I guess that aspects to IC/DC rulers can be strong too. X3 But well, interesting, coz I thought that my AC ruler isn't really aspected by my bf's planets, yet it happens that his Jupiter, that disposits to many planets and is the MC ruler, is making a trine to it.Since we have opposed ACs, our four axis rulers are the same (but reversed). Our Neptunes (his AC/my DC ruler) trines my AC/his DC, his Mercury (his IC/DC ruler) is right on my IC while mine (my AC/MC ruler) trines his Jupiter (his MC ruler), and lastly, my Jupiter also makes aspects to his planets, although it also squares his Saturn (not to mention how his Saturn sits right on my t-square). >.<; By the way, don't forget about the midpoints! Maybe someone's personal planets aspecting another person's midpoints (like Moon/Venus, Venus/Mars) can point to attraction too.

midpoints are nice, they tend to point to integration. one other thing i like is when aspect patterns are made through the synastry, such as grand trine although like pointed out prev. it can turn into a rut but i'm still partial. also for someone with an "adverse" strong aspect: if there is a planet in the other's chart that breaks up that tension it's a nice relief, esp. if the planet that is providing the relief is the same one that in the natal is causing possible tension. ex: a strong mars square pluto that is difficult to integrate, the partner having their mars making a sextile or trine to the other's pluto so showing them through the synastry that the energy can be dealt with in this manner to relieve some of the pressure, so that even after that relationship ends [as they all do] the native is left with at least a memory of this is what peace with that felt like so there's something to work towards later on, helping to realize full potential. You totally should! And then we'll form a band and take over the world!!! quote: also for someone with an "adverse" strong aspect: if there is a planet in the other's chart that breaks up that tension it's a nice relief, esp. if the planet that is providing the relief is the same one that in the natal is causing possible tension.
That's a really positive way of looking at synastry. IP: Logged |

I am surprised no one mentioned strong oppositions within a synastry chart..when two people have many oppositions(polarity pull)together there tends to be a strong "attraction" on both ends you notice each other, whether it be with the houses or the personal planets making contact. The only mutual attractions I have experienced personally have been with Aries men, an almost exact oppositions going on between us.IP: Logged |

What about venus conjunct or oppose uranus? I'm surprised no one mentioned this.. I know it's not necessarily long term, or even stable, but it's such an intense, instantanious attraction, a real headturner if very close or dw.IP: Logged |

I don't like Uranus in synastry. I don't have much of it in my chart except for a square to Venus. Moon opposite Uranus was very frustrating (I was Uranus; they were way too clingy).Oppositions I've heard cause attraction... but I think it depends on the plants involved. Like Jupiter opposite Moon or Venus sounds okay, but Mars opposition Saturn or Uranus sounds not so good. What about, bad attraction? Like you meet someone and you absolutely can't stand them? I rarely dislike a person outright, but a woman I just could not get along with had her Mars conjunct my Moon, opposition my Sun, Mercury, and square Pluto... basically activating my t-square from the Moon side. Then my Mars was opposing her Ascendant and my Venus conjunct her IC and oppose Jupiter. Maybe oppositions can mean both like and dislike. IP: Logged |

I had a Uranus/Venus with my ex hubby. Spark City. I like Uranus contacts, balanced by Saturn. IP: Logged |

Conjunctions and Oppositions cause attractions. Doesn't matter who this person is, when these aspects are present you will come face to face with this individual. If this person is your type, it's love, if not, drama. Regardless, you will stir each other. The charts which most accurately indicate these attractions are Progressed-to-progressed, and progressed-to-natal synastry charts... in my observations.
