I'm curious if any of you have experience with easier Neptune - Moon contacts in Synastry. They're supposed to create a telepathic link and a connection based on emotional understanding and empathy.I can definitely feel the aspects in my relationship with someone (sextile and trine so not very strong, but obvious). Even despite the other influences in the chart that would contradict them, they still manage to stand out and I can easily pick them out. There's clearly a telepathic connection that functions on a subtle level. There's a sense of non verbal understanding, too. And an underlying sense of empathy. I feel connected to this person mentally as if they could easily read me and relate to my moods. I think what makes these aspects so favorable is the fact that they are subtle, they seem to function beneath the surface, but they're very comforting. IP: Logged |

Yep, yep, yep and yep. My one true love and I share a less than one degree orb MUTUAL NEPTUNE-MOON conjunction (his Neptune conjunct my Moon and my Neptune conjunct his Moon). We have so many other out of this world synastry aspects but definitely there is never a need to talk around him. I can look at him and know. I can not look at him and know. I always know when he is around me even if he is 30 yards away. Even if he's half way across the world I can feel him thinking about me, if he's really happy I can feel it; there's a synergistic web of events/feelings btw us that defies all space and time. It's like our love is eternal, unconditional, undeniable and inescapable. We have a psychic connection on all levels, but I think emotionally/spiritually and psychologically, that's our Neptune-Moon aspects. Unfortunately, in the beginning there were a few things we probably should have verbalized. Mercury is still needed. Little tiny details that sharing may have come in handy. However the connection was so overwhelming and purely heavenly that we got lost in the haze of it all. Hard to be rational. We have mutual Pluto-Moon sextiles, my Neptune conjuncts his Chrion, sextiles his Venus. His Mars and Venus conjuncts my Venus. His N. Node is literally 2 seconds away from my Dsc., his Venus trines my Pluto I could go on....
THERE IS A REALLY GOOD BOOK/EXCERPT? ON THIS TOPIC ON SCRIBD called "Neptune in Synastry and the Composite Chart". It describes how these types of bonds can be so heavenly and bring you to the depths of hell at the same time. It also describes the Neptune-Moon bond as the ultimate eternal mother-child inducing feeling. It is as if the Neptune person is the spirit child and the Moon person is the mother of the universe. This relationship is similar to an amazing mother and her unborn child but it doesn't come anywhere close to comparing.
There is an incredible need for the Moon person to love the Neptune person unconditionally and protect them and the Neptune person feels an incredible soul warmth, love and protection, as if they were still merged with the essence of where we all came from. However this relationship can get out of whack (as you can imagine) and can be destructive, especially if either of the souls of the persons evolved are not ready or someone has emotional/early childhood issues, or, for example, someone (most likely the Moon person) becomes overwhelmed from all the giving because sometimes the Neptune person is like a helpless baby that doesn't give enough back (or realize the Moon person has needs too) and the Moon person feels emotionally taken advantage of. The problem is that it is most likely impossible for the Moon person to turn off the giving. The Moon person is also more earthly and possessive than the Neptune person. This is a bond that, even when the relationship is over OR NEVER EVEN STARTED, is never broken, and that's another problem. I just wanted to share something about Neptune-Moon synastry.
Someone's Scorpio Neptune is sitting between my Scorpio moon and mars (the orbs are 5 degrees for his Neptune-my Moon and 3 degrees for his Neptune-my Mars).Ive been several times Venus in Venus-Neptune conjunction, but boy this is worse... it feels exactly like UranusinPisces describes it. What I feel for him is the overwhelming desire to cherish and to protect him (Moon) and to hug/kiss/cuddle him (Mars), but it all remains platonic. There is so much tenderness and kindness between us that it really reminds me of a mother-baby relationship, both ways. And it s still there although we dont see often. Comparing to Venus-Neptune, this one gets more under your skin... and the communication is non-verbal in most part. IP: Logged |

Everything said here is soooooo true! For so long before I knew anything about astrology besides sun signs, I always said miss Scorpio and I had an unspoken connection. We would just look at each other and just "know." No words necessary. However like the OP said, some things SHOULD be verbalized; its just that this aspect (we have double whammy both ways Neptune sextile Moon) really makes you feel that no words are necessary.

I have a wide moon-neptune conjunction of 8 deg. with a soulmate and it is definitely felt ( I am the neptune!!!). No words needed. If you've ever experienced it, it's amazing- you just know...if you haven't, it's almost impossible to describe!IP: Logged |

I have moon/Neptune with fishy...
His moon conjunct my Neptune
My moon trine his Neptune.It's a wonderful aspect, but has some down side to it also.. There is a level of depency for each other, never really being able to let go... I have read that scribe article before, it's absoutly the best thing I have ever read... IP: Logged |

telepathy and misunderstanding sure..but mercury aint moon..Thoughts= not the same as soul feeling without saying a think..mercury would be more like friendship like, i got what she meant or something like that in a compassion way depending on individual depth as usual. the moon(more ally like?) is like something hugs u so soft and sweet, no demands, just free and yet disciplined but in good ways=natural
no need for expression, because the expression beneath is more intense then the physical expression ever could be..but the intensity is not like that of pluto, this is free a higher octave.But it might scare those who are not ready, and might sabotage themself somehow someway as usual :') Those who have felt it, are not into the physical plane anymore and more on journey with their soul and growth more then anything superficial , while there where young they were the opposite perhaps. I end up having Moon trine Neptune with a lot of people, but ironically they are ones I can go months not talking to, but it doesn't bother either of us. It's a very comfortable aspect; easy. It just flows and nothing the other person does really irritates you to your bones like some others may. Love it!IP: Logged |

He is moon conjuncted my neptune less than 1 degree.
Yes, his natal has moon moon conj. naptune also. He feel that telepathy than me .. i don't feel anything as much. But he know a lot about how I feel , also when we're not together. IP: Logged |
