Prenatal New MoonThere is a widespread belief among practitioners of esoteric astrology and karmic astrology that the last New Moon before an individual's actual birth reveals details about their karmic background and their present life-plan. It is also sometimes called the karmic New Moon. In esoteric astrology, the New Moon symbolises death, entrance into the solar paradise and rebirth. The astrologer Dane Rudhyar believes that the lunar phase at the time of birth reveals an individual's approach to life. The starting point for this lunar phase is the last New Moon before birth. The most important factor is the degree of the New Moon and its house and sign positions in the natal chart. This degree is thought to be a sensitive point in the chart. It is also possible to plot the position of any other planet of the New Moon horoscope in the natal chart (Synastry). Verena Bachmann and Claude Weiss have worked together to further develop this method: They erect a separate chart for the New Moon calculated for an individual's actual place of birth. This New Moon is then equally valid for all individuals born between this New Moon and the following one (around four weeks later). When a comparison is made between this horoscope and an individual's natal chart, it becomes apparent "which of themes and constellations in the New Moon we have chosen to energise in our individual lives". If anyone has looked at this and not finding the sensitive point hitting a planet. I found that they can also hit midpoints. So, for instance my sensative point is hitting my ven/mars midpoint. I also took a look at the pre-natal lunation for the full moon as well as the new moon.

Interesting my pre-natal New Moon was at 9'8 Capricorn in my 9th House and the Sun at the time was also at the EXACT same point to the minute. This sextiles my Natal Moon/Pluto. Thanks Vesta for the information. IP: Logged |

Wow that was easy to figure out! Interesting... The pre-natal moon was in Cancer and is located in natal 8th house. The 8th house seems to be a major theme in my life. Natal Sun and Mercury are both located closer to the end of the 8th house as well as it being the Sun-Venus midpoint. The pre-natal moon was also in a fellow water sign, my natal moon is in Pisces. What else should I be looking out for in the pre-natal moon? IP: Logged |

The pre-natal moon is at 21 degrees Cancer and my natal Vertex is at 27 degrees Cancer in the 8th house, does this seem significant Vesta-sister? IP: Logged |
