I will probably switch back to vector art soon, though, because I've asked my mom whether creating a fabric for my sister was a good idea for Christmas. She said it was, so now I need to come up with a design for the fabric.

I'd still like to do some artwork for my mom, too. I'm just conflicted about how to go about it. I know her preferred color pallette, but I just can't get a clear vision of what I'd like to do. Not much time left either.

I left my sunglasses in my friend's car last night. I feel kind of lost without them. It's so bright out.

No, not at night. I have sun damage to my eyes, so my eye doctor said I should always wear sunglasses. It's easier for fair skinned people to get sun damage to their eyes.

I wear contacts every day. I really need to get a new pair of glasses.

I also can't see far away.

AG, your flamingo is wonderfully done, but it lacks movement and a focal point, perhaps if you did a scene it would be much better...like if you had other flamingos and plants and the flamingos in a pond or something and they all were about to fly off and the wind is blowing and the flamingos are about to fly in the same direction of the wind...or something, that was just a suggestion (sorry, i took a gazillion art classes in school, lol)

That would be awesome. I just don't know if I have the time if I'm going to have it put on canvas by Christmas. I'm fairly new to vector art. That would be super cool, though.

I'm feeling like such a cheater in a myriad of ways now. First I'm doing art by computer, and then I'm also intending to use CanvasOnDemand.com for applying it to canvas. I don't know whether to blame my Aqua MC or my Gemini Rising.

It is cool that you're into doing it all with your art. Scorpio17 also paints. A scorpio that used to be here, PixelPixie, also painted.

you know i'm a scorpio? wow...am i that obvious? lol, but i never cared for paint as a medium, i always liked oil pastel the most for some reason...although one of my best pieces was ink

Not really. Just noticed somewhere. Probably in that thread where you guys were guessing my placements for Randall's. It's weird, back in the old days I'd participate in all the sex threads, but this new crop just don't feel right. I guess now that the topic is officially sanctioned it's lost it's allure.

I like the flamingo very much. The pink colours give that Miami feeling. Shows great atmosphere.
