I've heard it has something to do with hormones of the mother while pregnant... possibly it could mean more testosterone for u, hence more action .. associated with with female estrogen deficiency if i'm not wrongI have an Aries Mars (Eros, Lust, AC conjunct) , Scorpio Venus. I have a high sex drive though I barely indulge it. I'm told I'm very aggressive. Just kissing is so boring for me. I much prefer it if it's leading somewhere. I love deeply but that doesn't effect my sex drive in any way. I'm pretty young and I stay away from long term relationships. ------------------

Meta, your chart is closer to my boyfriend's I think. He's a Pisces, Cancer Rising, Leo Moon. And for those of you with Mars in Aries... I've dated 2 people with Mars in Aries, one with Venus in Capricorn and one with Venus in Gemini. Guess which one does long term relationships? The Venus in Gemini lol. The one with Venus in Cap is very promiscuous. He has a Twitter account detailing all his escapades. He also has Eros conjunct NN in Aries. i have a very healthy sex drive. I cant have sex easily with sum1 i am not attracted to though. I mean, i need 2 hav sum kind of feelings. I have sex a few times a day and i flirt all day with my bf. Im a very bubbly person already so i add it in always talking dirty n being sexy. In the year 2006 i turnd off sex for some reason. I had panic attacks and i freakd out about everything. My bf loves sex as well. He has mars in libra and venus in aries. He claims to only b a freak with me lol. Hes a taurus. His eros is exactly cnj my venus 8h ruler. His mars cnj my asc. This bothers me as well. I have found this to be true in someone i know who has Venus in Capricorn. He has Mars in Pisces though. I don't get it. You would think that of ALL the Venus signs that V in Cap would be the most conservative, wouldn't you?? I guess not. Meta, in my friend's case, I'm more inclined to say his Eros/NN conjunction in Aries in his 5th house (and his 5th house ruler, Mars, is in his 5th) is more of a reason why he's so promiscuous, and not his Venus in Cap. He's also good at being emotionally detached from sexual encounters when he wants to be. He has Moon square Saturn and Uranus.I feel like Mars in Virgo people are more inclined to be attracted to personalities, rather than sexes. I mean, I've only noticed this was true with the two Mars in Virgo males I know, so there could be other things in their chart that point to experimentation. The Mars in Aries/Venus in Cap dude is also interested in male/male action. None of the guys I've mentioned identify as gay, though. IP: Logged |

Thanks for posting , leapinglemur, that is SO COOL! Twins are so interesting genetically--to look at the things you have in common and the things you don't (it's even weirder for identicals)--and duper-interesting astrologically.For example, your Pluto in different houses! And in synastry with other people, the very slight differences in your charts might create very big differences in the synastry, making you attracted to different people, although there would have to be a LOT of similarity in your attractions. And in synastry with each other...wowww...conjunctions up the wazoo. Okay sorry, I'm hijacking this thread, I've just never gotten to look at twin charts before. And twin Leos! Yeah! Pluto in Scorpio in the 7th=obsession with partnership, Pluto in Scorpio in the 8th=obsession with sex, deep psychology, transformation, astrology lol. Could account for different approaches to sexuality.And of course you have different ASCs...I guess identical twins could, too, so the differences wouldn't come out physically as much. And her Mars is closer to her AC...she probably seems more Aries-y than you...with that 8th house Pluto AND Pisces rising you'd be more watery than her, more dreamy and into the occult. Also, your Moon closer to your DC. Although the differences are obviously crazy-subtle. EDITED: Also, different approaches to work/lifepath--her MC in Capricorn, yours in Sag--that (combined with the different ASC signs) might make her more driven, practical, achievement-oriented and linear...you more interested career-wise in deep philosophy, exploration, lifelong learning. I really enjoyed reading all your different views and experiences in this thread.Heres what I think. In my twenties I really think I was just doing the other person a favor. Like my "womanly duty." Not that I hated it, but I was so tired with work and babies and stuff, I would have just rather slept.
In my teenage years, I remember thinking, "I hope my hair looks okay!" during sex, as if the guy cared!!!
But I had no idea what I was doing, and just did it solely to try to get love. THEN....somebody hit me on the hormones with a big ole babeball bat (aware of the visual pun) around age 35 or so, and now, its ON!
Having mars in libra, does make it a little difficult. What I mean is there HAS to be an intelectual stimulation for me, first, and then once I'm feeling that, well, just forget it.
But I agree with those that say "it has to be with the right person."
Thats why we have chemistry. Something says yes to some, and no to others before we even really perceive it conciously, IMHO. But when you find it, Good Lord, every nerve ending on your body is like standing on end, just being in that persons presence. So you can imagine what its like when your alone together. Whew! Gypsee, I have felt that... it's more magical than words can say... I go through extremes - lots of "it" and then nothing at all.

Romance alone doesn't always lead to sex for me. I can be in love with a guy, madly,and enjoy touching and kissing and etc but I won't be willing to have sex with him. Which confuses and upsets people,including me, of course..So I try to be careful when starting a relationship, or before things get out of control. I feel really stupid doing it but unless I try imagining having sex with someone , I won't know if I will want to when we end up in bed !!! I think it's my Venus in Libra that leads me to delusion sometimes. I really enjoy the company of men I find cute and attractive I guess, so I let things grow and grow until that final point and then spoil it all. And it's not like I'm lying to them. I do feel like I would have sex with them.. Romance combined with sex does exist though, but like I've said, I have to pay extra attention... Mars in Scorpio in the 6th.I was like Meta growing up. Never really giving in to lust to the extent that some do. In fact, I ended my teens without ever having intercourse. Not bad considering the first overt offer was in 8th grade. I can't really imagine not being interested in sex. I think that is an attribute of my Mars, though I do also have my Sun and Jupiter in the 8th, and my Moon is sextile my Mars. If I went a week without an orgasm I'd be amazed, and wonder if something was wrong with me. I can deal without sex in a relationship. I understand some people may not have my libido. I'll settle for cuddling, and tending to business on my own if I have to. I don't feel an entitlement to it, and I don't think I'd make a big deal of it's absense unless doing/having it was completely ruled out in which case I probably would have to think quite seriously about whether I be with that person. It's tough for me to imagine never having sex again. That wouldn't be good. IP: Logged |
