when i started this thread i had a ton of images, quotes etc in mind to share. then i suddenly hit a busy point in my life and have not had the time. when i do stop in i might spend a few minutes reading - or skimming and then feel like 'Meh.....bleh.....'.......and close the window w/o sharing anything at all. Maybe when i'm less busy and less stressed and/or feel more inclined to share.......then i will. For now i abandon my own thread. lol But i always love to see you guys here IP: Logged |

AG, i don't know why your sign had to be the one that snapped, but as a Taurus I totally understand mine and quite frankly am sick of being labeled the 'slow poke' of the zodiac.
& also When i finish off this large pizza after 3 jelly donuts and a milkshake for dessert, then i might be able to get back to this thread. (Sorry, a little sun sign astro humor that i could only share here and expect anyone to 'get'. In RL if i said that, no one would know wth i was talking about.

Astrology is fun. I went for an interview today at my old work. It was with a new executive, and he's an old Taurus. (I got his birthday out of my Taurus friend who's trying to get me back employed there. She's the HR director.) It went pretty decent. Now it's up to the plotting of my friend to close. My friend, by the way, doesn't like this new guy, though she had a hand in hiring him. She thinks he's too egotistical, and that he talks too much. He did try to milk information out of me the entire interview. It's difficult for a Taurus to maneuver without a lay of the land. He wanted to know everything my friend had told me with regard to this unfilled need at the bank. I obliged as much as I could, though my friend likes keeping things close to the chest. I wonder if a battle is ahead, or if my friend will accomplish as easily as she intends. IP: Logged |

i wonder if he has Merc in Aries. Sure sounds like it anyway.Anyway, a belated Congrats! on the job. What's going on now? on another note i thought this was cute: 15 Signs You're an Artist 1. Your sense of time is marked by how long it will take something to dry. 2. You describe the sunset using words like vermillion, amber, and ochre. 3. Your neighbor is excited about her new furniture, and you're ecstatic about your new easel.
4. You organize your closet, books, and pantry by color. 5. You haven't worn shoes in a week. And your socks have paint all over them. 6. You accidentally dip your paintbrush in your coffee cup, and drink it anyway. 7. You spread peanut butter on your toast with your fingers just to experience the texture. 8. You keep everything - EVERYTHING. Because one day you might use it for an art project or painting. 9. You find a blank canvas exhilarating and terrifying all at once. 10. You can't find anything to wear out for a special occasion because all your clothes are splattered with paint. 11. You always judge books by their covers. And magazines. And posters. And menus. 12. You visit the home improvement store to pick out paint swatches and get angry when the perfect Tiffany blue you're looking for isn't there. 13 You carry pencils instead of pens. 14. You named your children Frida and Pablo. And your Dog's name is Leonardo. 15. You can't be bothered with framing, so you slap the same gold Plein Air moulding on every piece. Now, back to the latest painting or drawing that you are working on. The next time you feel tied down to that same old gold Plein Air frame, visit pictureframes.com to see a wide, more diverse selection of Plein Air mouldings and other artist favorites like canvas floaters.
