaceAngel and any Australians will hate me for that account of a holiday. Australians can of course holiday very well. I just find the terminology interesting in its connotations. Long time no see. Not sure if there was a question for me in there or not. There was a basement where I stayed, but I only went down there once. I didn't allow the dog into the room I was given at night. I can't really sleep with animals. I always think I'll hurt them if I move around or something, so it makes me uncomfortable. She was a sweet little dog, though. She goes from mellow to hyper in about two seconds if you get her red ball out. IP: Logged |

Hey Scorpio - yeah, cool hey?Things have calmed down. It has still caused me a lot of work, and noone will help me complete it, but I was in a much better mood today. Partly aided by yet another odd occurance...............I have been looking for a pair of purple heels to go with a dress. I found them, but they only had a very small size left, I couldn't order them online, I even tried another shop in the UK - completely out of stock. I parked near the shop today and on whim decide to go in for a look. There on the shelf was a solitary pair of the purple shoes in my size. I can only assume someone returned them. IP: Logged |

We're down two people in our already-understaffed department today.I have one follow-up appointment with the sleep doctor that I have to make. It's difficult to schedule at the moment. Improv is going great. Had a really good time last night, and kind of broke through one of my barriers. I've been reluctant to do "character work" as it doesn't really require a character to make a scene funny. But I'm being agreeable, and last night I apparently impressed everyone with this character I brought out. The perfect thing about my improv class is that I'm the most seasoned at it, so I'm kind of called upon to set an example, and I think that raises my performance, because I want to set a good example. It also builds some confidence into whatever I do. Dutch Rob expressed concern last night that my mention of his "bed and breakfast" turned you off, because that conversation on Facebook just stopped after I said something. I told him I didn't think so. I also said that you and Eskimono may be coming out sometime next year. Not sure what you mean about Nemo. IP: Logged |

Just bought a family membership to the Pacific Film Archive, so if any of you come visit me we can go visit it. It's in Berkeley, and it sounds like it's kind of a film museum of sorts. http://www.bampfa.berkeley.edu/ IP: Logged |

I'm defo coming! Accommodation booked and everything. My Dad has been using that Google bubble thing to walk down the street by the hotel - I refuse to do it cos it'll ruin the joy of experiencing it first hand. Each to their own I suppose. The cost of the trip is slowly mounting!!! It's the weekend - yay - it's been a long hard week this one. IP: Logged |

Do you mean "walk" down the street? It was strange, I was surprised to learn that it's Friday this morning on the news. It hadn't even occurred to me prior to hearing that. IP: Logged |

After making it I realized that I should have done the background separately, and then given the heart a different texture. I'm still playing, and trying to learn. I'd never brought art into a photography program before, so it's interesting to what can happen.IP: Logged |

Funny, you said something and the conversation stopped. I just had nothing to say anymore. Btw still not so used to communicating with Facebook. I shall send him a facebook friend invitation. Buth still I think it's maybe better to stay in a safe hotel than in some strangers home. You see the problem, you know what I mean. That's where the may be is coming from.
Oh, Nemo is from that old movie Where's Nemo or Who found Nemo? When a fish called Nemo was stolen out of sea. A dentist got Nemo. So you found some sort of museum in Berkeley.
