Zane B. Stein says that this person orients himself to the universe in a way that goes beyond any particular path, established viewpoint, or structured lifestyle. They can't be categorized. The eyes have a look about them as if they where from another dimension, a stranger in a strange land. There is a hatred of inequality, they are dynamic, radiating energy and are disarming. There is a strong loner quality and they have the ability to get around the system. They have a "wild" look in their eyes which is attractive. The eyes attract attention, these people seem to have very old souls-their eyes look as if they could tell you a thousand stories. Anyone have stories to tell of this position??

Thanks for the compliment I have Chiron in the first house and I can't exactly say that I identify strongly with what you have said, since so little has been said about Chiron. I know personaly, that I am a very compassionate person, spiritual and like to entertain progressive ideas. I could, however, associate this with my Sun conj Neptune and maybe ny Sun conjuct Jupiter or my Jupiter conjuct Neptune (take your pick) I'd like to explore the Chiron subject a little more in depth; is Sagittarius the co-ruler of Chiron? What area of life does it rule and how does it manifest itself in a natal chart? Most of the explanations one gets is that Chiron is the "wounded healer" an "asteroid and not a planet", "a planet that is not to be included in natal interpretation" etc. But I reckon if its in my first house, its influence is much greater than I perceive. Chiron doesn't rule any sign.it's main archetype is the wounded healer, named after centaur of divine origin who was the mentor of of many heroes in Greek mythology he was abandoned by his mother,Philyra, and so that was his first wound. He became a foster parent of sorts, guiding many during their childhood. Chiron is classed as a centaur which is an object that is asteroid-comet hybrid with a highly elliptical orbit, crosses the orbits of one or more outerplanets, and is said originate from the kuiper belt.
it's one of over 60 centaurs discovered in our solar system http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2060_Chiron http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiron Raymond

I agree that chiron doesn't rule any sign. A lot of astrologers say it does and none of them can agree on any one sign. If chiron is in the 1st but not conj the asc then you will not identify with this as strongly.IP: Logged |

I have Chiron conjunct AC. Chiron is in 12th. I'd be interested to hear from other people who have this too and how they perceive it affects their personality and lives. Can relate to a lot of what was said above.IP: Logged |

I have Chiron conjunct ASC in the 12th.Idk man there's so many things in my chart that point to being in touch with other "planes" or w/e, but I have yet to really identify with any of it except that I love "space" music and am terrified of being abducted by aliens. IP: Logged |

amowls, I have Chiron parallel Ascendant with 20 minutes of arc, and I can relate to all that you said.....especially with very strong kuiper belt energy.....I always felt like an outcast, and I was for 3 years when I was in special education in elementary school. I knew that I was different. I was always fascinated with space. reading things about outerspace, planets, stars in childhood. I didn't get into Astrology until 1998.
I always found aliens to be fascinating. I would not fear of aliens. a matter of fact, I'd marry an alien gal if she looked human enough think of Max Sterling marrying Miriya Parino in ROBOTECH.
there was all this talk about March 2003 and the possibility of Nibiru coming back. I was thinking about how cool that would be. I wouldn't meeting Niburu women, and even marry one. Transiting Uranus conjuncting my Moon in Pisces during that time too.
of course, that never happened. so far...Niburu is just science fiction until there is actual proof but if Niburu or alien worlds do end up to be scientific fact, then heck....I will relish the possibility of getting involved with a women from another planet. My Moon in aspect to the transneptunians Ixion,Quaoar,Varuna,Sedna, and Eris could indicate my attraction to "far out" women. Raymond IP: Logged |

My eyes are what always attract attention, people always say they are hypnotic. I don't know whether this is coming from chiron conj asc or sun conj pluto, probably both as people with sun conj pluto also have a very intense gaze. I've always felt like an old soul and I'm very in touch with my past lives. Socially i've also always been something of a misfit. I'm standoffish because I don't feel that I fit in anywhere. The chiron motto "a stranger in a strange land" always fits me no matter where I am.IP: Logged |

I think the intense gaze might be Scorpio/Pluto,or a plutino in connection to Sun,Moon, or the rising sign I have that intense gaze myself when I was angry, I would really be glaring at people, giving them the "eye" ,real mean look this before I knew anything about Astrology. I thought Astrology was B.S. until 1998 I have Sun in Scorpio conjunct the large, plutino Ixion with 5 minutes of arc,and my Moon trines that. my chart ruler Mercury is in Scorpio. I do have Pluto in 1st too. I have Sun contraparallel Orcus with 1 minute of arc and Sun contraparallel Pluto. I wear glasses, and that covers up my penetrating eyes. I look like the bookish personality of my Virgo Ascendant. I do have an soft, innocent, virginal look with the Virgo Ascendant without my glasses. my mother has the same penetrating look too...especially when she's ****** ...she can be scary...she was scary when she was angry.
I think it's not just her chart ruler, Moon in Scorpio square Pluto. She has the largest plutino,Orcus in her 1st house conjunct her Ascendant with only 10 minutes of arc. I would say that alone can indicate great intensity. She also Sun sextile/parallel Pluto and Pluto parallel Ascendant. I notice the same look with my maternal grandfather who had Scorpio Ascendant, my maternal grandmother who has Scorpio Ascendant, my maternal aunt Dede who has Scorpio Ascendant and Sun. all my aunts and uncles have Sun connection to Pluto whether its in Scorpio and aspect to Pluto. I notice they have the same type of look. my exgf has Moon in Scorpio conjunct Pluto, and she has that look too. She also has Moon square Orcus. another thing, her Pluto semisquares Ascendant less than 10 minutes of arc.
I think that with Chiron being a nonconformist, there is nonconformist look about Chiron that makes a person stand out it could be various forms handicapped in some way like in a wheel chair a dwarf - I knew a person who is a dwarf, and he had 1st house ruler Sun conjunct Chiron a giant mixed race like half breed like in the way Chiron was half man-half horse in appearance person with a bunch of scars a person that many might view as being ugly those are just some examples there are more Raymond

I have my Leo ASC conjunct my Leo Chiron in the 12th house. People always seem to notice my eyes. They tell me it feels like I am "staring straight into their soul." I am sort of a loner as well but I have many friends. I like my alone time. My close friends now who are also into astrology and spirituality always tell me I am other worldly/mystical/angelic in some way haha.. I don't know how much I believe of that but I found this post super accurate! ThanksIP: Logged |

I'd definitely say Chiron conjunct Asc makes me look like a loner. Most of the time people see me they'd think I'm a loner but i'm really not.I can't STAND inequality, I can really relate to that description Chiron conjunct ASC in Scorpio IP: Logged |

The original description in this thread rings mostly true for me, as does this one from Bob Marks site:Chiron in the 1st house: Chiron here can make you like a knight in shining armor, always ready to fight for the underdog. Usually, while you are doing this, you are neglecting yourself. You could also be a wise councilor (especially in health matters) but you seem to have trouble taking your own advice. A 1st house Chiron can be a gifted teacher, and, of course, you can teach others how to do something better than you can do it yourself. http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/chiron21.5.html IP: Logged |

Chiron conjunct ASC can give something strange in persons outlook, eg different color of eyes (1 blue, other brown), asymmetry. Probably person likes asymetrycal haircuts. As profession they can become good councelors, advisors who help people in need, also advocates and doctors. Chiron gives something double-faced or deceitful to the personality. In higher levels Chiron keeps a key to higher wisdom. That is proably why some wrote about old soul. That is what I remember about Chiron.IP: Logged |
