Hi guys!  Haven't been on for a bit, although I often read the astrology forum  Just pondering about Libra ascendants? what would be their characteristics? Would they tend to go hot and cold, with moodiness? Hmmm........ IP: Logged |

Moodiness is generally attributed to Cancer risings.Libra risings, I'd imagine, are very moderate and balanced in their dealings with life. They generally don't fly off the handle and are very charming. Very good with social grace. IP: Logged |

Here's the traits of the Libra Rising I used to know:- friendly and lots of friends (sociable at times) but can be really emotionally detached - Always dressed nicely even for tiny occasions like going to the store, concerned about external appearance more than some people. Seriously, this guy's bathroom was as full of cosmetics (some he tried but didn't like) as you'd expect to see in a woman's bathroom - charming, relaxed personality, tendency towards diplomatic relations (but can explode occasionally depending on rest of chart - my friend did!) - hates public displays of crassness and crudeness, may even have a fit if you are rather dressed down compared to him (as he sees that you are not presentable) - my libra rising WAS an uggo hahaha IP: Logged |

Yep I think thats the trait I was thinking of, the sociable but emotionally attached at times. Sounds like the libra rising I know.
Maybe depends on rest of chart as well though...aquarius sun, aquarius moon, mercury and venus in capricorn and mars in virgo? IP: Logged |

my bro is a libra ascendent and would make me change my clothes, hair, and make-up if he didn't like it. (if i was going out and would be around him that is) He'd rather buy an ugly gucci shirt than a nice no-name brand

We're very concerned with making sure we don't hurt others' feelings, we like to avoid big crowds and fighting, we're very showy in the way that we dress and speak. Our physical movement is calculated, and maybe a little affected. We like to ponder many different subjects. We like to offer council and advice and we love to be aggreeable. that may be you...but it also depends greatly on the other aspects of the chart. here's what i found:
Libra Ascendant
Everybody seems to like Libra Ascendant natives. They just come across as nice, pleasant, and fair. Look a little closer at their lives, and these nice people may have had quite a few problems in their relationships. Some of them have had a string of relationships, and it can be hard to imagine why! These natives attract others to them effortlessly. We´re not ugly :PIn fact we have a very charismatic charm hihihi I would say we are indecisive,very fashionable,love arts and music. Like to be with people who are inteligent,educated and with good heart. Hate violence,discussions,bad tempers,rudeness... Love to talk just to see how much argumentative the other is - we like to put them into test

I think libra risers or mooners are very attractive. They appear very beautiful even if they are not what most consider conventionally attractive. They dress very well and look nice.IP: Logged |

Libra Ascendants have their genes shaped into something quite attractive. I've yet to see a 'ugly' one. Generally, I don't think we are moody at all. However, for a particular person you would have to look at their chart, not everyone is the same! IP: Logged |

venus in libras also. In fact, anyone with lots of libra influence. Basically, I think anyone with lots of libra or taurus or venusian aspects are beautiful. I think people with libra or taurus on the mc are beautiful in appearance as well as with it being on the ascendant. IP: Logged |

Haaa!!Im a libra moon & rising and not to be cocky but I wouldnt say im ugly at all. Hey im not gods gift BUT i'll have to admit, im good looking & I can be SUPER charming (when I want to be) and can have my way with A LOT of people and i've also been told many times that I have a "beautiful smile" muahaha lol . A lot of times i'll do something wrong but i'll flash a cheeky innocent smile and no one stays angry at me. Hehehe! I'm not moody at all! Moody people aren't really my cuppa tea either...  I'm considered loud, eccentric, happy...
When the party is down, it's me they call! Bet on it...lol Maybe my Venus in Aries has a finger in there, and I think it gives me a bit of that childish mischievious looks, I can say and do the most outrageous things and get away with it! My Uranus in the 1st in Scorpio only has squares and oppositions...umm I wonder how it plays? I've been told I'm very original in the most natural way and versatile.I like to be original but not the clown of the gathering THANKS to Libra I guess! I think Libra ascendants are very Chameleon type, they blend and fit in somehow, and have the ability to stand out (and still fit in) by showing different colours... Does this make sense? I'm very independent and love to be on my own. The day that I grow bored of myself it's because I had enough of living! Oh yeah I notice how other people look! But then I notice everything! Even if I don't fancy, it's what makes them THEM! I make fun of it the same way I make fun of myself...charicatures! I'm not obsessed with fashion and looks like it's said, unless I'm designing! Maybe coz I like me simple and natural and I feel the sexiest with the least and kinda wild...(5 minutes does better for my looks than 1 hour) One of my best friends has a terrible dress sense, she knows and always comes for me when there's something special coming up. I'm very confident, I know what I am but specially what I'm not...as I said I make fun of myself! I consider myself a very warm person and don't do well with the more coldish types. But there you go, maybe my moon in Cancer conjunct the MC! The word that most men define me is:Sexy.
And I don't know where I get my skinny looks from coz Taurus sun (I eat a lot!) Libra Ascendant,and Cancer moon tend to put on weight. I'm stressing if my jeans aren't tight... I guess I'm very mixed up!Many things related to Libra Ascendant are spot on or not at all. I know some Libra suns and get on really well... Gemini are all over me usually! And couldn't be more wrong... Black is the colour that stays wow on me, but my fave colour and the one that resembles more with me: is sky blue.

I've only met one Libra rising... that I'm aware of. Women absolutely love him, (he's my art teacher btw) I've heard terms like sexy and adorable used alot with him. Listening to him talk, he had a string of messed up relationships,as a matter of fact he broke up with his girlfriend during the semester I had him. He's also got a Pisces Sun and Virgo Moon with Venus in Pisces in his 5th house if I recall correctly. He is a peace keeper,very sociable, and funny
but he could come across as angry, moody and intense with Mars on his MC and Pluto in his 1st house. IP: Logged |
