aah ok sorry! darn, I was hoping you were just being naughty  yeah I guess this viewpoint of hers of course demands that her partner has the same way of thinking to keep it balanced and no one getting hurt by it... I have been so extremely jealous in a past relationship that I've promised myself to never feel that way again (it's like being all black inside).. it's such a destructive feeling and sometimes I wish these things surrounding sex were just light and fun, you know? That will never happen for me though, so I guess I envy my friend that can handle it so easily (for her at least). IP: Logged |

Neither have i MVM- Scorpios & sex are synonyms, but i can't imagine a Scorpio who thought of sex like... say, an Aries would (just an example, i mean no harm!).Inevitably, i think that Scorpios are searching for some other-world-ly emotional, spiritual connection through sex. So Nyah, your friend who was unfaithful must have had other stuff in her chart that indicated that. I can understand a Scorpio who cheats when in search of that poignant connection, but i wouldn't imagine a Scorpio who could totally detach and not be sentimental about making love. Sounds sorta Aquarian or Capricornian to me. IP: Logged |

I had MANY friends could confide in--many of them born under the sign of Libra!
--The sexual/emotional connection (the two together) was difficult and scary due to childhood experiences. ALSO, as you see from my chart, that Cap Moon was in my 4th house....my Capricorn Mother really did a puritanical number on me about sex...between that & Catholic school, I was fairly conflicted.
So, I simply "got out of my body" & went WILD
I did almost have the ultimate experience with a Scorpio Sun or two...
Your questions are wonderful---making me contemplate things further..
One of these day, I may submit, fall in love, & act like a darn fool!!!--who knows, especiallu with Jupiter & Pluto in Capricorn.

Meta, I am a visual artist(probably all that Libra in my chart), & I also LOVE looking at your chart---it IS soothing---but I don't really understand how to read it---re. Sun, Venus, Moon signs, etc..
I'm especially curious since you said, synastry-wise we'd have some compatibility.
I love the questions...I'm that way, too. People use to say I was "too intense" so now, I'm just selective about who I allow to engage me because superficial conversation really turns me off!IP: Logged |

Capricorns are very good at *acting* detached, I've found. Masters.
The more emotional a situation is, the more detached they act.

Haha, well thank you MVM & BLKFox! I've never heard of a chart being musical let alone MY chart!BLK, You don't know how to read charts? Ah, well that's alright. It gets obscenely complicated sometimes! The compatability i mentioned exists in the synastry chart:  There would just be a lot of energy; we would get along well, and have a deep rapport. I don't know about Aqua, but Capricorns are not NOT sentimental. If there is one reason why they sometimes want to appear detached [to the unworthy ones, mind you], is because they're too sentimental and serious about their feelings.IP: Logged |

I believe it is difficult to be studious AND have a relationship ESP. if you have Cap Sun---these people are extremely orderly...first things first!!!

This thread and the comments within it tie in with something that I've been pondering tonight.I have Venus (and Pluto) in Scorpio. I am a few pages away from completing Star Signs. The section that I have just read is a great comfort to me. Linda's writing often is in this area and that is my very strong feelings about sex (and drugs and alcohol and smoking). It is as clear as can be in my chart yet unlike other things that I can pass off as one of those things - live and let live - these particular areas, the way I feel about them I genuinely feel are conducive to a more peaceful world. Ugh, am I making sense? What I mean is that my chart reveals without an ounce of doubt that I am detail oriented but I have no problem that other people aren't. We are what we are. My chart also reveals throughout that I am a loyal partner, that sex cannot exist without love, that I do not take a romantic relationship lightly, that I am not or ever will be sexually promiscuous (the list goes on) yet when I know that someone treats sex light heartedly I feel... wounded somehow. It's impossible to put into words because it's such an intense feeling with not a lot of thought involved. The same feeling accompanies drinking, smoking, drug use and, to some extent, diet. The best I can come up with is a spiritual drain... I have been dubbed a bore and a prude because of it. I doubt that I'm making sense though, so I will leave this here. Maybe sometime I will type out the part of Star Signs that I'm referring to. It'd be nice to know I'm not the only one as it feels like that  Which is why Linda's words are such a comfort.
