My cucumber martini was like $11.50, though. That's a bit exorbitant. It did taste good. I love cucumber.I've never had a problem with the Cheesecake Factory's desserts or appetizers, but a few of the regular entres have been pretty terrible. The pad thai style pasta dish was disgusting. I used to get the broiled artichoke and a massive ceasar salad. Not sure if I ever had an entree either. The tuna app was good as well, and hilarious to see my Nana's expression when it was served. Pretty sure she is freaked out by raw fish. $11.50???? Are you sharting me? That's insane.. In this economy??? LOL. If it was satisfying though... IP: Logged |

C'mon Ghanima - us out of towners can only go by what's written on the tin! I did think it was odd that people would go for cheescake after a show....but you yanks are known for some odd customs I have just been to watch my daughter in a 'Help the Hero's' concert in our local church. It was freezing and the pew was hard.....my bum hurts now. No wonder the congregations are shrinking! Having said that there was a lovely community feel, and you can see how the place would fall apart without the 'old-timers'. Kind of made me wish I believed in God.....it would give me something to do in my old age (a long way off, I might add). I am opening a much needed bottle of wine and curling up for a girly night watching the X Factor semi-final...............funny that that means bugger all to most of the people I am speaking to here! How the world is shrinking. IP: Logged |

Hi Eskimono,I always like to curl up on the couch and watch lazy a program like X factor. In our last show a girl had to leave the contest. She was a good singer, buth to stiff and not lose enough with dancing. She was to modest and not acting like a sex bomb. I guessed her starsign right. Indeed a Capricorn. It's cold overhere and much snow has fallen. I'm inside my house alot and eating lots of chocolate. I think I'm gaining weight at the moment. OMG i'm getting fat.I don't want to become like the Americans. Ahh,don't hit me....... IP: Logged |

Hiya Scorp...we have a contestant like that, amazing voice but doesn't move...but she's just come on and nailed it this week. Our snow is starting to melt, but there's still enough of it to justify chocolate on the couch! No odd emails from you AG IP: Logged |

Fortunately we haven't had to communicate via that email address. I enjoy being a homebody myself when I've got the time. Just realized that the White Elephant party I'm attending starts at 6:00! I know I've still got some time, but I've gotta get busy! IP: Logged |

A White Elephant party is where you bring a gift that is just some junk around the house that you'd like to get rid of. You wrap it up as a gift. Everyone in the party brings one. Then you pick numbers which will establish the order people get to pick gifts. The first person picks whichever gift they want, and unwraps it. The second person then gets to either steal the first person's gift, or open a new one. If the second person (or any subsequent person) steals a gift from a previous person, then the person that was stolen from gets another turn immediately where they can either open a gift or steal a gift. A gift can only be stolen three times.IP: Logged |

Oh, that's strange. Usually I get an email notifying me of responses. A recent change in my profile after that email account got hacked might be the culprit. So now I'm pretty desperately late in putting my fabric design in for processing. Ships in 10 business days. That's rough. I'm on it tonight. Here's my first design. My Aqua sister is taking up quilting, and this is her color palette. IP: Logged |

Ok, only on design two of the evening, but I think this may be it. I've discussed it with my Libra roommate.Notice the dots. They're in a pattern. It's not a tough message to crack. (It is a vertical message, not horizontal.) I really hope this turns out alright. Now that I've read about how it won't necessarily be true to the screen, I'm a little nervous. Roommate made an interesting observation about the first design of the evening. She said that it appeared to have green in it, and noted that it might be an optical illusion caused by the red. I agree. She didn't like the star either. I figured out why I wasn't getting notifications. Since I had to change my password to that account, I needed to update the password on my phone, which I hadn't done until last night.

I agree. It is a bit cold. The purpose is for a quilt, so hopefully it will meld well with whatever other fabrics she picks. Those are the colors of her bedroom. Being an Aqua, she can probably handle a colder theme.I hope they'll both be delighted. Generally...I think people like being the object of my Christmas concentration. I once created a very difficult wrapping for a gift for my brother. It was encased in plexiglass, and then the plexiglass casing was put into a metal box that you had to unscrew to open (I worked for a company that made signs, so I had all the resources to create it). No one in my family will ever forget that gift, and it was just a video game. The only thing I feel bad about is that I'm not able to do something special for everyone every year. IP: Logged |

Hi AG,This afternoon I got a real astro gift. I went to a new hairdresser. She works alone in a new hairstudio. And i know how you love......Sag girls. And she was a real Sag with asc sag to. That's a double. She was very open and kept on talking. To be honest I was so tired when the job was done. Imagine a little white rabbit (me) riding a wild horse. She knows about astrology, so we had a not stop talk for three hours. I told her about you and that she's probably your dreamgirl. Sorry, she's has a aries boyfriend. Before she started the studio she worked as a hairdresser on luxuous cruiseships all over the world. She's got stories to tell. And how sags can be to honest, not meaning to be hurtful. She sometimes makes people cry because she's giving an honest opinion about their hair. Yeah, It was a real astro gift i got this afternoon. IP: Logged |
