I had a moon opposite pluto double whammy, I felt drawn to him, comfortable and like I cared for him as brief as this relationship was (met up twice), he was a bit old for me and I go for younger typically now in my 30s.This aspect will help draw you in and get attached, it pulls you in but it doens't guarantee that you will fall under a spell and want to be with the other. I had the double whammy and great synastry with this older guy and I did not fall under a spell although yes I felt this pull that drew me in and it was bc of this we ended up meeting.
Moon in the 8th (synastry) is powerful IMO and I like it more, it pulls you in and gets you attached quickly and has more of that falling under a spell effect but it could be my moon in pisces flavoring that.
They both give this "there is something about you feeling" bc pluto/8th house adds this mystery that lures you in and the moon brings in this feeling of comfort and familiarity. The 8th house person or pluto person feels accepted fully with their shadow side by the moon person and will show them their pluto and 8th house stuff issues and perks. Its a placement/aspect conducive to feeling loved unconditionally with your shadow side included.
Its a combination that combines comfort, familiarity, acceptance with mystery and desire, hence why its powerful but it has its dark side too "obsession."
