Why not talk about his songs, it is a thread about him after all 1. Man In The Mirror 2. Thriller 3. Leave Me Alone I will be back in a week, maybe with top 10. Might take a bit longer for the probably the best musician that ever lived IP: Logged |

Don't blame it on astrology Don't blame it on allegations Don't blame it on opinion Just blame it on the boogie. Voicing a thought as a moderator: I believe this thread was intended as a tribute thread to Michael Jackson when started by Lara so how about leaving it as that. If you need to voice other opinions about him, start up it's own thread in LLC - this is the astrology forum. IP: Logged |

I am so very, very glad, even thrilled, I think- to see this thread coming back to the way it's meant to be and it's just so lovely- ladies and gents, you are wise individuals. Well, I will briefly discuss some other things in a separate post, not to "bring out 'issues'", just to add my two cents, that's all. I am so very, very pleased to see that things are coming back to normal again- watching you folks sharing our favorite MJ songs...you've brought warmth to my heart. I will share mine in an upcoming post.As some of you might know, I live in East Asia, one hour late than Tokyo, Japan- basically, I am staying up all night again because I've been up busy reading and observing our threads for Michael, and been collecting quotes from various individuals, but thankfully, problems have been solved. I really, but really, don't mean to spoil the thread- after all, it was absolutely someone else who started all this And I really can relate to Just Mia- to a certain extent, though (I realize that our positions might differ somewhat from each other's, but that's not even remotely a problem, as far as I'm concerned): I am a fan of Michael's. He has just died. I am mourning for him. I do care about him. No matter what he had done or what he had not done, regarding criminal allegations, accusations, charges and so forth- Michael is and forever shall be the King of Pop of all-time, and way beyond. "Guilty" or "not guilty", I will mourn for his untimely demise regardless. What I care about Michael most, is his contribution, his work, his brilliance, and such a loving soul that he was- were he innocent, I'd mourn for my beloved icon; were he not innocent, I'd mourn for him nevertheless. That's one thing. Having witnessed injustice, cruel preconceptions, judgments and hatred from people (Forgive me, but I have to say- sadly, and oddly- especially the majority of Americans- Michael's very fellow Americans ), and lack of efforts made to research on facts and the truth of the legal matters- is another. I mean, I'd mourn for Michael no matter what, that's one thing. Having witnessed injustice, societal barbarity is another. Forgive me for perhaps adding some heaviness to the precious lighthearted exchanges and fond memories of our beloved Michael. Oddly, this thread is the last among all the three LL threads about Michael's passing where I am posting the following. I just checked, and I am thankful that my fellow mourners gave me positive feedback. I hope this helps- PLEASE TAKE TIME AND YOUR PATIENCE TO READ THIS: BELOW IS A GROUNDBREAKING AND MONUMENTAL ARTICLE Was Michael Jackson Framed? by Mary A. Fischer GQ magazine 1994
