i agree with the gemini but i think not scorp, but leo. she was great at PLAYING queen, but though she was spiteful towards her enemies i don't think scorp was it...IP: Logged |

I thought Scorpio more because of this combination of determination and allure. To keep a man seduced for eleven years and lose him only after winning... there is something very Scorpionic IMO. But I can see what you mean by leonine influence. ------------------ No hesitation. No regret. No looking back. IP: Logged |

all the fixed signs are capable of that kind of doggedness, the reason i favour leo is because she was a born performer. did dances, plays, thought up great party themes and generally did the life-of-the-party thing to perfection. (also the determination was to be queen, not paramour!) of course she could have had scorp influence as well. as i mentioned she did have a spiteful streak, felt by a lot of people who were either ruined or ruined and beheaded...but henry did that sort of thing as well.IP: Logged |

Actually , ann was born aroung May , only the year of birth is not clear it seems. Taurus would make sense , sensual, determined and stubborn...IP: Logged |

well late may would be gemini, taurus WOULD suit her except for the intricate mental games she played with henry, although merc and/or venus there would account for that. i definitely feel there is some leo influence there too, asc or moon, maybe ..IP: Logged |

I am definitely convinced that there is Leo somewhere in Anne's chart, never thought of Gemini but it makes sense since she was charming, witty and sociable. Scorpio just seems a bit too obvious if you know what I mean. It would be interesting to see the aspects between Anne and Catherine.IP: Logged |

I've become quite a fan of the Tudors because of "The Tudors"! It looks like Catharine may have been a Sagittarius. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catherine_of_Aragon IP: Logged |

Well, the problem is that they only after their birth converted the calendar (Julian - Gregorian). But these are the right charts, according to the sources (astrotheme and Paul Westran`s book)

She does seem like a Gemini with a Scorpio influence, too.------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung I am my Beloved's.My Beloved is mine. Gemini makes sense with her wit, cleverness, and ability to play mind games. Scorpio fits the contemporary descriptions of her dark eyes and rise to power. The thing with Scorpio though, is wouldn't someone with prominent placements in this sign be wiser to impeding doom?IP: Logged |

^ Agreed....Imho, the only person King Henry loved was himself...He even treated his own children very badly...refusing to allow his daughter Mary visitation with her mother when she was dying....Failing to make a suitable marriage match for Mary...deeming Mary and Elizabeth as illegitimate..... neglecting Elizabeth after executing her mother...even his son Edward was said to have been kept primarily under strict lock down, due to Henry's fear of germs...Personally, I think that even if Jane Seymour his most beloved wife, had lived longer he would have also found some fault to complain about. From accounts of that time, it seems Henry had this odd tendency to idealize women then knock them off their pedestals upon whim. Perhaps his Cancer Sun and early loss of his mother impacted him psychologically. If he were alive now, he'd likely be classified under personality and/or mood disorders.... IP: Logged |
