ummm no. I'm not being a hypocrite... i don't think so anyway!
Paul is renowned for his temper... so it is in no way personal although i personally would trust MJ over Paul anyday.I just don't think it's right to imply that MJ only did it out of guilt. We all do things for reasons and those reasons are personal.

No, you always can say bad stuff about people you don't like, for whatever reason, but no one can say anything about someone you like without getting attacked. So, it's alleged that PM has a bad temper, which I have never heard, btw. Why is THAT info correct, but all the tons of negative info about MJ incorrect? Hypocrite. IP: Logged |

OK Diana... whatever.Paul McCartney always made out that he wrote the Beatles songs when in fat Lennon wrote most of them. This is common knowledge and i don't think you can really say that i'm being a hypocrite for pointing out the truth! lol zzzzzz IP: Logged |

PM has nothing to do with MJ (OTHER THAN THE BEATLES SONG RIGHTS, WHICH IS NOW RESOLVED) and is a creative genious in his own right whether he wrote or collaborated on all of those songs or not. we should leave him out of this thread.IP: Logged |

you argue like a 5 year old snotty girl. Do you really expect Lara or anyone else in that matter to turn around at 180 degree and immediately start detasting their Idol only because you pointed out a flaw of theirs? That's not gonna happen, be prepared. And hypocrisy is not the name we label it with, its called Love.Speaking about the alleged "stealing" of the Beattles songs catalog by MJ...He never really stole it. in 1985, the catalog was up for sale at a bidding. Michael Jackson happened to be the highest bidder ( $48 mln) and he got it. If Paul Maccartney had bidded more, he would have gotten it. He didn't. Needless to say, Yoko Ono was extremely pleased since she never wanted the rights to go to Paul M alone.
When MJ had financial difficulties in 2001, everybody thought he wold sell the catalog to get some money back. He, however, stated: "The Beatles catalogue is not for sale, has not been for sale and will never be for sale." He now left it to PM in his will. IP: Logged |

I think what he did in his will was an act of a real gentleman Orange. Now Sir Paul should be so humbled. I agree with you. LOVE. The ability to spot a good, decent human being amongst the masses and respect them enough to honor and uphold their name in their absence.I'm really just in turmoil now though having read that Chandler admits NOW that MJ never abused him... Again, you can say bad stuff about someone you don't like, but NO ONE can say bad stuff about someone you idolize. That's hypocrisy. You do this in every thread about someone famous. I don't expect them to start doing anything. This is a message board for the exchange of information and opinions.. It's not love, but hypocrisy when she won't tolerate anyone expressing a contrary opinion about someone and then doing exactly what she bitches and moans about: attack the other person, here it is PM. PM didn't have the money to beat MJ's bid and MJ knew about the bid because his friend told him. Do you really think MJ would leave such a substantial amount of money to PM, and not his children if he didn't feel he acted wrong and betrayed PM? We'll see if he actually left it to him. I believe he wanted to. Why should PM be humbled? He did nothing wrong. PM was decent to forgive him.
And if MJ was so decent, why is it he never granted part of his massive fortune to charity (that I am aware of)? He's supposed to be this angel on Earth, so why did he help no one?
I mean really, idolization is so stupid. He was a man, and a flawed one at that. I still haven't seen anything regarding the victim recanting on the major news outlets... IP: Logged |

This thread is starting to stink. I can't believe the lack of civility and degradation involved.
If someone in your own family died, I can't imagine how pleased you'd be if people starting kicking them. No matter what who that person is, and what they did, they are still your family.
How is this any different?
Because MJ isn't YOUR family then you don't feel any sense of personal responsibility ?
Instead bashing a barely dead person about their (real or imagined) sins is somehow OKAY...how? How does it make you a better person to do so? You think the fact that you can voice your opinion is simply something that you can fling around whenever you please, regardless of any care or thought?
