Im just curious how this normally plays out for people. What have been your experiences? were you the 8th or mars?

I've had it in synastry. It's sexual, yes, but as the house person I've noticed you're willing to give the Mars person more of a chance in some way. It's like you make an exception for them. It doesn't always turn out well if the Mars person betrays the trust. They have a certain influence over you. Can get ugly if intentions aren't good. But it's very sexy too.

i am the mars, and the others mars is in my fifth

well there were so many other overlays and apsects...so i really dont know how one can separate and say this was the effect of this patcular configuration............
but we can be termed as v close as in it feels (at least to me) that we r vvv old childhood friends(his moon in my 4th, mine in his 1st) his venus in my 7th...can talk abt anything..........spend lot of time together........like daily routine things (his sun in my 6th)...i do for him lot of routine chores.....

and MVM u r right to some extent, he has proably made some exceptions for me, plus my pluto conjuct his asc and my mars is within eigth degree of his moon in 8th...and these are in taurus....

so how shld i put it....it feels to him that i try to control him...and i do think i sometimes emotionally manipulate him...though my venus in virgo..which i think makes u vv cautious in relationships and with my saturn in cancer chart ruler in 7th u can well imagine how cautious one wld be in relationships...anyway i think mars placements had always made me feel extremely comfortable with that person since the v first day we met........(we have venus sextile mars and venus sq mars as well)....so besides emotional closeness...physical closeness feels v natural....as in when you feel u have known this person 4ever so there is no reason to holdback...

hi yellowmoon, i've had this aspect a few times as the h1 person and their mars really enlivens me to express my asc qualities, sometimes in an exaggerated form [its in leo after all] but they always seem to put me in a better mood. and noticed the mars person is almost always -atleastsomewhat- sexually attracted to h1 person. sometimes mars can go overboard in their excitement around h1 person and h1 can feel a little bit overwhelmed by all of the attention, but usually it's been good fun.
