Hello to all forum members, from a 70-years-old male that has natal Pluto (at 16Leo34) opposite the forum's natal Uranus (at 16Aquarius55) ... and a Chiron-wounded Sun (at 27Scorpio41) ,opposite the forum's natal Saturn (at 28Taurus46).I am hoping that this will not result in me being perceived by other forum members as just a pain in the ass. (So, please do not hesitate to tell me if/when my comments seem to be confrontational rather than helpful.) The Davison chart of myself and the LL forum :- Graham IP: Logged |

Hi and Welcome, Graham! I'm female and 64. It's nice to have a another member with lots of life-experience. The description of your placements is a little confusing. You have Sun Taurus 28.46?? or is it a Sun-Chiron in Scorpio 27.41? Enjoy your stay at LL! {I'm a Gemini Sun, Virgo Moon, Sag Ascendant; Libra MC} IP: Logged |

Welcome, Graham! I love astrology, but think time is an illusion... Like the very life of us! How is it to have a sun-Chiron conjunction? Is healing a major life theme? My Chiron squares my Mercury-Jupiter conjunction (I don't remember what that means... Painful thought patterns, could it be?), opposite Uranus, sextile Venus and trine Saturn. I don't know if these are many aspects, it surely is all relative, but I find healing to be a life theme with me. What aspects does your sun form? (Along with Chiron)Cancer sun here, says howdy IP: Logged |

In "Chiron - Healing Body & Soul", Matin Lass asserts that the Saturn Trine enables Chiron to "provide increased opportunities for the healing of our wounds around father issues, authority, responsibility, repressions, limitations, restrictions, seriousness and discipline". ... The Venus sextile "gives us the potential to access our wounds and issues through relationships".The Uranus opposition is said to "shine a light on our Chiron wounds and issues". ... The Jupiter square indicates that "our inner childhood wounds are initially blocked, bottled up, and/or hidden". ... "Self-expression and communication can be extremely difficult/painful" with the Mercury square. ... ... So, the Chiron wound is Jupiter-Mercury"s childhood-conditioned blocking up of the ability/willingness to express your thoughts/views/ideas. ... And the other Chiron aspects just ensure that you experience plenty of opportunities to become an exceptional communicator, who is able to help/heal others that have communication issues. _________________________________________________________________ quote: How is it to have a sun-Chiron conjunction? Is healing a major life theme?
The conjunction is in Scorpio/3rd. It manifests as being unable to trust others to not "twist my words/distort my intended communications " (intentionally or unintentionally). ... It's a past-life issue; created (in a single lifetime) by experiencing regular beatings/punishment for (allegedly) having said something that "I" had not. quote: What aspects does your sun form? (Along with Chiron)
I have a Uranus-Jupiter opposition and a Mercury-Pluto square, with all 4 planets connected via semi-squares + sesqui-squares. ... The Chiron-Sun conjunction is qcx natal Uranus - so makes 12th harmonic aspects to that natal 8th harmonic configuration. In effect, Sun-Chiron uses the difficult experiences (created by Mercury-Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto) to test the validity of the issue/belief created by my past-life experiences. If you have an Uranus-Jupiter opposition and a Mercury-Pluto square, I would think Mercury-Pluto would also square Uranus-Jupiter... But I guess I don't see it.I don't know how to quote the text more than once and in parts, the way you did. I once asked, but no one knew to tell me how. So excuse me for not quoting you this way It is interesting you have both Chiron conjunct sun in Scorpio in the 3rd, AND Mercury conjunct Pluto. It intensifies the power of the communicative issue in your chart. Thank you for taking the time and bringing forth the knowledge concerning my aspects! You wrote I could turn having exceptional communication skills. Do you feel like you received a gift from Chiron, that the past life unfortunate circumstances grew, in this life, into an innate talent or a psychological strengh? I don't really know what harmonics are in astrology. Does it have anything to do with the aspect of the quincunx? IP: Logged |

Late Gemini Uranus opposite early Capricorn Jupiter. ... Mid-Leo Pluto square mid-Scorpio Mercury. [ QUOTE] "no space after [" ...
gives "no space after [" ... The Chiron gift is the ability to see when others are telling the truth - and nothing but the truth - but deceiving by not telling the whole truth. ... In the past life, "I" was too naive/trusting to see that type of dishonesty. ... In my current lifetime, it enabled me to succeed in a career involving the investigation of fraud. The qcx is a 12th harmonic aspect ... indicating a willingness to struggle. ... The 8th harmonic aspect (Mercury-Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto) indicates persistence. So my Sun-Chiron embraces the 8th harmonic issues/problems* as learning opportunities. [*If one persists with a thing beyond the point that others consider to be reasonable, it becomes an issue/problem.] IP: Logged |

Yes. Hi Ayelet.Use of the CODES. [img] [/img] quote:
If you notice, the first bracket is the [START] of a command for the computer to read and do--- until computer encounters the forward-slash/-- which is the computer-equivalent of a "stop sign". It marks the /end of 'where' you want the computer to end that code. Hitting the LL Quote icon does a *WHOLE QUOTE*. This feature grabs EVERYTHING that the other person had posted; will also add the name of the person who made that reply. .."Original post by.." Now... "sometimes" things appear a little wonky inside *whole quote*. That's because the computer is obeying "stop sign"-- which is the forward-slash "/". When you have *whole quoted*, THIS is the point where YOU, the human, get to 'go in' to "clean up" the captured quotes, and the computer's confusion with "/stop signs" within the quote. You already know this---------- * You can add and delete the BOLD. -code . * You can add and delete the italics -code. [*I]-code, [*/I]-code. So. The computer obeys the forward-slash as its stop-sign. Reads brackets as the [beginning] all the way to [/end]. IF the QUOTE has captured more than one reply-- i.e. replies within replies-- it will get confused with all the "stop-signs". Simply … go into the *whole quote* and "read" how the computer would. You can add [*/quote]-- (no asterisk) -- where you want to END a quote, and add your own comment. Then to continue, ADD
. IP: Logged |

Thanks, Graham!Thank you very much, mirage! I actually didn't know how to create bold and italics. Plus your explanation is really thorough. I shall try this some time to come. So, if I want bold letters I need to add -, and for italics I need to add [*|]- (Then, perhaps, add [*/|]-? IP: Logged |

Hi Ayelet… Totally my pleasure to teach you. Right after you read this post, I want you to do a Reply post. But you're NOT going to do that by hitting Reply on the bottom of the screen. You'll do that by hitting the little pictured-"quote" icon. Look for the red heart and look to the right after the red-inked date. Hint== It's the last picture-icon on that line. Hit that little picture-icon "quote" … Now. A reply window has opened, with a whole-quote of this writing. Examine the quoted material. * You should see the "b" codes that begin and end the BOLDED word. See it? * Now, read this line. See that the word italicized has the "i" codes on either side of it? This is how you can manually type in the codes that italicize any word or sentences you'd like altered in that manner, or how to bold any word or sentence or section you'd like to. You can ALSO 'delete' the B at the very start and the very end of the whole-quote reply, and after you've typed what you want, that person's reply will be regular and not bolded. This is the way that some people's posts look all mixed with half-bold and half-not. Are you clearer? If not, I don't at all mind going over it again. You Got This!! Quote and unquote is next. (same principle) IP: Logged |
