an excerpt: quote: "This is arguably the world's most uncompromising aspect, one that brings out the destructive little boy in all of us, itchin' for a fight, dangerous behind the wheel, or blindly running into walls. Fortunately, humanistic astrology has taught us that every aspect has its constructive purpose and meaning, and this one is no exception. Mars-Uranus is made for overthrowing tyrants, including boredom, by going against the grain and carving out new paths of work, passion, and invention. We may explode in the brilliance of discovery that releases pent-up libido, wasted energy, and misplaced anger. This is not about turning swords into plowshares but turning them into light sabers that slice through the darkness of ignorance to illuminate a better way."
Jeff Jawer TMA forecast Although this was part of a forecast, I think it applies to people with this natal aspect as well. At least, I could relate to it that way. What do you think? Mars in Leo square Uranus in Scorpio IP: Logged |

I have this with mars in aries and uranus at the end of Sag. I do have a bit of flashpan anger issue when I've been pushed far enough. But I try not to act on impulse as much as I use to.IP: Logged |

I don't have this aspect, but I know a lot of people who do. At it's core, it's about rebellion. I think the impulsivity comes from feeling as though one has been placed in a box or labeled in some way. The immediate reaction is to prove that one cannot be controlled or defined so easily, so if you say "Don't" to this person, then they will surely "Do". If any energy, including rebellion, is channeled in a positive manner, then it could definitely be constructive! IP: Logged |

augentier, I have Mars in Pisces and Uranus in Sag too Exact square so it might be prominent in my chart. When I thought about this aspect, immediately this phrase resounded in my mind "Somebody stop meh!" -- Said by The Mask. I think The Mask would probably have this aspect. Rebelliousness? Check. Impulsiveness? Check. Drive/Aggression/Instability? Check check check. I know I get into accidents very often. When I was younger, I love to stick my fingers into rotating fan blades, destroy machines, fall into drains and stuff.

that quote sounds wonderful. sadly, my everyday life is a slow moving, boring, annoying hell, filled with slow, boring dinosaurs that are happy with things 'just the way they are' and feel like "I can't take it anymore" 20 times a day. neah. it's not that bad, either.

Interesting, since electricity of any kind has always scared the living daylights out of me. I am pretty accident prone though, but nothing car-related yet. I can relate to all the rebelliousness, aggression, flashpan anger aspects also. IP: Logged |

dulce, ME TOO. i've always had an intense fear of electricity. i have been mildly electrocuted many times though, so that may account for it. but even if i didn't have a small child, i'd probably keep those plug covers on!! IP: Logged |

I have it.....Uranus in Libra Square to Mars in Capricorn and both are involved in a T square with my Sun in Aries.I usually put a rein on my temper and once in a blue moon I'll explode - if it is warranted. Most of the time it's other drivers on the roads that cheese me off so I get my boyfriend to drive me around most of the time. (nah I end up pulling over to let the extreme tailgaters speed by and get caught in a speed trap).......Hmmmmmm maybe it's my taurus placements that really hates being PUSHED to do anything or hurried to go places.....I'd rather take my time and get to a place in one piece. I was never one to play with electrical items or knives. I find that I have quick reflexes and can usually catch things falling down off a shelf. I don't recall being good at dodge ball but I think I'd be good at it. ID IP: Logged |

"I don't think 9 is too wide, my brother is a Cancer with mars squared uranus, also 9 degree...he is EXTREMELY impulisve." I think 9 degrees is way too wide for a square.
I think that the impulsivity can be reflected by other Mars aspects in the chart as well as even midpoint pictures that involve Mars,Uranus and even other Mars midpoint configurations it could also be that they have closer orb in Right Ascension 3 midpoint configurations of Mars,Uranus: Uranus oppose Mars/Saturn - '13 Sun semisquare Mars/Uranus - '15 Uranus sesquiquadrate Moon/Mars - '45 in Right Ascension, Mars sesquiquadrate Uranus - '18
my Mars is in Aquarius (both tropical and ecliptic constellation zodiacs)

Someone very close to me has this natal aspect. He has a temper and his driving style scares me to the point where I refuse to be in his car. IP: Logged |

i have it...and how damn annoying this can be! i don't have a control over what i do in this matter. i despise aNYTHING that has to do with authority over me. according to my band mate, who kindly tells me that it's a good streak, he had to get used to the fact i tend to do just the opposite when he tells me to sing in a certain way. and of course i'm doing it just so i don't do what other people tell me to do, without really realising that i'm doing that. I have it, and a lot of other Uranus aspects too (sun/merc conjunct uranus, uranus semi-sextile venus and saturn, uranus quintile jupiter.) I would say that I am definitely impulsive and pushy but I TOTALLY know what's going on behind the scenes...I have a sixth sense about things....so I feel forced to push information out of people, make them say what they are thinking. Just to prove to them that they know too. I have some flash in the pan anger....which I don't regret, because it's never malicious! I am as honest as they come, I don't skirt truths, I push that **** right up in your face so you can see it clearly in a good way, haha I have learned to accept my Uranus-iness. So has my husband of 12 years...(we had a 5 year break! LOL)IP: Logged |

I'm a virgo girl...I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I always feel this in a more subtle, intellectual way... I like to be the rebel, but I actually also feel very uncomfortable with it...I just got my drivers license, and he told me that I was driving too slow...I hope this continue, cause I don't wan't to be provoked by any speed-idiots...! Sometimes I build up an anger inside me, especially against authoritative people, or people who try to command with me...I hate this! But I'm able to control my anger to a certain point...I have enough realistic sense to know when it's not the right time to explode in anger...but I can never make friends with an authoritative personality, it's like my whole body is against it, but I can ignore them and act like they don't exist..

I have Mars square Uranus ( with mars in aries -cusp of 2nd and 3rd house -whuzuuuuu, and uranus in cappy in the first house) Your statement is so accurate! You tell : Don't do...then they do it" it is a deffinetly mars square uranus behaviour. This is why I will never get a driver license..I am aware of my out-of-countrol energy IP: Logged |

Hmmm. I have this aspect with a 6 degree orb, out of sign. Cap Mars square Scorpio Uranus.I suppose when it's put in terms of rebelliousness, I can definitely relate. I've never been accident prone or inclined to think playing with dangerous objects was fun. I do like to chop wood, though, and I love martial arts. My husband has Moon square Uranus, and although we're both pretty patient people in general, we can both blow a gasket (verbally) in the blink of an eye if we've just had all we can take from whatever or whoever has been stressing us out. The funny thing is that he's a Leo, and I have Leo rising, so combined with the Uranus aspects, there is no way either of us is going to do anything someone else suggests. It takes a tremendous amount of thought and willingness to compromise for us to do any such thing. I don't drive recklessly (I'm pretty cautious, although I do drive in the fast lane and go above the speed limit on most days).
