On Telepathy, I find continually that Pallas works best, and that Telephus does not work just as powerfully. Psyche, Aura, Spirit work great too. I am 50-50 on Soma, as it indicates need for a stimulant, be it herbal tea or cigarettes or alcohol or a sophisticated drug for psychic connection.

Aspects to Neptune and Moon are necessary too.

I would point out to these three for the Psychic Connection:
1. Neptune to Psyche and Telephus
2. Psyche to Aura
3. Aura to Ascendant, very powerful
4. Aura quintile Moon, subtle yet effective
5. Alma conj Psyche, subtle

Have not statistically analyzed Urda, though I respect Urda and Medea's scope in occult astrology.
