Oh no AG - I don't know his sun sign - I was asking 'Scorpio' a question! I would guess Leo, only because he looks a little like a lion.Scorpio - yes - horrible pain and now the nerve is bruised, so it will be pain-killers every 2 hours for the next few weeks. Lots of sleepless nights. I HATE dentists. AG - I am also not on track for Wednesday. I will accept my failure, but I really need to keep the motivation, and I really want you to do a song. Wadaywant to do? IP: Logged |

Good question. What would you like to do?You'd be proud of me singing and playing guitar yesterday in my room. Came up with a little something. Just one phrase really, but it was born out of some chords. It's really kind of astonishing how little I play these days. I'm astounded anyway. It was kind of cool that I found myself playing a moving bass kind of part whilst singing a separate melody. I question my coordination sometimes, because as I said I haven't been playing a lot recently. The singing melody was easy enough, however, so that might have facilitated that ease. Or maybe I just underestimate myself, now that I think about it, because one of my favorite covers to play is actually my favorite because it does have a lot of movement in the guitar playing. I just don't think of myself as anywhere near the realm of a John Mayer or an Eric Clapton. IP: Logged |

ha ha - you sound like my new boss! Everytime you ask him a question, he turns it back on you. He's a Aries.I would like 2 more weeks and I'll crack it (if I give up the wine again, which I should do if I'm main-lining nurofen). But I don't want you to think I'm losing interest - I'm serious about this!! I think I am on 9lbs, but fell off the wagon last week. IP: Logged |

I only turn it back on you because this means of motivation is foreign to me. I'm perhaps too used to doing everything solo, which only works for short periods of time (because my mind is always on to the next thing before I'm finished with what I'm doing).Aries are notorious delegators. They're undoubtedly good in leadership roles, because they are so intent on getting things moving in the right direction, but they do like to let other people do as much as possible. IP: Logged |

Yeah - he delegates all he can, but takes credit for everyone elses work, it can be quite annoying.I would never usually give this kind of commitment to someone. I am single minded and if I tell myself I am going to do something I will, equally if I decide to give up I will, for that reason I don't usually like to be beholden to someone else. This is working for me because you have invested time in something and I wouldn't want to let you down. I think it works cos I don't see you so I don't have the pressure in my face. My daughter went on holiday with her Dad today....I don't know what to do with myself!! IP: Logged |

Hmmm...I don't think so. Just synchronistic that they come on whilst I'm talking to you.Actually, somehow I got on to thinking about music royalties, and wondering how that works. I know some details, but I want to know the rest. I'm particularly interested in knowing whether people can set the royalty amount they get paid for radio usage of a song. Could you underbid your competition to get your stuff on the radio, or is there just some sort of set agreement that keeps everyone earning about the same on radio royalties? http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/music-royalties.htm IP: Logged |

Dunno how that works. You surely don't get royalties for each time it's played? That would be an administrative nightmare. How would you get yourself on a radio playlist in the first place? I guess your song is coming along so well that these things would be at the fore-front of your mind?! IP: Logged |

I think that if you're the songwriter, you do, in fact, get a royalty every time your song is played. It probably is an administrative nightmare, but the publishing companies take care of it. quote: I guess your song is coming along so well that these things would be at the fore-front of your your mind?!
Well, it may be a supplementary means of motivation. EDIT: I'm going so slow with my work right now. I still have plenty of time to finish, but I'm still surprised. IP: Logged |

Well... my new accent was a hit. May not have nailed it, but it's coming along. My military character was a bit weak last night.

The Travolta accent? I have so much to do but cannot get myself to focus and begin one task completely. These days suck! P.S., teething babies do exhausted mama's make. Maybe that could account for the lack of energy and focus.. My Aries asc is not in charge today, obviously. IP: Logged |

Yeah. It's not quite Travolta, but I think it is New York nonetheless. I was a little nervous about it, but I think I got through it ok. I even sang his little number with the accent, and now the other two characters on stage are supposed to wince at my singing. I think that will be funny. My favorite word to say in that character is "unnerving.". It's fun to say "unnoiving."IP: Logged |
