Topic: Venus in leo girls = attention needers?

im seeing a very strong pattern of girls with venus in leo who like alot of attention, and get jealous of others sometimes if they get alot of attention.has anyone noticed this with girls/women with venus in leo? i don't know about the guys. IP: Logged |

Scorpios are known for their jealousy, but I feel that Leos are much more jealous. It's much more noticeable. IP: Logged |

As a Leo Sun, I agree, Fist. Leos are very very jealous, but we are more forgiving than Scorpios too, I think.I've only really known Venus Leo men, not girls. I haven't found them too attention-grabbing, certainly not compared to a Leo Moon person. IP: Logged |

leo's do get jelouse and i think it is more noticeable. but the main question in the topic is weather venus in leo women are attention seekers & needers. not comparing jealousy to scorpios. IP: Logged |

my bf is venus in scorp, he even got jealous because I talked with some other guys mom, more than I talked to his mom. i dunno about the leos, but scorp is outrageous. and don't you dare laugh about it. IP: Logged |

Hi!Venus in leo girl here  well..im not worth of be considered an example cause i find myself very complex but: Yup i do need a lot of attention,but i wont get jealous if other girls catch more attention than me in a party  afterall..im a Virgo sun!
I suppose i prefer to be the center of attention when i am in my own group of friends cause i like to feel the coziness of all of them around me.asking things and making me feel special.
I was always popular in Shcools but somehow if i felt i was being really the CENTER in a crowd full of strangers..well i had to run to the toillet just not to pass out. Jealousy?I only found out i was when i started to have a serious relationship - i dont really like when my bf is being arassed by other women-they like to do it in front of me just to see if he pays attention to them- but what they dont know is that my bf only has eyes to me and then..that is when i like to be attention-grabbing:when i kiss him with passion in front of them all hihihi IP: Logged |

thanks for the ontopic response!.maybe its ur virgo sun toning down the jelousy, now that im looking at the pattern of venus in leos, iv noticed its the combo of cancer sun girls with venus in leo. (my experience of them anyway) i think its possible that girls with mars in leo in hand with venus in leo amplifies the attention grabbing. me personally, i don't get very jelouse, i have a virgo mind (mercury) and a venus libra, plus other aspects. the 1 thing that is definitely true for me, is my aries moon, i prefer to be liked by people. if some one dislikes me, i enjoy making them dislike me even more. lol IP: Logged |

I'm a Venus in Leo, and yes I need LOTS and LOTS of attention. If someone in a group gets more attention than I do, I usually 1) try and get more attention 2) retire to my shell (cancer sun) and dissapear until they come back begging me to join them back (lol I know they don't beg but oh well).In relationships, I like to feel special, and I actually broke up with one guy I was dating just because he didn't give me all the attention I needed and I just lost interest for him. It's soo hard being like that, sometimes I wish I could just chill not worry about who gets more attention  IP: Logged |

melynna, you sound identical to my last romantic interest lol.maybe this pattern im seeing is mainly with cancer sun-leo venus combos. is your mars in leo by any chance? she had a mars leo too. her capricorn moon really was a turn off. also, in romance/love, in the cat and mouse situation, you have to be the mouse don't you? ring any bells? wow libralove09 everything you said about your ex rings soooo true...although I don't have a Mars in Leo (it's in gemini) but I do have a Capricorn Moon!. lol maybe it's a Cancer Sun/Capricorn Moon/Leo Venus thing? I know we cancers are very egocentric, plus the Leo? not a good mix I guess.
About the cat-mouse situation...that is so me... I wish I could stop it...I don't know how much longer my current bf will put up with it. I feel like if I don't do it, I'll blow up. I guess it's an "uncouncius" way to get more attention from him (even though he DOES give me lots of it) He's an Aqua Sun, Cappy Venus . However, I didn't do this with my ex (he was a Leo sun, Leo Venus), I don't know why.IP: Logged |

i didn't know cancers were egocentric?the cappi moon really put me off her, it made the 'security conscious' side of her personality too much, she was open about it too much too.. she stated she would only marry a rich man. love didn't seem to be the important factor, i thought that made her a right gold digger. turnt me right off. I have a friend with venus in leo and also moon. Sun in Libra, rising gemini. She loves to get attention, specially from men. And most of the time she does because she's gorgeous! But, she doesn't get jealous. IP: Logged |

Cancers are ego-centric. lol, it's not an insult, just a fact (based on my experiences).Ex boyfriend was a Venus Leo. He demanded a lot of attention, all the time, from everyone. It didn't come across as demanding though. More like, he always had to be talking to someone, being out somewhere, or doing something exciting so that he could talk about it to people later and get the OO's and Ah's he needed. My Venus Leo ex is very much about giving attention to other people...he never hogs the spotlight and isn't jealous the way a Leo Sun would be. (His jealousy style is more Scorpionic than Leonine.) He's a Libra, Gemini Moon, Scorpio Rising. But I think women might be v. different from men with this placement. IP: Logged |

I am Leo Sun and Leo Venus. Of course I want attentiveness from my bf and I'll get jealous if bf is paying more attention to other gals. But when I feel my bf is giving me attention, I feel proud if my bf is attractive to other gals.I dont think Leo Venuses are any more jealous than say Scorpios. We are just more vocal about our feelings. I think for some men this could be better, as they wont have to second guess our feelings. And if they care, they will comfort us. Had to reply to this. I'm a cancer sun with a leo venus. I do like attention from men and wonder why another gets more attention than me. I don't get jealous but I tend to pout a little. I think that's my cancer sun coming out. I definitely don't want to be the centre of attention though, I absolutely *hate* the spotlight. I do expect a good amount of attention from my boyfriend but it doesn't have to be constant. I like my alone time and time with friends. I don't get mad if he goes out with friends or is playing a sport as long as we have some time together. I'd go insane if we were together 24/7IP: Logged |

Nope, the opposite. Venus in Leo gets tired of so much attention and wants others to get their fair share.

I have noticed this with Moon and/or Venus in Leo.  I do this sometimes as well. My Moon is in Leo (along with my Ascendant and Jupiter), and even though Venus is in Sagittarius and not Leo, my Venus still has Leo influence because it's in the 5th house, in Leo decan, and it conjuncts my Sun. My Venus in Leo friend liked being center of attention and dominating the conversation, but I don't think anyone minded it because she was hilarious being a triple Gemini. She was never jealous if someone else got attention either.IP: Logged |
