Losing MJ is a huge loss for anyone old enough to know his music. He was a huge influence...not to mention whenever he performed you couldn't take your eyes off him and his dancing. When Thriller came out, almost every song was a hit.Man in the Mirror Beat It Billy Jean IP: Logged |

I can't believe how many songs of his I'd forgotten, until recently. It's been so long since I heard anything of his on the radio or television...I just popped in to pass along this link... http://www.erinpavlina.com/blog/2009/06/the-passing-of-michael-jackson/ The Passing of Michael Jackson by Erin Pavlina I wasn’t sure I wanted to write a blog entry about the death of Michael Jackson, but my inbox is flooded with questions and concerns from fans about how he’s doing on the other side. So after careful thought, I’ve decided to share what I’ve picked up so far. Please bear in mind that I have not sat in session with any of Michael’s family which would give me a much stronger connection. All I’m doing right now is picking up on the energy that he’s broadcasting to everyone. Think of it like tuning in to the Michael Jackson station. I am not able to ask him questions, I’m only picking up on what he’s projecting. At the time of his passing he was very surprised to find himself standing next to his own body. He was confused initially. Eventually he understood that he had died, but this didn’t happen immediately. I think up until he got to the hospital he thought he might be able to get back into his body. Once he realized he was truly beyond recovery, his attention turned to the energy being cast at him by the people milling around outside the hospital. In some ways, this energy tethered him. Such an outpouring of love, he was filled by it. It was gratefully accepted by him. He seemed very much in a state of peace, love and gratitude. It’s almost as if he was wading through a pool of love energy, with a sense of wonder and he felt blessed. I don’t feel like he immediately went to his family. This is probably because the energy around the hospital was so strong. But eventually he was able to tune into his family and go to them. It feels like he centered his energy on his mother and his children. Although it pained him to see his family so upset, I feel like he was mostly trying to let them know that he was okay, perfectly fine, and totally intact. The aura of peace around Michael was very strong, and he wanted to comfort his family but could not. I have no doubt his family will feel his presence around them during this difficult time for them. People have asked me how he feels about his children. He loves his children so honestly, easily, and ardently. He feels they are in good hands with his mother. I feel he feels some regret that he won’t be there to raise his children, but I don’t feel like he is agonized over this. He believes they will be okay and very well cared for. There is a sense of relief in Michael. A feeling of putting down a very heavy weight and finally being free. He can feel the love people are casting at him, and although he feels the sadness too, it is not crippling him in any way. He feels compassion for those who are mourning him. I also feel he is hovering, easily and nicely, without great effort. He will probably cross over completely after his funeral or at such point as people disconnect their energy from him in a more “official” manner. Maybe that’s why we have funerals and say goodbye to our deceased loved ones, to let them know it’s okay to go on. Michael is bathed in love at this moment. He is surrounded by angels both living and incorporeal. He feels grateful for the life he had, and feels intense love for his family and children. Although the people he left behind may mourn deeply for him, he is awash in a state of love, gratitude, and peace. The best thing you can do for Michael now is to keep sending him love, and cherish the positive happy memories you have of him and his impact on your life – big or small. His journey is not quite over, but he’s getting there. IP: Logged |

I found this:Did Michael Jackson Commit Suicide? *Michael Jackson died of a heart attack which may or may not have been caused by his use of prescription drugs. But could his death have been a kind of indirect suicide? Michael was unhappy for decades and I keep wondering if he had lost enthusiasm for life itself. He certainly had lost his passion for performing. Michael Jackson spent the past several years running away from work -- even though he was being crushed by a mountain of debt (estimated to be over $400 million). Michael didn’t do anything to promote last year’s 25th anniversary of “Thriller.” No TV special, no all-star concert, nothing. Casino tycoon Steve Wynn wanted to build a huge Las Vegas extravaganza around the King of Pop, but Michael passed on that opportunity. The prince of Bahrain (who let Michael and his kids flop at his castle for over a year) signed a deal with Jackson for a new album, a movie and a world tour. Michael fooled around in the prince’s studio but never finished any music so the prince got in line with all the other creditors who are suing Jackson. Obviously, Michael Jackson was in no hurry to get back into the studio or onto the stage. Various spokespeople claimed he was excited about this summer’s planned concerts at London’s O2 Arena, but that’s hard to believe. Michael sounded more resigned than enthusiastic when he announced the London shows at a news conference in March. He kept repeating the series title, “This Is It,” in a bland tone of voice that made it seem that he didn’t really want to be bothered with this whole comeback thing. Add all of that to Michael’s unhealthy weight loss (media reports say he was about 110 pounds when he died), his alleged dependence on prescription drugs, his reckless spending habits, the childish theme of Neverland Ranch and, of course, all of that plastic surgery he had over the years and you have the picture of a man who apparently spent most of his life trying to escape from himself. No, Michael didn’t commit suicide. Not in the conventional sense. But in the midst of his tangled emotions, might he have given up on living (either consciously or subconsciously) and allowed himself to spiral down to the point where his untimely end became inevitable. To the world, Michael Jackson’s death was a tragedy. To Michael it may have been a relief. http://eurweb.com/story/eur54338.cfm IP: Logged |

I'm still not feeling as emotional as so many other people are, but I do feel sad. These things don't tend to hit me, until the funeral. When my grandmother died, it didn't really hit me that she was gone, until I realized at the funeral, that she was up there in the front, in that casket... By the time his funeral comes around, I'll be bawling, just like with Princess Diana. My favourite song from MJ IP: Logged |

I'm going to send at least one separate post, which should be coming up next. This is going to be just a very brief message [EDITED TO ADD:] *Excuse me- I just realized upon the successful posting of this message, this is not a brief one. My apologies*, expressing something on my mind that requires clarification. Lara, you said: quote: THANK YOU for posting this!!! D4Dervish
I'm sorry, Lara, but I'm afraid I do not quite understand what you mean. I am trying not to take this way too personal, or end up being nit-picking, however- I am D for Defiant; I am DfD; I am D; I am D4D; I am D4Defiant. As a fellow MJ fan, I very much appreciate your support for Michael, and the fact that you are also a fellow MJ fan, and you do care about Michael deeply. However, Lara- You addressed to me, and then called me D4Dervish- First of all, that is not my name. I am not D4Dervish. Secondly, I'd really hate to ever again mention this particular name, but I mean EVER- "Dervish" is the figure who made comments on the evil, Satanic, hideous, obnoxious, devious, vicious, malicious, cunning false accusation that I, D for Defiant, was a multiple poster, a LL terms of agreement violator, plus my so-called other twin- SORDID DIANA (Diana does not deserve the title "Dirty Diana", for the namesake of one of Michael's smash hits- to me, that individual is neither merely dirty, or filthy- I shall call her SORDID). I really don't mean to further ruin this tribute and mourning thread for our beloved Michael. Man, I mean- he had way enough, and even now he's dead, he's still having way, way enough. He really does not deserve all this trashing and even potential arguments between fellow MJ fans out of absolute stupidity. He did not, and does not- deserve all this nonsense Who is D4Dervish, Lara? I am not D4Dervish. Could you please explain to me, Lara, why you thought my LL username was D4Dervish? I look forward to hearing from you. RIP Michael. D ------------------ Every night and every morn, Some to misery are born; Every morn and every night, Some are born to sweet delight. Thank the gods I have a sense of humor. I did NOT call you a double poster. Perhaps you are too passionate to read a long posting because you skim and reach ridiculous conclusions? I said I was trying to figure out to whom LARA was talking about. I did not know about this thread at this time, and without this crucial context, I couldn't understand (and when I asked, Lara ignored me). I never saw Diana before and had NO idea who she was (and since NO ONE fit Diana's description, I ran with your name as you had a "D" in it--and as I clearly said, I didn't think you were this person Lara was referring to, or at least not justly referring to). In fact, as I said, I suspected she wasn't even real. To be clearer: There are TWO threads dedicated to MJ. I only knew about ONE of them, and NOT THIS one. I asked for clarification and Lara decided everyone knew which thread she was referring to, which was wrong on her part. Furthermore, as far as I know, Diana could be your real life name and Lara knows you in real life. Since Lara decided her thread was perfectly obvious--when it was not and I made clear it was not--all I could do was guess. I never said you were Diana, I made a guess at who Lara was talking about since Diana did not appear on the ONLY MJ thread that I knew about at the time. Can you understand the difference between hazarding a guess in order to finally get an answer as opposed to making an accusation? Besides, why the hell would someone put this RIP thread in the ASTROLOGY forum? How would I know this thread existed, especially when there was another thread in the appropriate forum (the very same forum, in fact, that her complaint thread was posted in--like what else was I supposed to think)? It doesn't even make sense that anyone posted this here in Astrology 2.0. IP: Logged |

The same article by Mary A. Fischer can also be found via the following link: http://www.buttonmonkey.com/misc/maryfischer.html Please stop ruining this thread with your obscenities, foul speech, and vain efforts for nothing but meeting your own selfish ends, feeding your insatiable ego, PLUS still, barbarically ruining this thread. One who is in his right mind would know not to further ruin this thread, which is in the right place- because we can discuss our deceased loved one's birth chart and any relative astrological information IN A LOVING MANNER, AS HIS FANS, if we wish. There is no need to talk back to a confused, if not with ulterior motives, questionable figure, to help such a figure further ruining this tribute thread for our beloved departed. It should be our right, as fans, to ban all non-fans from participating in the discussions here on this tribute, mourning thread. I have been obliged to talk back to a violent individual who suffers impaired judgment, if not downright brutality. Show some respect, and leave, if you are not a fan. This should be one of the threads strictly for fans and fans only.

Teasal As a matter of fact, up until right before Michael's sudden passing, my only local English language radio station still had been playing many of Michael's hits from time to time- every now and then, there would be listeners who requested Michael Jackson songs. Other times, the DJs just would play his songs, as non-requests. I like "The Lady in My Life"~ I love you, I need you, I want you, babe...Stay with me!...well, if I recall the lyrics correctly "Man in the Mirror" is powerful; it is a very encouraging, very positive song. "Human Nature". "Pretty Young Thing". "She's Out of My Life". "Who's Loving You". "Who Is It". "Smooth Criminal". "Leave Me Alone". "Speed Demon". "Liberian Girl"- definitely one of my top favorite Michael Jackson songs. "Another Part of Me". "Off the Wall". "One Day in Your Life". "Farewell My Summer Love". "Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone". "Never Gonna Say Goodbye". "Give in to Me". "I Just Can't Stop Loving You". Of course, "Billy Jean", "Beat It", "Thriller". "Jam". And many, many more. Michael's videos: Every single one of his videos was pure magic- only those from the album "Dangerous" and those proceded "Dangerous"- "Thriller"- naturally. "Remember the Time". "Black or White". "In the Closet". "Beat It". "Bad". "Leave Me Alone". And so many more. Motown Records had just released their 50th Anniversary 3-CD compilation, including 50 Motown hits- among which, there are quite a few Jackson 5 classics. Let us shift us fellow fans's focus back onto our fond memories of our favorite artist, his music, his work, and his legacy, shall we? Especially those fond memories and those magical moments. Awwww, Lara I totally forgive you. I am one hundred percent willing to forgive you- I can relate to things like this when those have been caused by exhaustion, somnolence...you know. No hard feelings at all. I am a little difficult at times, to say the very least. Please forgive me for being me, too. You know, Lara? Since this is your thread, meaning you're the one who started this thread to pay tribute and respects, and share fond memories with fellow fans here on this thread, as well as discussing Michael's natal chart and any other astrological info related to Michael in a loving manner, exclusively the topics we fans would ever discuss- I think it is high time that those who don't understand where we are coming from, those who don't empathize with us, those who are non-fans- to beat it! Okay, I would get a bit confused when I'm sleep-deprived, or otherwise very tired. Take it easy, Lara , all right? Let's just forget about that, and move on to share our loving memories about our icon, our loved one. Really? Well, that's nice to hear. Whenever I turn on FM Radio - the stations on which he might be played - it's all Beyonce or miserable-sounding men, like this one who sings something like: "Tonight will be the night that I fall in love with you, over again, don't make me change my mind." I recently started listening to AM Radio, because that's all there ever was on there. IP: Logged |
