I was just browsing online for this same transit because my guy is going to experience it in a few months, and after reading the descriptions i was like - oh im so glad i dont have to deal with all this crappy transit, pfew!
So i started looking at the ephemeris to see when it will slap me in the face....only to realize that i had already passed it in 2013 - TR Chiron square my Moon ( Moon rules my 5th house), and i dont remember any turbulence in 2013.
So that's that, im glad to announce it as a sign of hope for those who are going to have it

I think it was so strong for me, and extending over a long timespan, because it was accompanied by some other biggie-transits as well. Oh and natally Chiron is loosely square Saturn at 3 degrees. and Moon quinkunx Saturn exact. So when Chiron was transiting my Moon it was also quinkunx my Saturn (and sextile my Chiron, but that is probably not that important)
