I miss you too. You have my new addy and are welcome to email it any time.

You might have me confused with someone else regarding liking spooky stuff...I don’t remember the last time I watched a scary movie.. and I prety much abhor horror flicks. While I enjoy a good psychic medium checking out a house for ghosts, I do not like scary, spooky, over-the-top dramatic BS - people messing around with spirits just for show. I think the last time I watched a horror movie was when I was 5 and left the room. I don’t want to fill my brain or visuals with anything of that sort.

I do like to watch mediumship shows to an extent. Some of these “reality ghost shows” are very disrespectful to departed spirits. I’m interested in life beyond death, but not horror flicks. And I’m disappointed in the shows on TV out there now that seem to mostly terrorize the departed.

A lot of this stuff leaves you wondering....

I don’t know why I checked in tonight after not having done so in quite awhile, but it was nice to see this as I was browsing forums and seeing what goes on here nowadays. LOL.

I realized a long time ago that I can’t be a lurker, or else I’ll post (can’t just read and keep my yap shut LOL, so I just don’t check in at all.) Maybe I’ll check in once or twice a year to reminisce and see if “oldies” are still posting and what’s going on with y’all.

I miss a few “oldies” like you and teasel and Melody and juni, Zala, Faith, katalina (Cat), Dee, ....so many more. I’m sure youre all doing well. My dog passed away on April 15th. 7.5 yrs old. I’m still recovering from that one. She was diagnosed with epilepsy last summer. It was a bumpy road. i know she’s in a better place now and we’ll meet up again eventually.

So very sorry about your doggie. That's a heavy loss to go through. They can become such a part of our soul, and, we grieve.

Glad you are closer now, to someone who is a solid friend to you.

I don't remember ever getting your new email. Could you please email it to me? I miss you. Happy belated.

On my birthday, we went to the prison in Mansfield, where they filmed the Shawshank Redemption. I've been interested in ghost walks there before/ghost hunts, and missed out on one that night. I kind of want to go back, but also wanted to leave, because it was depressing, and felt disrespectful being there as any kind of "entertainment". So I don't know if I will. I felt spooked in the library, on the top floor, and had birds fly out at me from a bookcase in the chapel, which scared me, but other than that, I kind of rushed through.

I can see the lovely blown glass friendship ball hanging from a picture box on my entryway wall. The salt crystal tea light holder is next to my bed.

I remember when you found the body of your father on the floor of your shared home and some of the gory details of everything you had to clean up due to his decisions. I know what that did to your spirit. I saw how it changed you. I think of you often and hope you are doing well and things are better for you. You were always so strong.
