Has anyone had t Pluto conjunct their NN at all? What's it like? I'm having it now, trying to do some research on it but all I'm finding is the usual garden-variety stuff of rape, murder, death, fatal injuries, and other fun stuff. It's getting kind of annoying to read about.

This is the first positive thing I have read about this transit. I have Pluto square NN in my natal. My NN is in the 9th house in Cappy, at 3 degrees. So Pluto is really right on my NN right now.

I wonder too, that it feels like some of my life 'philosophies' are shifting in some essential way, though it's somehow still teeming. And I know the 9th house also rules publishing, and a memoir I've been working on (about death and symbolic descent into the underworld, of all things) on has really been going through a HUGE change in its structure. I wrote 400 pages of it and just threw them away a few months ago to start again with a new, different structure that is less rigid. I guess it makes sense.

MVM...you must be born close to me in 73?
i've got pluto square pluto and pluto opp saturn and pluto coming up to my nnode
i'm writing and re-writing
but it is also trining my mars and mc so hoping it's about hard work that helps me to actually get somewhere,
natally i have saturn square pluto and i read somewhere that it's a muscle building aspect....I wondered if it's similar for pluto in capricorn in general,
but pluto crossing the north node can indicate moving forward with help from the deceased,psychology and other 8th house subjects

Afflicted...yes, I was born in '73, too! Like you, I do have Pluto square Pluto, the same trine from Pluto to Mars (it's not going to conjunct by MC for a while though, since that's in the late degrees of Cappy).
I also have Pluto square Saturn, exact at 0 degrees in my chart, have t. Pluto oppose my Saturn too (I don't think it's as felt so much though since I've got the square going)

yep i have the old pluto square saturn natally too 1.1 degrees
I'm already getting bored of the pluto square but it has to turn retro yet but it'll all be over by november thankfully,
I am hoping that the positive benefits of pluto con node will show itself once the square has finished
also got neptune opp my sun til nov 2010 but pluto still hovers around my north node til after that.
when saturn enters libra at the end of the year it's going to join the party as it'll be squaring pluto and hence annoying our own natal saturn square pluto
It's certainly going to be an interesting couple of years because uranus goes into aries in 2011 and will be doing its thing...again on the natal saturn pluto square and north node
mega structural changes I would say..but because the north node is connected I'm thinking it has to be positive in the long run...but also connected to the life path and the soul purpose

MVM I've got this transit right now, the horror of it is that the Pluto/NN conjunction opposes natal Saturn, which complicates things so it might not be the same for you as for me. It's been wretched but I can see why the wretchedness was necessary now. There was a clear lesson in it. Thanks for the links everyone else, I've not been able to find anything.

wheelsofcheese both mvm and i have the pluto in opp to natal saturn too because natally our saturn and pluto are square
you must also be born in summer 73?

I think if someone doesn't have Pluto/Saturn square or opposition tightly in their chart then the transit might be felt more or something.

i do think if you're born with heavy aspects you get used to it in a funny sort of way,
exact transit for you wheels of cheese(for the saturn part) is 2010 til 2011
pluto goes retro at 3 degrees next month and will get to 4 degress at the end of jan 2010,
then june 2010,again dec 2010,again in aug 2011 til october for the final transit'

Afflicted, your Pluto square Pluto is over by November? Mine's going on now and astro.com says it's going to be going on until Dec. 2010 (CRY) ...what the heck? How is that possible? It's at 1 degree now, and the square is applying....and I checked the transit for that date and it shows Pluto square my Pluto at 0 degrees. What the hell? How long is this godawful transit?

its done with my saturn in november
that is at one degree cancer pluto at 2 degrees libra
that'll be neptune opp my sun...too much fog

this is from my ephemeris( which is not under a neptune transit)
pluto is at 3 degrees (goes retro on april 4th) until 9th may
at 2 degrees til 22nd may
at 1 degree til 4th august
0 degrees til (goes direct on 11th september)17th oct
then back at 1 degree til 24th nov
2 degrees til 23rd december
3 degrees til 20th jan 2010
4 degrees til 26th feb
5 degrees til( goes retro AGAIN 7th april) 17th may
then 4 degrees til 30th june
then 3 degrees til 17th august
2 degrees til 11th oct (direct mid september)
and finally 3 degrees til 23rd of november and it clears the 3rd degree...it does go retro once again to the 4th degree,but it is slow....

Transiting Pluto is parallel my Natal North Node right now. That's similar to transiting Pluto conjunct Natal North Node.

pluto right now is at 8 degrees Capricorn conjucting my natal North Node at 7.30 Capricorn and conjucting Solar return 2012 Desc. Any experience on this anyone ?
