I'm a prude. LOL. It's weird, because I've gotten myself into all sorts of sketchy and questionable situations because of my sexuality, but I am really quite shy and reserved at times also. Must be the Cappy Venus... Sort of practical and prudish? Does that make sense? I'm not into PDA type stuff, I guess having those intense flirtations with words do it for me, not so much with the touchy feely in public. But I am a toucher in private. I could spend hours exploring. All the Aquarian energy is awfully inventive, but I am hindered and self conscious these days. OMG, did I really just say all that? So, how was the movie? IP: Logged |

Hey, Ghani, waaaaaiiiit, I wanna know more about cappy/venus, someone I'm involved with has this. He was def into PDA though.umm, so does someone talking nasty to you bother you, I mean if you are in a relationship with them?? Cause, he really seems to like it. But I can be over the top, so I wanted to check. Sorry for the mini hijack AG, I've been dying to ask someone that, and I know where your Venus is at, it's hanging out with mine. IP: Logged |

You didn't make yourself sound like a prude in that sex addict thread in LLC. I get the impression that Aquas are quite horny people, both the males and the females. I knew an Aqua girl who said she once wanted to find out how many times she could orgasm in a day. Too bad I didn't know her in real life. I'm fine with PDA typically, but I'm also fairly choosey about who I'm with, so I'm not likely to go for someone that's going to embarrass me or something. Rereading your description of yourself, I do think I get it. Being a Capricorn that push/pull is one thing I can readily empathize with. Aquarians are co-ruled by Saturn, and it seems to me that I can sense that bit of Capricorn nature within them. They are at once quite conservative, but they do have that Uranian wild side. I've mostly been hindered and self-conscious where sex is concerned my whole life, but there is a caveat in that I do have a certain faith that things will work out, and I'm quite confident in my ability to make a good impression. A lot of people are self-conscious about sex off and on consistently. Some sessions are more relaxed than others. I don't know. I think it's normal and ok. (If it isn't normal, then it must be that my Venus conjunct Neptune can smooth over just about anything.) I don't know the last time I was with a fixed Sun sign woman. Flirtations yes, but actually had a relationship with...I'm not sure I ever have, and I think it's because I don't understand how they get together with people. You all seem reserved when it comes to getting together with people. I like to see the subtle hints that I'm in, but I get the impression that fixed signs would rather act aloof than allow another person to think that they're interested. I think maybe it's a game of chicken with a fixed sign, and the fixed sign always wins by making the other person make the first move. Do you think that's right? Speaking of chicken, the only breast my mouth will be on tonight is the Caribbean jerk chicken I just made for myself. Yumm... You'd have heard it if the movie was good I'm sorry to say. I'm also sorry my response is so late in your time. See you next time. IP: Logged |

Oh, it's quite alright Gyps! Jump right in! I wouldn't ever consider your posts to be hijacking. Anything goes. This chicken is delicious. I did let it get a little cold, but it's still quite tasty. Yup, my Venus is at 10 degrees Sag. I was coincidentally looking at your chart a few minutes ago. I'd actually gone to see if I have ghani's. I don't, so I looked at your's instead. You've got a lot going on around my Moon/Pluto conjunction. Also, my Mercury is exactly where your Sun/Venus midpoint is. No wonder you hang out here. IP: Logged |

Morning,Speaking of chicken, the only breast my mouth will be on tonight is the Caribbean jerk chicken I just made for myself. Yumm... funny AG,can't you say any nice things about the fixed signs? Be careful for some lovely scorpio revange. Yeah, there is so much to say about the sex subject. My mars in cancer, brings the romance and sensitivity in. My mars is in house 9, i don't know what that means? The movie Bitter Moon from Roman Palanski is all about sex. It's an interesting movie. And i also find the remarks Linda Goodman makes in her books interesting. Don't go for the sex to easily, make it special. Happy easter everybody IP: Logged |

Well, you were the first person I talked to here! I mean besides being welcomed in my thread and stuff.Yeah, I remember reading something you wrote, and just wanting to talk to you. There was "something about Ag." LOL. Doesn't surprise me that Merc is involved. I'm having a Merc synastry with someone these days and it's great. I'm starting to think all the stuff I really liked before was overated. I mean, at the end of the day, you really just want someone to talk to, and someone to listen. Right? Plus I think attraction is very much sparked off of what is "said." My ex was a very, very attractive guy. But, umm, a bit lacking upstairs. It used to wear on me if we were around each other for a few days in a row, only I didn't give it that much consideration because it was such a strong attraction in other ways. Oh, well, live and learn. I still come across old threads that you've posted in, and they make me smile. IP: Logged |

Gypsee - I can only assume that AG missed your thread, as cleary he would have been very concerned about your demise had he seen it. I think he should be flattered that you would choose his threat to haunt! I hope you are feeling a bit better soon - just remember, once Spring is over it will be Summer!!Cappy Venus here too. I think it keeps me from being a slapper. As a Scorpio Sun with Aries Mars, I have realised that I come across as having an obvious but latent sexuality - with no effort on my part. I have got myself in some tricky situations in the past with male colleagues, and have only just come to realise why. I would say, for this reason, no-strings sex seems to be readily available to me. I think my Venus keeps me reserved and cautious enough to handle my sexuality appropriately. I am not a prude, but I am very choosy about granting access to the lady-garden I like physical touch, but am not into PDAs - but I'm not sure which bit of my chart that may be down to. Scorpio - I agree, I think it's time we started some Capricorn bashing, don't you?? Good morning AG http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WumSB0vZ5l8 except it's not!!! Oh - and I find it IMPOSSIBLE to make the first move. It's not a 'winning' thing, as by not making the first move one is more likely to 'lose'. I guess it is a fear of rejection/failure, my instincts are fairly strong, but I still doubt them. I am generally attracted to people who have the confidence to perservere with me. I think it indicates to me that they are not scared by me and will not expect me to assume charge/control. IP: Logged |

I think it's more a prudish attitude when it comes to talking about sex in detail with people. I'm a sexual person, that's true. I am a "reformed" promiscious (spelling is not my forte) person. My story is stupid and complicated, and I'm trying really hard to live in the moment and STOP thinking about the grass is always greener situations, which I used to do all the time. Well, I would think, briefly, then act. Gyps, I am as they say "a lady in the sitting room and a ***** in the bedroom", so yes, dirty talk is all good by me. Also hair pulling and other manners or sort of sensual violence. Weird, can't believe I'm saying this. AG, I'm not in the category of not making the first move. I've done that many times. I put it out there and usually only pursue if I get a warm reception, but I'm not afraid to at least try. Leo Moon? IP: Logged |

Wow! Look at all of this activity!I'll answer in order: Scorp17, I do have nice things to say about fixed signs. I just just want to know if my theory is right. Looks like Eskimono kind of confirmed it for me. Gypsee, quote: I mean, at the end of the day, you really just want someone to talk to, and someone to listen. Right? Plus I think attraction is very much sparked off of what is "said."
I agree. Eskimono, quote: Gypsee - I can only assume that AG missed your thread, as cleary he would have been very concerned about your demise had he seen it.
It's true that I don't always go into her thread, but she did announce her death here. I caught that. Is it not a good morning, or is it just not morning? quote: Oh - and I find it IMPOSSIBLE to make the first move. Yeah, that's what I thought. I must have had at least one fixed Sun girlfriend in High School. Lots of guys tried to get her to go out with them, but she relented to me. She was a great kisser. I don't think I've listened to the Boo Radleys before. Seen the name. I don't think I would have expected a song like that from the name. Ghani, quote: I'm not in the category of not making the first move. I've done that many times. Can't say I know them well - the song just popped into my head and was fitting. But the morning here was not beautiful, it was damp and cold. However, I thought the morning there might be more beautiful. We have been toying with visiting SF for 3 years now. When is best time of year? IP: Logged |

I would go with spring, summer, or fall. San Francisco is tricky, because as Mark Twain is tributed as having said, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." Apparently, he didn't actually say that, but the saying has persisted even without someone to tribute it to. It's true that San Francisco can be nice on a summer day, but by nightfall you'll need a coat. When I go out there with a group that feeds the homeless, it's always quite shocking when the night is moderate, and that can happen during any part of the year as well. I only kept winter off the list due to the better possibility of rain.I live about 30 miles inland, where the weather's a bit more reliable, because it's a bit away from the water. IP: Logged |

AG - that is not entirely helpful! What you are saying is anytime really? My M&D want to go to NZ and want me and my daughter to go with them. I think she is too young to be on a flight that long, and if I were going all that way, I would want at least a month. I would go out of my mind spending that long with them. So the compromise was that we would see them half way there. I have always wanted to go to SF, so that was the deal. However, my dad (control freak Scorpio - go figure?) thinks it would be better to go the other way round the world and stop off in Hong Kong or Singapore. I don't think he is getting the whole compromise thing really??? Scorpio v Scorpio = no compromise = no action. So, I will book to do SF by ourselves, and he will sulk.....arggggghhhhhh. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I think I am saying "anytime really." The temperature can be unpredictable. Might be better to plan based on what you hope to do. I don't really know how much tourist-y stuff might be seasonal. Come to think of it, I've never really been responsible for any tourists here. The only tourist things I've done here practically as a tourist myself. When my gay ex-boss recently visited I learned for the first time about Beach Blanket Babylon (thanks to an email message from him telling of his plans), which is the longest running show in the city. I still haven't seen it, but at least I know about it now.IP: Logged |

The very loose and in my head plan is fly into LA, drive up to SF on that nice 'freeway'(??), SF, Grand Canyon/Las Vegas, that park with the big sequoia trees, maybe some camping, back down to LA, Disneyland. All of this, of course, in nice hotels with an open top car. Internal flights to suit etc etc. Simple really, no? Delusions created by living on a very small island. It gives me no real perception of scale. So, problems are a) cost b) scary trip with small child on my own. But these are never things to deter me. I will do it in the next few years. IP: Logged |

I did that very trip you just described, Eskimono, in August, and we froze our butts off!!!*Not much sunlight coming through those sequoia's you know? Plus the breeze off the bay is CHILLY. We brought only shorts and had to go buy jackets. Then we went to Nevada, and tried to swim. In Emerald Bay. HA! We ran right in and right back out!! Brrrr. (I can't believe you said hair pulling, Ghani, that is Mr. Pisces favorite!! COOL, I'll remember that, thanks! ) IP: Logged |

Well, Scorp17, I'm hopefully some more air conditioning for ya! Although I can be the pain in the butt sweat on the back of one's knees, too... I think with me, no matter what I seem to do, it's almost like I'm always a contradiction to myself. Sun/moon opposition does not help with that. I make a move in any aspect of life, it's bound to go against what one part of me wants to do or thinks is right to do. Screwed, basically. LOL. IP: Logged |

Had to look that term up. Interesting. Capricorn's is Sag. Let me figure out what it is for my Sun. Sun's is 24'43 Sag I'm trying to work out what antiscia means. Does it mean transits to the antiscia are benefic for the actual planet? Like if Jupiter crosses my Sun's antiscia should I perhaps be lucky or something? Likewise transits to the contra-antiscia are malefic? I think that may be the way it works according to: http://www.skyscript.co.uk/gl/antiscia.html My Sun and Ascendant are in contra-antiscia by sign. My natal Capricorn Jupiter would be contra-antiscia my natal Saturn in Gemini. Hmmm...more astrology stuff to think about. Just checked transits. Right now transiting Moon is in antiscia to my natal Jupiter. I'm apparently having a NN return today, too. IP: Logged |
