Hi everyone! I'm new here and basically a beginner in astrology. I've been lurking the forum for the past 2 months or so and finally decided to join. Thank you to Randall for approving my registration!I'm a Virgo sun, Leo moon, Scorpio Ascendant. I only started getting into astrology two years ago thanks to one of my friends. She helped me figure out my exact birth time. At first I was pretty skeptical about astrology, but once I read the descriptions of the planet/house placements on my natal chart, I couldn't BELIEVE how accurate it all was, especially when it came to my embarrassing character flaws and upbringing. It allowed me the opportunity to self-reflect and work on bettering myself for which I am grateful. I tried to get my synastry chart analyzed by an astrologer online a few months ago and they told me it would cost $175 US which I thought was insane  so instead I just decided it would be cheaper to learn how to do it myself. Googling synastry aspects eventually led me to this forum. I still have SO MANY questions as I'm starting to learn about the asteroids now. And I still find myself confused when it comes to understanding oppositions in synastry (is it attraction? is it hate? or is it both at the same time?).  Nice to meet you all  IP: Logged |

Welcome! You can always post the synastry chart or specific questions in Interpersonal Astrology for more insight. We have some people here who have been doing it for decades.IP: Logged |

Thanks for the warm welcome, Randall. I'll post my synastry chart/questions either this weekend or next week when I have more free time. I seem to be stacked with work this week! Looking forward to reading the opinions of people who've studied astrology for many years. IP: Logged |
