Not bathing daily?!?!?That could only work in the northern latitudes...in the cold months. IP: Logged |

Ja!I have a confession. I've skipped a day of showering/bathing before BUT I wash in the basin on those days. Also, there are days that require me to shower more than once a day. When I skip a day, it's because I'm not going to be around humans. It's when I'm alone, and I don't smell, so it made no difference to me. *don't smell as in, I am not one of those people that sweat profusely. So, the bacteria that feeds of the sweat glands is not rife on my body* I shower or take a bath daily normally, in the morning and in the evenings. Basically, I never leave the house without a thorough bath/shower, and if I leave the house I have to shower all that dirt when I get back. I wash my face twice a day. I wash my hair less often, say about every 3 days. I brush my teeth at least once a day because I have sensitive teeth and my dentist advised against too much brushing and so I floss all the time instead, and I rinse my mouth out all the time with mouth wash or bicarbonate of soda. Yes... anal. But, I seldom wake up with bad breath in the morning, and my breath is fresh and sweet. I'm kiss ready! Also, as Nine mentioned, when I am at the coast, where it is humid, there is just no way that a person can not bath daily. No way! I don't care what you say MVM. My idea of skipping a day is this: If I usually bath every 24 hours in the mornings, I would instead bath much later in the day say before I sleep, or something of that nature. NOT 48 hours later. When the hurricanes hit in Florida a few years ago, there was no water/electricity for 8-9 days where we were. It was 90 degrees and the humidity was unbearable. There were no showers.I can assure you that it wasn't pleasant. Yet sometimes I want to tap into my cavewoman side and don't shower for like 3 days or more. No, not if I'm seeing someone though (a couple of my exes have said I have a really good natural body scent, but we were smitten so of course they would say that LOL ) But if I'm alone? Yeah, I don't care! I own my stink !! When I was in the desert in Egypt on a trip, we had no water because the well pump wasn't working, but I learned that you can take 'sand baths'. When you're in a very pure, clean oasis/desert area as I was, the dry sand is extremely clean. We would 'bathe' in it and it shocked me how it took the stink away. You didn't feel squeaky clean, but hey, it worked! IP: Logged |

Lol...This a great conversation on bathing. By the way...we live in ARIZONA!!! You would think people would bathe daily but nope.... Unmoved I am similar to you, I am more likely to bathe if I am going to see very important people. E.g. my virgo. On the other hand, I don't have any problem with going out without bathing and sometimes, I just want to let go.... Starkiss1 Thanks for the good wishes. I wonder if it is possible to love someone without knowing it. I watched this great film the other day, it was about a man and a woman who met, lived inside the man's car, had sex...etc. It was not until the end of the movie they realized they loved another and they never said it via words. It was all action.... MyVirgoMask My virgo came as a refugee. I know that his family spent two weeks without bathing while trying to escape. He also told me that when living at his grandparents' village, bathing did not occur very often.
